We had been meaning to go on this well-known and very popular tour which only operates during a few weeks every October, obviously due to its Halloween theme and content. You board the bus (make sure you book in advance!) at the usual site where the tour buses leave from the city centre in High Street, and the ghostly ghoul-like tour guide (dressed very spookily) will bring you on a guided tour of all the 'hot spots' or maybe I should say 'cold spots' in Belfast city centre, showing where the ghosts of Tomb Street are, among others, and finally finishing outside the eerie gates of Friar's Bush Graveyard, the oldest graveyard in Belfast. Then another tour guide takes over, showing you all there is to see in this very strange and haunting place - you couldn't not be spooked here - especially due to the few surprises and shocks that they have lined up! The tour finally ends in the Capstan Bar, where you hear more ghostly tales of old Belfast Town. A fantastic night for all the family and well worth the money - book in advance, it's 'deadly' popular. Wa ha ha ha! read more
