Rural Australia has a habit of having giant kitsch objects popping up everywhere - and this is one of the better ones! The big strawberry itself isnt really that big - but its about as big as an elephant, so thats a good size. Next to it, is a really cool (cool as in temperature) shop with a concrete floor like a no frills supermarket. It sells tasting size strawberry jam (and all other jams too) as well as strawberry tarts, strawberry slices, strawberry everything else and even strawberries themselves too. The staff are very friendly and I managed to spend $23 in there! Its a good stop for a toilet break too on a long drive (and a sugar hit). Avoid this dump like the plague!!! Waited 50 minutes for a small order of scones and coffee...when spoke to checkout operator and asked for "refund please", it hits my wife and i with attitude and that they did not have a table number for our order...derrrr!
