Pandan Bubble Waffle and an Artichoke drink with grass jelly and basil seeds. 5 stars.
    Eliza L.

This is my favorite go to spot to get my R1 - Royal Artichoke drink $5.25 5/5 stars. It has clear boba, grass jelly, & chia seed. It's so refreshing and light. No sugar. Highly recommend.

Taro Milk Tea and Hawaii Sunset

This bubble tea shop has so many options--it's honestly a little overwhelming at first! Thankfully, the staff were incredibly friendly and patient. One team member kindly explained the drinks I was curious about and even gave me a recommendation, which I really appreciated--and it was spot on! I went with the Hawaii Sunset fruit tea at 50% sugar. Just a heads-up: their fruit teas lean more on the fruit-forward side than actual tea, and mine was definitely on the sweeter end of the spectrum--likely from the syrup in the mango popping boba. Even at half sugar, it was pretty sweet. I also noticed a couple of things that could've made the drink better: some lemon seeds were left in, and the smaller bits of mango weren't fully ripe, which made the texture a bit off. That said, the staff's kindness and the wide variety of drinks make me want to come back and try other options! I'm especially interested in their Saigon street food menu and those adorable kitty paw-shaped mochi waffles. The shop itself is small with limited seating, so I'd recommend grabbing your drinks to-go unless you're staying for a bite. Bonus points for being located in a shopping plaza with plenty of parking--no stress finding a spot!

All my homies love The Bep! I love that many of their signature drinks have toppings included and aren't super pricey. The Kyoto matcha brûlée was a cool unique flavor that wasn't overly sweet, and the matcha boba was also great (texture is more like a jelly).

The environment is great. Foods are decent! We ordered fries, tofu and chicken. We finished fries and chicken right away. But the tofu was a hit or miss kind of feeling. Our tofu was overdone, so it's tough and dry. Drinks were overall good. Not a bad choice to try!

    Herbal fresh coco

My uncle recommended this drink from the bep in bellaire called the herbal fresh coco refresher. It is a mix of coconut and grass jelly with some sago as well. This drink honestly hit the spot. It was so refreshing and felt really light. The grass jelly was easy to sip up occasionally as well as the sago. The coconut bits are in big pieces so I had to open the lid to eat them at the end. This was a nice change from the usual milk teas I usually get at boba shops

The drinks here are super refreshing and a few of them are pretty unique! I love that they use fresh fruits in their juices. Their boba is Al dente - not overly chewy and just the right amount of sweetness. The ambiance is great for hanging out with friends, with kpop playing in the back. Not an ideal place to study, they don't really have tables for computer use, but they have 3 couches for hangouts. The service is friendly and quick as well!

They are open late and they have plenty of parking. When we came in around 9:45 pm, they were busy, all the tables were packed and the line went to the door. Their drinks are fabulous! I had the S11 (70% sugar), M6 (no pudding), and F9 (70% sugar). There is food too but we already ate. The tables cleared up after we ordered so sitting at one while we waited for our drink and to drink our drinks was fine. The decorations are cute.

Let me preface that my mom truly loves The Bep and everything that they offer. However, after our last encounter, it was the last straw that broke the camel's back. While I do understand the supply and demand of to go boxes, and things costing the establishment, they nickel and dime customers every chance they get. My mom spends a LOT of money at The Bep and supports this business both this location and the beltway location. They had a new item that she was curious about, and just as she was about to purchase it, in addition to her $50 bill, she asks for a to go box so that her and I can share for the car ride back home. One of the ladies came to the cash register and told my mom, "that will be 50 cents". My mom looks up and looks at me with such shock and stated "50 cents??? You're kidding. I'm purchasing a lot of things and you're charging me 50 cents for a to go box????" She buys boxes of baos, packaged refrigerated drinks, snacks, to even boba. Her most favorite things are the boxes of baos and packaged drinks. And when I tell you, they are going at it back and forth over 50 cents, it just wasn't worth the headache. I intervene and stop the conversation and tell both people to stop. We don't need it. Then my mom proceeds to say "don't bother tipping". As we pay, the woman that argued with my mom, decides AFTER THE FACT, to give her the small cardboard Togo box. And my mom gives her the hand and says no. Sassy.... When moms are involved, don't test her. It's not worth the breath. At that point, it's just safe to say that we won't have to return to the Bellaire location. But as customer service goes, it went from great to bad. Mama T's fav location is no longer a fav. *sad face*

An amazing chill spot to eat delicious snacks. I loved the food and a great tea spot. It was super nice to sit down and relax outside here with the chill music as well. The waiters were super quick and friendly. Decent spot!

Bep Teahouse is one of my favorite boba spots to visit whenever I'm in Houston! They use organic teas whenever possible, and everything I've tried has been consistently amazing. It's clear they take a lot of care with their ingredients and flavors. On my most recent visit, I ordered the Biscoff Milk Tea and the blended version--and both were absolutely delicious! The flavors were rich and satisfying without being overly sweet. The ambience was also super cute, with thoughtful decor that made the space feel cozy and inviting. Highly recommend stopping by if you're in the area!

boba drinks are averagely priced and they also have an option for a surprise blind box cup. we got the perfect peach drink and the flavor was a good sweet level there was no line when we arrived and the drink came out quickly. service was nice and there is ample parking. ambiance is nice and clean aesthetic inside

This is one of my favorite places for boba. The store is small but always clean, and the staff are always friendly. I love how the drinks are always full of flavors, and there are so many drinks and snack options. You can order the drinks from the menu as is or customize your own drinks/toppings/sweetness levels. My favorite drink is the classic milk tea with either the brown sugar boba or creme brulee. I usually get this combo or a variation of this combo whenever I stop by. Pictured are the classic milk tea with brown sugar boba and creme brulee and the Thai green tea. The other flavors that they have are just as good.

My favorite boba shop of all time! I love how the menu has so many choices that it's hard to choose! Love coming back here!

The lounge like ambiance, along with their diner-like menu, is a major selling point for folks and has been one of the reasons for their popularity over the better part of the last two decades. It is a bit trendy and plays music that you would think of and in a Miami lounge or a pretentious New York Club. While service is not their strong suit, the clean bathrooms, spacious seating, and semi-open kitchen makes up for some 'tudes from the staff. The menu is most definitely Asian, but blends from a predominantly Chinese menu and featuring various Taiwanese, Korean, Japanese items. The latter includes sushi, which is likely one of the only spots in the neighborhood that still has it after midnight. They have bluefin tuna and sea urchin, in which Cafe 101 is one of the only late night spots to offer it. Their beef chow fun is nice and greasy, but filled with excessive onions, bean sprouts, and various other veggies that almost take away from the noodles and beef (which was nicely cooked). Their shrimp and egg came in a nice set, which was a good surprise and surprisingly well executed. This is also a spot for Japanese curry, and even though it's not the best, it most certainly does the job. Taiwanese popcorn chicken is on point, cumin lamb is unsurprisingly spicy, and Singapore chow mai fun has a tinge of solid wok hei. (#1) I'm genuinely not a fan of their soups and think the sushi rolls are not their best work. While they also have milk, tea options, unless one is desperate, I would also steer clear of. Parking in the early evening can be an issue at Don Huang Plaza, but after 11pm, the parking options should be abundant. I would consider coming here in a larger group, especially with late night owls. ___________ (#1) Wok's essence (鑊氣)

Would LOVE to take my cousins here one day…read more Environment/Atmosphere - Super crowded when we got here, but the lines moved fast, and there was a kiosk to self-order if you didn't want to wait in line for the cashier. One of my favorite things was how fragrant the space smelled while I waited for my boba. You could tell there was an exceptional tea aroma lingering despite all the cream and sweetness. The place was exceptionally clean for being so busy, and the workers consistently cleaned as they made the drinks, so you knew you could trust the sanitation here. Drink Design - I have to make a separate comment on how CUTE these drinks were. I loved the intentional sticker placement over the lips and the little carrying handle. You could tell they went the extra mile to make these drinks not just flavorful, but an experience in and of themselves. Even their receipt paper felt luxurious. That sounds ridiculous to point out, but the thought behind every aspect of this place is impeccable. High Mountain Pouchong Tea w. Lemon Juice & Mousse (Creamy Lemon Tart) - After all the sugar I had today, this lemony drink hit the spot with its perfect tartness. The cream had bits of lemon zest in it, adding to the aroma. I tried to adjust the sweetness when I ordered and was told it had a built-in sweetness, but if I found it too sweet, they would happily switch it out for another drink. I felt like I was dealing with Amazon's generous return policy--and luckily, the drink was perfect, so no return was needed! Creamy Mango Tart - Literally like the Lemon Tart, but mango. I loved this just as much and really enjoyed the refreshing flavors of BOTH tarts. Instantly a fan favorite. Dong Ding Oolong Tea w. Fresh Milk - Very mild and creamy, almost like a mellow latte. Not my favorite because it was a bit too creamy after everything else I had today. Still, I loved the tea profile and can absolutely see why others would love it. Overall, I love, love, LOVE this place. 1000/10. From the experience to the quality and intentionality behind every little detail, I couldn't be happier with my visit. I never thought I'd ever say that a drink was so Instagram-worthy, but these drinks were beautiful--like models of the boba world. Would go back in a heartbeat.
