The hotel is clean and comfortable. There is a spa to get massages and a restaurant inside. It has great food, including pierogis. The breakfast in the morning is also pretty good. Typical European fare with great coffee and a variety of meats, breads, and cheeses. The beds had a great foam pad on them and were very comfortable but the pillows are just as awful as every other hotel.

The food looked and tasted great (photos). Service was excellent with courtesy and friendliness. It had a wonderfully elegant atmosphere in this castle dining room where the nobles dined on great occasions. You felt like one as you dined here. I also thought the food was priced very reasonably. For two dinners and drinks, it was less than $24.00 equivalent. Even if you consider the less expensive economy in Poland, it was still a very good deal. If you're staying at this castle resort hotel or visiting nearby community, I'd recommend having dinner here at least once. You won't regret it.

Dinner was okay mine was great but my Boyfriends was very tough pork so he wasn't a fan buttttt breakfast made up for it. They had everything you could Imagine, cheese platers, meat platers, 9 types of juice and pancake and waffle maker. 30 types Of breads and 6 types of cream cheese. There is a bowling alley and bar in the basement with a small dance floor. Only 3 bowling lanes. Rooms are nice, but there is no fridge, air conditioning and at least my room had no bathtub. This is a clean no frills hotel with a good location. I likely won't stay here again as I'd rather try a different place.

Driving through the Polish country side was easy and scenic, even though I'ld been on a cross-Atlantic burner since yesterday. I arrive at my hotel, Hotel Ambasada, and to my surprise I am immediately impressed. This old hotel has ALL of the character. A place were you'ld expect to see noted writers traveling the world searching for inspiration to ink the next page, or a place where photographers seek background noise to enhance their muse. (That was happening when I got to my room). The girl with the pretty eastern block face looked numb while her two photographers flashed away. One dude looked disturbed that I had to actually get to my room. Sorry bro. The rooms here are cozy and take you back in time. There's also this hippy Bohemian feel to the place that meets you around every corner and mixed with local ceramic wall mounts and historic Polish pride. The vibe is a low electric hum. Comfortable and ready to come alive. The bar down stairs looks Dungeonous and is filled with the deco of generations. It's genius in flow. Back to my room, I hit the shower. Hot water, clean hot water! Washing Delta Airlines and three airports off your body is cool just saying it, but the bathrooms give off this euro feel. Get used to it. The ceramic lady on the wall watching me clean my man parts was unnerving but "Hey" when in Poland right. The rooms are clean and you can tell the staff takes pride in their hotel. My bed looks like something from 1951 and the Polish revolution. I like it. The bar tenders are super cool and Paulina introduced me to Tyskie, the local beer. After the Hawaiian pizza and a bit of writing in my journal my day is done. My home, for now.

It almost makes you feel like a noble in the days past. Now, the room is somewhat dim due to its old construction and lighting, but it gives you an excellent sleep quality with a very comfortable twin bed. The breakfast buffet was just amazing. I tried to capture it's greatness in my photos, but I don't think I was too successful. The spread covered both sides of the hallway offering very wide variety of food to satisfy anyone's taste. It was one of the most comprehensive breakfast smorgasbord I have ever experienced. This aspect alone will merit a five-star review IMHO. It also has a very good restaurant on premise. We were very fortunate to be able to have a table without a reservation on the night we arrived. We enjoyed our dining experience very much with very good food in a very pretty parlor with very attentive wait staff. If you happen to be in the area, why don't you try to stay here. It's not too far from Boleslawiec if you are going there for some pottery shopping. Highly recommended.
