I recently attended a class at this studio and can't tell enough people about it! We had chosen our pictures prior to arrival from their extensive gallery and everything was ready and waiting. The owners/instructors are amazing -- they gave us just enough instruction, while allowing us to take artistic license. We were a group of 3 and each one of us definitely did our "spin" on the example. The paintings really came out better than we ever could have imagined. The owners were even able to frame our artwork, which are currently hanging in my home ( and have received tons of compliments) The ambiance is really perfect -- they have amazing examples throughout the studio and the background music is the perfect soundtrack to a great experience. They are in a great location and have an amazing rooftop area as well that can literally be used for anything! Furthermore, they are capable of hosting parties/events of various sizes. I spent time speaking with them about possible corporate functions, which they not only welcome, but have already hosted for some heavy-hitters! In a comedy of happenstance, this was the second painting studio (of two, ever) that I'd been to in two weeks. The first studio, everyone painted the same painting while the instructor guided us along the way of each section. The Beltline Studio, on the other hand, allowed each person to choose the painting that they wanted to create, and the instructor was available for tips, tricks of the trade, and a nice laugh along the way! Not to mention, she was able to make a light green paint color upon request, for no other reason than we wanted to see it done correctly :) After the painting had finished for the evening, we were able to take wine to the rooftop and view the sunset over the Atlanta skyline with the other participants that night. It was a night for the books, and I can highly recommend The Beltline Studio! Fun and they make it seem like I can paint. You can do one of their designs, which are varied and cool, or you can send in a photo of your own that they will trace shade lines onto the canvas for you. They help you pick colors and teach you painting and mixing techniques. All of the materials and instructions are included and it is byob. Really a cut above other recreational paint studios that force you to use stock images and limited paint colors. Plus, they are just REALLY nice! They give you personal instruction and make you feel great about whatever you're painting. We did our dogs cuz we're those people and they came out better than if we had a professional do a doggie portrait. I was floored. The space is great. It's clean and neat and big enough for birthdays, bachelorettes, team-building events. It can be hard to find but it's so worth it! It's a little hidden gem tucked behind Two Urban Licks. So, dinner and painting for date nights? Come to think of it, I wish my boyfriend could come up with a date like that. It would definitely put me "in the mood". ;) read more

My wife and I visited the Beltline Studio on our Anniversary. We had an awesome time. Jay and his family were great and they gave us some excellent tips on how to make the best of our paintings. I'm no painter ;-) But, we were both so pleased with our results that we had our work framed. Right now, we've got them on a shelf in the living room pending putting them up in a place of honor. We keep looking at the paintings and talking about what a great day we had making them. I highly recommend the Beltline Studio experience. It was an excellent time for us on our Anniversary and I think it would be a great party experience with a group. Go check out their website and see how many cool paintings there are to choose from. My girlfriend and I went to the Beltline Studio for a Saturday night class and had a great time. The studio is a short walk from Ponce City Market, so we were able to grab dinner (and growlers) there, then head straight over to the studio. We each were able to choose the painting we wanted from their extensive selection online, and when we came in, the canvases were set up with penciled outlines of our pieces. That was helpful for a less skilled artist like me, but easily be ignored if you wanted to do your own thing. The owners were very nice and provided advice if you wanted it, while also encouraging you to try your own ideas. The 3 hour class flew by, and the pieces that came out of it were really impressive. It's a great place for a date or a group, and we'll definitely be back. read more

This was such a great experience! The Beltline Studio is far better than some of the other paint & sip studios I've been to in the past. Jay and his family are super welcoming and engaging, coaching you through the process to make sure you come away with a masterpiece of your own, even if you think you have no talent or skill at all. Everyone gets to work on a painting of their own choosing (and there are plenty of choices!). Your seat, canvas and brushes are all set up and waiting for you before you arrive. Jay and Janika provide a lot of instructions and encouragement, helping with color selection, sharing painting techniques, and saving a painting you might feel you messed up beyond salvation. This was an awesome paint and sip experience! The owner is incredibly accommodating and allowed us to access the rooftop and patio in the building before our class was supposed to start. He provided us with wine glasses, ice buckets, and an outdoor speaker to use on the roof. He went way above and beyond to make sure we felt at home!! The class itself was incredible. They offer just enough guidance to help you out as an inexperienced painter, but they still give you a ton of freedom to paint what you want. The lead instructor, John, was so mellow and philosophical. He made the experience very relaxing and fun! I HIGHLY recommend this studio. We went to the studio as a family (my husband, my son, his girlfriend and me) we had a wonderful time. It's a family owned business. The whole experience was great. I had a bit of hard time redeeming the Groupon online, but Jay took very good care of that issue. The family was very helpful. They walked around giving suggestions and making sure we had all the supplies we needed. Jay even saved my husband's painting. We loved the fact that everyone got to take home a different painting! There are so many good pictures to chose from that it was hard to make a decision. They walked around and took pictures of the experience and then airdropped them to us. Awesome Venue for any occasion! We had a party here on Saturday. It was fabulous. Even though it was a paint & sip It turned out to be much more. We gathered at the club house and soon ended up on the rooftop overlooking ATL. Jay had a artist there to give us guidance on our canvas pieces. The music and ambiance was great. This is a great place to meet people that's perfectly located on the Beltline. We were allowed to bring food, wine, soda and water. However they provided wine They get an A plus from me. I absolutely looooooooved this place! My fiancé and I went about two months ago, and although it's taken me a while to write the review, that doesn't reflect our experience. We had so much fun, the owners were so friendly, and the place is so cozy! I've been recommending it everyone. It's so much better than the other paint and sip places out there because you can pick whatever picture you want to paint. It's a more personal environment. Not to mention, they put our wine on ice and served our food to us! Didn't have to bring plates or cups. Super awesome! read more

I planned a private event with The Beltline Studio and it was a wonderful success! The owner, Jay, was incredibly nice, helpful, flexible, and fun. He allowed my team to customize the painting we did, he allowed us to reschedule last minute due to weather, and he helped us have an enjoyable rooftop dinning experience! John, the artist that guided our team painting, was incredibly talented and knowledgeable. He helped all of us make our paintings become a masterpiece! I couldn't speak more highly of this business. Awesome experience! I researched other paint and sip studios, and I felt like this one didn't compare! I was planning an outing for my mom's birthday, so I had 9 other family members who joined us. The music was awesome, the studio was clean and super creative. Jay and his team helped guide everyone in their painting and we were all able to create masterpieces. I've never come across a Paint & Sip Studio like this before! This is LUXE Paint & Sip for sure! Jay showed us the Patio, Clubhouse, and an incredible Rooftop space that is available to all the guests of the Studio and often used for larger private parties. The Best part about this studio is that you can paint whatever you like, however you like, and Jay lets people come back to make adjustments or to finish up whenever you like. Jay was incredible. He is a talented artist and a great teacher. He was so accommodating and allowed us all to do different paintings. It was a great experience and compared to the one other paint and sip class I have done, this was worlds better. My husband , who has never painted, got the guidance he needed and he really excelled. He gives you ice boxes for wine and there is a refrigerator to put any other drinks. Overall it was more than what we had hoped for on our date night. read more

I have been to other paint and wine experiences, but this was by far the best. We brought our own wine, which Jay put in ice and gave us wine glasses. He let us chose our own painting subject when we arrived and helped us sketch it out on the canvas before we started painting. Went with my wife for a nice date night and It didn't disappoint! I have zero experience painting and Jay helped when needed and made the experience amazing! Parking was easy convenient, which isn't normal in Atlanta. They were accommodating in every way possible; put your beer, wine, etc on ice right away (all the bells and whistles).
