I remembered the first time I visited this place I and saw their cute merchandise and trinkets I knew I had to come back. The merchandise they carry is similar to Hobby Lobby, or T.J. Maxx's merchandise for home decor, gifts and trinkets except more unique and a tad bit more expensive. But I love anything unique that's not mass produced with that unique personal touch. But a lot of their merchandise are marked higher than most places. They have a nice variety of selections from jewelry, to baby gifts, home decor, snacks, cute pens and pencils for the office, etc... But if your gift shopping for someone and want a special non generic gift or looking for something unique for yourself and for your home this is the place to go. Their merchandise also comes in different styles from contemporary to traditional pieces which appeals to different tastes. Awesome!!! And their shop is coordinated by color. Sometimes they have discount specials... where if your first or last name starts with a certain letter in the alphabet you save 20%, and they also have a rewards card. Once that's filled up you can save money, but otherwise when shopping there just expect to shell out some extra cash. This is one cutest gift shops I've been to. I go here even if I'm not visiting someone in the hospital. But because this place is located in a hospital parking can be hard to find. But I recommend checking this place out.

I like this particular store because it is only 45 minutes away from where I live, the employees are friendly and they have a large enough store you can find anything your incense loving heart desires. I also like all the little trinkets they sell here. The small bamboo plants are super cute and have given some Fung-sway to my living room and bed room. Even my best friend buys incense here because of the large selection and the holder options. I won't hesitate to stop into Sleeping Tiger Imports anytime I'm in the University Park Mall, especially now that I don't have anyone under the same roof that has a sensitivity to incense.

The cafe is inside of Granger Community Church, but when you enter you are immediately in the bookstore/cafe/seating areas. It's a cool, calm, casual and comfy environment - the 4 Cs (which I literally just made up) and their seating is very spaced out throughout the area. Some seating is around tables, fireplaces, and in big oversized cozy chairs. I got to visit Make South Bend during one of its Makers Markets, which meant that I got to chat with some makers along with shopping. In particular, I chatted with an awesome jewelry maker. I wish I remembered her name. I bought two hammered copper necklaces from her -- two for $20 was a deal I couldn't pass up -- and she seemed so excited to be there and talk about her craft. Make hosted a soap maker, other jewelers and some paper goods from what I can remember. And the display at the front of the store really drew me in. There were a few T-shirts and tank tops that I wanted so much to take home with me. Alas, they were only available in small and 2X. I definitely plan to peak in on my next South Bend visit and see if they have more available. Make also hosts classes. If I lived in Michiana, I would definitely take advantage of these. Melton crayon art, pine cone projects, wreath making, screenprinting, laser cutting Star Wars ornaments -- I so want in! And as I told the owner, I love that she focuses on the crafts part of making, as well as more technical aspects, like laser cutting and Arduino programming. Spencer's is like a more adult version of Hot Topic.  Their items are definitely unique and I love…read morethe variety of things they have in stock.  Back packs, shirts, jars for....stuff and just everything the dark part of your mind will be happy with.  My parents never approved of this store when I was a kid but now I'm an adult so, Spencer's is my favorite.  The store isn't large so when it gets busy it can make you feel a bit claustrophobic. All the Spencer's stores are like that though so it's just something you'll have to risk if you are determined to go. The staff is pretty friendly. I've never had an issue with the staff, they always greet you upon entree and ask the standard "Do you need help finding anything? Let me know if you do" Thanks for the years of amazingness. they falsely accused a friend of mine of shoplifting and banned them from the store without proper…read moreproof that they did anything. they said they were fidgety and they acted like a shoplifter when they cried because of the false accusation -- they have anxiety and are sensitive. cant help it. if you do come here, don't stand in one area for too long or else you're automatically assumed guilty if anything goes missing and they wont even try to accuse anyone else who was in the surrounding area. the manager switched up her story when their parent asked about it to make it seem like theyre guilty. not even willing to consider their side of the story. my friend spends a lot of money there and even asked their guardian for more money just so they could afford what they wanted. does that seem like someone who shoplifts to you? someone who adores that store and asks for more money just to get what they want for $60 but you think they stole $16 worth of bracelets?? someone who is so nervous they would have ratted themselves out for it????? whatever. that's simply pathetic.
