I don't know if the venue or the wedding party paid to bring in giant water cooler fans (2 of them) which helped a little. As a guest I thought I was going to pass out. For this particular wedding they opted to have a food truck which was outside and partially under a shaded area. I did not see if they would be able to have food catered. If so I'd go casual and BBQ route. The restrooms were very nice and super clean thank goodness. The property itself is extremely secluded and off the beaten path. If that's what you want then go for it. The staff of the property seemed very slim to none and they did not seem to offer the usual wedding type assistance that I'm familiar with. Maybe this was based upon the type of package our wedding party purchased I don't know. Most of the traditional aspects of what you'd see for a schedule of events at a wedding did not occur. My husband was even interested in everything that we learned. We had lots of questions and Caz answered them. The man who works on the farm was so kind to bring out some fresh lavender for us to have. Thank You! We took a self guided tour of the loofas. Fascinating. I had fun shopping in the store. There were so many different items for sale. I got some fun gifts for my girlfriends back in San Diego. First thing is we paid "extra" for the guest book which was a $100 add on. It was absolutely disappointing and frustrating and a complete waste of money. It was something my 4 year old could have put together and it didn't even include all of the photos that were taken. It was random photos and so unorganized and scribbles. The owner ranted and raved over how amazing it was and it was beyond disappointing my husband literally threw it in the closet out of sight. Second we called after a week to see where our disc was for all of the images and she did not even have my contact number or address to send my stuff to me, which in my opinion is unprofessional. So she told me that she would mail it first thing in the morning. I waited a week and still nothing so I called her again. No answer so I left a message. Still didn't hear back from her so I called again. She was on a vacation and said that she would call me as soon as she got home to get the correct information. Still no word a week after that so I called her AGAIN. she claimed she mailed it the day before and its on its way. So I waited another week and still NOT A THING. So I called AGAIN and she sounded extremely frustrated with me and I told her I had been nothing but patient but in my opinion that was extremely unprofessional and that she needed to take care of her clients. She couldn't even find my contract and not one time did she ever call to check up to make sure I had received anything. Over a month of 3 "mailed" packages which none came to me finally after complaining and calling time and time again she mailed the disc for the "4th" time. I finally received it. I wish I could give this place zero stars. For the amount of money we paid for this setup I wish I would have paid my photographer to stay longer and take pictures. all the pictures were bad quality and honestly I just wish the owner would take responsibility. If she forgot to mail them no big deal just use communication. I had 4 people interested in her Photo Booth after my wedding and sadly they are taking their business else where because of this situation. None of them want to deal with the headache. Please whatever you do, do you research before hiring them and find another Photo Booth that can take care of you and communicates to you.
