I was not happy at all though to be told that we could only have the table for two hours then we'd have to vacate it. When I protested the person I spoke to said tough (in more words than that but that was the upshot) that's how we run it here. So basically go if you want to be rushed, hurried and kicked off your table to the bar once they have your money. The food is good but not that good and there are better restaurants nearby (The Red Herring in Oulton Broad or the White Lion at Wheatacre for example) . Comments by Qype User regarding being rushed off your table are unreasonable it is a very popular restaurant and two hours should be plenty of time to eat three courses and drink some wine. If Qype User wants to party maybe they should go a pub like the Wheatacre White Lion which incidentally has the worst Thai food I've ever tasted. It's a pub not the Blue Elephant but I've been there twice and a greasy sloppy mess springs to mind.

An experience not to be repeated or recommended unless you are desperate for the toilet!
