Her first set of inspiration photos was really cool, but not quite what we were looking for. So we sort of started from scratch and she seemed excited to try again. Many of our emails went unanswered, but she later responded and said she had some health concerns and so wasn't able to answer email, but was doing better now. Take 2 was much closer to what we were looking for. We actually met her in person at the shop in Pittsburgh (we live in Ca) to discuss it. There were a couple of suggestions/requests we had to modify the plan. Again she seemed on board - super friendly and helpful, even offered to help out extra with non-floral design (plates, chairs, etc.). At this point, we absolutely loved her! She had a lot of unique ideas. However, after this meeting she never responded to our emails. Months went by and many emails were sent. In my last email to her, I asked fairly simply for her to just let us know if she still wanted to/was able to work with us, and that we would understand if she felt like we weren't a good fit or if she was too busy. I wrote that if I didn't hear back from her, we would assume that she wasn't going to be able to work with us. We had not paid her a cent (nor been asked to) at this point, but she had clearly put in a good amount of work preparing ideas and slides and meeting with us and such. So we were really surprised to not hear anything back from her. But about 1.5 months later without any response, we still hadn't heard back so we moved on to a different florist. What an odd experience! Great ideas, but not reliable (or maybe she is reliable if she likes you? I really have no idea, we never got any feedback from her!).

I have been a recipient of their flowers one time and a purchaser of a gift basket one time. First, my mother-in-law bought me flowers through Flowerama. On the day of the delivery, the delivery driver arrived at the correct address on the correct day. He could not get his phone app to work, so I could not sign for the flowers. He made pleasant conversation with me, and he handed over the flowers. The arrangement contained fragrant flowers, fresh berries, and a ceramic pumpkin, and it made a wonderful autumn decoration for my table. Second, I ordered a gourmet fruit basket through a national website, and Flowerama fulfilled the order. A delivery driver arrived at my house on the correct day. The fruit basket was expensive for the types and amounts of fruits and snack foods, but I think that the price was comparable to what other businesses charge.

I first met Nancy at a bridal show and was instantly attracted to her professionalism and warm personality. My mom and I didn't even consider a day of coordinator until we met Nancy. Nancy and her team were very thorough, including meeting a couple of times before my wedding and creating a spreadsheet of the timeline of our wedding festivities. She even came to our rehearsal the night before to help. On the day of the wedding, Nancy and her team were at the church and the reception venue hours before everything started to help out and make sure everything was being executed as planned.
