There is plenty of parking onsite and the clinic is situated at the back of the antiques area Of Debden Barns (I just asked at the front desk for directions, it's very easy). The clinic itself is lovely with it's own reception area and separate rooms for aesthetics and beauty treatments, all behind it's own door so you are completely removed from other shoppers etc. Natasha administered my treatment, and was careful to explain each process and it's purpose as we went along. I already felt relaxed as we were in such a lovely room, but this really helped me to feel at ease. No element was at all painful and overall it was a very soothing treatment. I've had dermabrasion in the past and found it quite rough - once I even got a couple of grazes! - but the microdermabrasion used here was very gentle. The treatment started with a lactic acid peel which I admit I was a little nervous about but it was really gentle and just felt like a masque or a toner, very slightly tingly and no worrying skin sloughing when it came off. The O2 and O3 Ozone treatments were applied to the areas where lines and wrinkles were around my eyes, nose, mouth and forehead. They felt like a spray but were not wet and I was amazed when I had a look in the mirror because even with just one treatment I could see that my skin was smoother and the lines had sort of filled out a little or faded. There was a masque to finish which was soothing and relaxing. At the end of the treatment I felt really relaxed and refreshed, and I was thrilled that for the next few days I got many positive comments about how well I looked and good my skin looked. I'll definitely be going back again as it not only has an instant effect, but apparently regular treatments mean that the effect lasts for longer each time.

A week before the Bank Holiday weekend, I have decided to book myself in for a peel in preparation for a short city break with my sister and best friend. I have called up Aesthetics Lab and booked myself in for a consultation, followed by the peel. At arrival I was greeted by a very friendly receptionist who gave me an online questionnaire to fill in. It took me 10 to 12 minutes to finish. I did arrive early for my appointment, so I had plenty of time to kill. Joanna, very lovely and extremely helpful, discussed with me my skin history, problems and needs. Once we agreed on the treatment for my skin (we both agreed that my skin is dull & congested), I have been taken to the treatment room, where I met a very lovely aesthetician. I lied down on the bed, got tucked in & was ready for my peel. First my skin was preped by cleaning my skin & cleansed. A simple procedure, however it feels really nice when done by somebody else. Its time for the peel! A specifically selected (for my skin type) liquid peel was smoothly brushed on my skin. I had to stay with the peel on my skin for couple of minutes. It felt a bit itchy and stingy as it was working its way into my skin. The peel was removed & my skin was prepared for the 2nd part of my treatment: LED lights. This was my favourite part as it felt like you were bathing under the sun. After the treatment my skin felt a bit tight, however this went away after couple of hours. I have to say that that my skin feels like a baby's skin and very happy with the end result. The whole treatment lasted around an hour & even my black heads from my nose were removed.
