Since its opening The BLVD has delivered in bringing fun entertainment in a safe space for everyone in the area. My son has gone a few times with friends, I've met up friends for drinks as well. Each visit always better than the last. Recently dropped in for a lunch with my mom. She had heard good things about their fish and chips so she had to find out for herself. I can attest to the hype. These fish and chips have a crispy batter. Nice fries too. I'd order them again. The highlight here was their sliders. They added caramelized onions along with a Big Mac inspired sauce. These were bomb. Craving some more just writing this review. We were able to take advantage of the lunch specials. So for the fish and chips, pick two combo of sliders and a garden salad, and three beers our lunch total came out to $44. Pretty fair if you ask me. My family and I love bowling so I was really excited to check out The BLVD a few weeks ago for a birthday party. The BLVD is located in West Sacramento and had plenty of parking spaces out front. Our friends rented out a semi private room for all of us to bowl - the private room had about 8 bowling lanes plus a pool table. There were also comfy couches and chairs to sit in. There were pizzas and French fries for everyone that were pretty decent, plus drinks! Besides bowling, The BLVD also has a massive arcade and laser tag. We didn't check out any games or laser tag during our visit, but they had a ton of games that looked really fun! Some I had never even seen before! While I was walking around looking for the bathrooms, I also saw a large bar area with every alcohol imaginable. The BLVD was the venue for my kid's 10th birthday and it did not disappoint! I chose this venue because it had the standard kid entertainment: Laser Tag, Arcade Games, and Bowling. It hasn't been crowded the handful of times we've been there, so that was a plus. I hate crowded venues where the kids are waiting in line too long. The biggest draw for me was that there is a full bar and restaurant for all the parents. I chose this so that they wouldn't feel awkward if they wanted to stay, but not necessarily mingle with the whole party or felt forced to socialize for two hours. There is so much seating that people can choose from or just hang out. I booked my event with Seneca - who was very accommodating and helped with all of my questions and contract information. We were placed in the Delta room to accommodate 20 kids and about 10 adults. I pre-ordered pizza, wings, and nachos for the event. My package included Laser tag, bowling, and the arcade games for about $1,800 (with tax and tip). You have to pay half the contract amount to reserve the room. You pay the remaining balance after your party has concluded. The day of, my host Dylan and servers, Jaz and Latasha were incredibly helpful. I came 30 minutes early to decorate and they let me do my thing and even tried to help. They brought the food, drinks, and after we left the Delta room, moved all our stuff to the VIP Bowling area. I didn't have to do much because they assisted with everything. I am thankful I chose the BLVD for this party. All the kids had an amazing time. Had a blast at the BLVD! Recently discovered this gem and 6 year old can't wait to go back. Alot of fun game, the food was great. We went on a saturday night and it wasnt too crowded. The staff were incredibly nice with great customer service. They have private party rooms with private bowling lanes that would be a perfect spot for a birthday or corporate team building event. We cant wait to go back! Best part is its family owned compared to corporate places we usually go. It was an easy 30 min drive from Solano County. They also just finished an outdoor patio. Came to the Blvd today with my family and had a great time. Here are my favorite things, we loved that they provide a basket for all the shoes. Also love you can order all food and drinks from the tablet. Was a little confusing when ordering a salad as it had the option no dressing and then extra dressing but for 0.75, so I put no dressing thinking the standard would come out but it didn't. I feel like the arcade cards last long! We played so many games with the icee game being MY FAVORITE!! Things that weren't great was about 4pm on Saturday it was getting crowded by the front door. This is a really cool spot to have in the community. It reminds me a lot of Round1 but a smaller and less chain version. There's a bowling alley, a lot of arcade games, and laser tag. It also has a full restaurant and bar inside which is nice to give you some sustenance while you are busy doing all sorts of games. My only issue with this place is the size. Granted, it's a pretty large venue already but it should be bigger or more spaced out. On weekends this place gets PACKED. Almost to the point where it is hard to walk through to get to your lane or game. The games feel very compact and basically on each other. The food was decent, not the best burger and pizza I've ever had but still solid. The guacamole was a surprise banger. I'd say expect to walk out of here for about $25 a person to get some food or drinks. The bowling and laser tag are a bit steep but that's just how the economy is in 2026. 5/5 for the kids games , laser tag, and bowling area. My kids had so much fun. As for prizes, it's almost impossible to get. You need to play at least 1k to get any prizes. 3/5 for the food. I liked the club sandwich, but the wings and pizza were very Digiorno warm in the oven type of thing. We had my daughters birthday here and she had a blast, but I wish they had little areas for the kids to purchase food and drink. Service was kind despite the big screens not working . Sometimes when a newer spot opens and has all the elements you want you just assume it'll be the best place ever and it'll become your new favorite spot. This place has everything. Decently large arcade with lots of good game selection. Full service restaurant and bar with sit down area. Laser tag. Pool tables. Nice bowling lanes with comfy roomy seating. So why the bad review?? Unfortunately my night with a friend here was just one mishap after the other. Despite all the issues we had a blast and laughed it off. And very employee we interacted with was kind and trying to dissolve the issues. But let me begin. First off we made a reservation for 9:30pm, we got there at 9pm and checked in. Wasn't ready yet no biggie. We check back in at 9:30pm and still not ready. They said someone was cleaning the area and we had to wait another 15 mins. When we got to the area it was still messy with food and stuff all over the floor and a guy walking up just as we sat down to start sweeping. Then rolls around 10pm and we wanted to take advantage of the deal with the 10pm to close "panic hour" which is half off draft beers and well cocktails. We figure we will get it once the server stops by. Sadly a server never stops by. We call to "request service" three different times on our pad and they never came. So i just walk over to the bar and figure I'll order there. When i get to the bar I mentioned the deal and the server said no they don't have that it's been discontinued. And I'm confused and thinking wait what? (Mind you there is signage for it all over the place, and on the website, AND in the menus at the bar which I point out) the server was really kind and confused and I could tell he genuinely did not know about this deal or it still being a thing? Whole time he's helping me he said he will honor it but has to get approval from a manager. It takes me 15 mins to get two drinks and get my order rung up. When he took my card he was gone for over 5 mins to get my check from the manager. And mind you I let him know a server never came to our section and he said he would let someone know to come by and... nobody came by. The entire hour we bowled. And the biggest mishap was the bowling pins. Me and my friend were at lane 13 and I'll be honest. We are pretty average with bowling. We get a gutter ball for a few frames then after practice get better. So it took some time for us to notice that the whole time we were playing it was adding pins we knocked over and then not giving us credit for our spares!! For literally almost every frame. Me and my friend were just busting out laughing about the whole situation. Whole time we got maybe 4 spares each and it said every time we only knocked over 9 - my friend got one strike, never registered she made all 10 down said she only got 9. Was excited to come check out this new hangout spot, and it was nice and new but overall pretty small, and was just disappointed by the service! I showed up a few mins early for our bowling lane reservation under my brother in law's name. The girl at the counter seemed clueless and told me she wasn't sure if our lanes were ready yet and just stared at me. Didn't bother to look it up, ask around, nothing! The workers showed zero motivation or initiative. When we finally did get checked in by someone else, another girl just didn't have any common sense at all - I told her we would need at least 3 lighter bowling balls for the kids so she went to grab them behind the counter and handed them to me one by one. I have no idea how she thought I was going to carry all three, with a bin of shoes, AND walk my kids over to the bowling lanes!? So strange. The bowling area itself is nice but again pretty small, so make sure to reserve if you have a big party. The seating areas were nice with couch seating. But the screens to setup games were so confusing. They have so many options and all we wanted was a simple game! And there was nowhere to select bumpers for certain players like other bowling alleys have. This was formally the Safeway on Jefferson. Came here a few weeks ago for a Friday work luncheon. Chose it because it was new, close, reasonably priced and it could accommodate the ten of us without much of a wait as it seemed more of a night and weekend place. Half of it is ticket games for kids and small bowling alley. The other half is a bar/grill dining area. As expected it was loud even with no kids playing there. We walk in at 1130 and it is cold inside. We sat towards the back near the roll up doors. I thought it would warm up but it never did by the time we left two hours later. Everyone was rubbing their hands together trying to warm up. Food selection is what you would expect... burgers, sandwiches, salad, chicken strips. They have a good lunch special of half sandwich with a side for $15. Prices are reasonable. Main sandwiches come with fries for $18. Food was slightly better than expected for the atmosphere but incredibly SLOW. We were about the only ones there besides a table of 2. Food took a long time and service was non-existent as in I rarely ever saw him. You'd think being a large party, means higher tips that you would be more attentive? I walked through the entertainment part and the prize store was very empty in the lower ticket spots. There is ZERO video games that don't earn tickets so no pinball or things to play for fun. So its a kids casino spending money to earn prizes. There are private rooms where you could do a kids birthday party but awfully small. There is one that has private bowling alley so that could be fun for a group or family but have no idea the cost. Overall not impressed for a new spot. Seems cold and disjointed. Had a blast @ BLVD! I've been to other BLVD locations in San Jose, so I'm glad to finally have one closer to home. Located in the old Safeway building in west Sacramento, this huge 37,000+ sq. ft. space includes immersive bowling, 65+ arcade & VR games, laser tag, billiards, and massive sports screens. We arrived hungry so of course our first stop was to check out the restaurant section on the west end of the establishment. The eating area has plenty of seating for larger gatherings with family and friends or for you and your date at the full service bar. With happy hour, lunch and dinner menu, there are lots of choices for food and refreshments. We ordered salad, burgers, boneless wings and pizza. Food was solid and pricey, but this top notch experience is worth the price in my opinion. Service at both the eating area and front register were fast, friendly and helpful. We purchased and loaded our cards to play at the arcade. The asphalt moto blitz and skee-ball were my favorite games to play! Bowling was extra fun as they offer different type of bowling games like they do at Top Golf. We chose Angry Birds to switch it up. We couldn't stop laughing and drinking and eating. This was my first time at The BLVD, but it definitely won't be my last. What a fun spot! Bowling, games, a great bar, and plenty of food and drink options. The staff was super friendly and helpful, and the whole place was clean and well kept. We had a blast bowling, especially on the Spark lanes they added a really fun twist. That said, the price for those lanes felt a little steep. Now for the food, starting strong with the fries. Absolute bomb. Perfectly seasoned, great portion, and seriously delicious. The pretzel with cheese sauce was just okay, nothing wild. The chips and dips....Total letdown. Bland, no real flavor, and just not it. The drinks were a mixed bag. My first one was a fruity blended something or other that looked better than it tasted. Wouldn't get that one again. But my second drink, the BLVD Tea? Loved it. We had our team building event at The Blvd and it was such a great experience! It was everyone's first time here, and we had a blast. Our host Ana was amazing, super friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed. The service was exceptional from start to finish. Naturally, we started bouncing from game to game like two grown children. For the record, I won most of them. I will not apologize. Then we hopped over to the bowling lanes for some Sparks Bowling. Came here a few weeks ago to celebrate a birthday. While I am really happy that West Sacramento has an option for family entertainment, there is definitely room for improvement. The positives, the staff is really great. I don't remember my waiters name, but he was really nice and attentive. Another positive is the food comes out relatively quickly. While the space isn't as big as I assumed, there's enough inside to keep your family entertained. There's arcade games and lanes for bowling. I also ordered a raspberry lemon drop that was really delicious. Hands down the best drink I ordered that night. Lots of seating inside as well as on the patio. There also appears to be a secluded space for private parties. Now for what needs improvements. While the raspberry lemon drop was good, the Kings inspired drink was not. Neither my husband nor I liked it, so it pretty much went to waste. The Mrs PacMan is pretty decent. The food as others have stated is mediocre and definitely not worth the cost. I was shocked when the Nacho Stack was brought to our table. It was so small! The loaded fries were also small. I will say the meat that came on them was delicious! The wings were pretty good too. Lastly, if you are going to be sitting at the tables to eat I highly recommend bringing a jacket. It gets super cold over there due to the roll up door that leads to the patio being up. Well, so much for ordering kids food early to feed them first. Ordered food and it took over 45 min for them to bring out kids food then when they did it was the wrong order and we had to ask 3 additional times where the right order was and still they never brought it out. We spoke to a manager and even the manager was just like "I'll make sure it gets taken off the order". (Didn't even try to rush order it) The waitress came over later and said she accidentally keyed in the wrong thing. All of us finished our meals and the kids drinks finally came out when we were about to leave. We ordered a passion fruit margarita (forgot the name of it), but it was not good. Server said she was going to have to charge us to make a new one. Had to ask several times for waters too. I get that people get busy but this waitress was just beyond spaced. We ordered two kids meals, which came with drinks and she still charged us $2 bucks for a kids milk I realized this after we left though. Also, we were with another family and she told us we couldn't have our own checks so we ended up just putting it all on one and then splitting it later. Now I know why they did this , because if we split it up then she wouldn't get her automatic 18% gratuity (which she clearly didn't deserve). I'm sorry but a gratuity is not mandatory, it needs to be earned and if you aren't even brining my kids meals or drinks out, you don't earn that 18% tip. read more

We were going to attend a WUSD School Board meeting so we planned to have dinner before. One of us had been to The Blvd the week before for her daughter's Dia-versary (anniversary of Diabetes diagnosis) so she suggested we go there. The biggest allure was the $2 off all "Share-ables" from 3-6 PM. I got there early and easily found a booth/table. The energy is buzzing as it's an arcade/bowling alley/restaurant/laser tag/hang-out. I sat myself at a table and the server came over immediately to offer me water. I told him I was waiting for 2 others and he brought me menus. Once the other 2 girls arrived we looked over the menu and decided on BACON JALAPEÑO WONTONS, WILD FRIES (with asada and cheese), FRIED PICKLES and CLASSIC SLIDERS. The WONTONS were great, but they were really small. The WILD FRIES were too soggy for my liking, but the ones that were crispy were good. The FRIED PICKLES tasted like sweet pickles instead of dill pickles, so that was a little off-putting, but we still ate them. The SLIDERS were our favorite. The facility is clean and bright and open. There aren't any classic arcade games, so that's kind of a bummer. The bowling alley is bigger than I thought it was. You can opt for an "immersive" experience, but it's more expensive and it's not ALL that amazing. There is a Laser Tag area that looks like it could be fun (up to 28 can play at a time). There is a VIP area with a few private bowling lanes that can be rented out. We met the Event Coordinator (Seneca) who was very welcoming and helpful. Definitely need to come back because our first experience there was pretty bad. It was awhile back when they first opened, and of course there are some kinks here and there that a new business needs to work out. But waiting 2 hours for food and seeing a bunch of servers just sitting around doing nothing? Not to mention that the food was mediocre at best, even though shortly before they were on the news touting their upscale dining entrees? Yeah I think not. The game selection was cool. The redemption for prizes was okay, but worth the money spent? Debatable. Probably a better redemption rate at Round 1 or Dave and Busters. It was New Years day in the afternoon. They had 1 cashier and a long line. The cashier was super friendly and useful at explaining how to buy everything and. Waiting times. *Bowling was a 2 hrs wait!! They put you on a wait list then text you when a lane opens up. They also have a private bowling room you can reserve ahead of time for events or bdays. We got the text 2hrs and 20 minutes after that a lane had opened. So quite a wait. Next we got a card for $25 dollars ($30value) for credits for the games. $2.00 activation fee per card. All the video games are new and varie from 5-12 credits per games. Lots of the games are really fun and win you tickets that are displayed at the end of each game. You just tap your card before every game and it will deduct credits and tell you how much you have left. Besides the ski ball there are no old school games. Most are new but very fun. Also air hockey and some claw games. The place is huge. With bar and restaurant. The -1 star was because they had 1 guy servicing the bar and 1 as a waiter. You can sit at the bar or table or have food taken to the bowling area. We (and other people) waited more than 15 minutes for service and no one came. So we opted not to eat or drink. We just played the games. They needed more staff no doubt. The little store with prizes is also cute with a variety of Nick Nacks you can trade in your tickets for. Gotta come back to try food and drinks. They have burgers, saladas and pizza as well as appetizers. Place was clean with lots of parking. We started at the eating area and overall would give 3.5 because the drinks were good and the food was average- but obviously the reason to go here I think isn't really really the food. We came here to have multigenerational ability to hang out. Some folks in the sports bar area, drinks, bar food and lots of video games. The place seemed really clean. My daughter wanted to go to an arcade so we brought her here. They have a few variety selections of games. They have a bar food bowling. The atmosphere was clean and welcoming. Dustin was serving us some drinks at the bar which were delicious. I had the Paloma fresco which was really good. I think I had three. My daughter ended up getting hungry. I've visited the BLVD in Bakersfield a few times and was delighted to learn they were expanding to the Sacramento area. Attended a sneaker bowl party in one of the private rooms and had a wonderful time. Dinner was included in the space rental (sliders, fries, pizza, salad, sodas, water). Most people don't brag about salads but the garden salad was delish! The ranch tasted house made and we kept a line...at the salad! The staff was lovely and accommodating. The hosts were professional, friendly, and meant above and beyond to make the celebration perfect. We came here for a team builder on Friday night and decided to check it out since it's new in the area. The place is huge and well lit, and we booked a VIP room with their $45 per person party package. It included an event host (Anna), an hour in the private room, an hour of bowling in a reserved area, and a $15 gift card per person. The food package came with four pizzas, a big tray of fries, twenty wings, and a few soda pitchers for our group of fifteen. The pizza and fries weren't that great , but the wings ran out quickly since it was only 20 pieces , so we had to order more on the side. For a party package deal we did, I'd suggest offering more wings in that deal because that wasn't nearly enough for our party. Things started feeling a little unorganized after that. Our food came out later than expected, and our bowling time got delayed almost half an hour. When we finally got to the lanes, one wasn't working at all, so half the group started while the rest waited. It took about twenty five minutes before they switched us to a working lane. Anna, our host, was nice and tried to help, but she wasn't around as much as we needed, and I found myself flagging down other staff to get her attention a few times. The arcade area was a lot of fun and definitely a highlight of the night, but overall the experience just didn't live up to the price or the party package expectations. I really wanted to like this place, but between the delays, mix ups, and service issues, it wasn't the smooth night we hoped for. Maybe they're still working out some kinks since they're new, but for now, I'd probably stick with Dave & Buster's next time. read more

We had been here a few times before and loved it so we planned a meetup for our son's birthday. The whole experience was 10/10! We ordered drinks and appetizers. Everything was great- def recommend the bone-in wings. Decent beer selection and quick service. Esther was our server and she was the best! She had great recommendations and communicated about the large party gratuity (we tipped her more because she was just that good!) We did laser tag and arcade games and the kids had a blast! Laser tag with the whole crew was the absolute best part! Citlaly was the host on the restaurant side, and also our guide for laser tag. She was so sweet and handled our rowdy group super well. One final shout out to manager Shane for his attention to detail and making sure everyone had a good experixed. We would absolutely return for another party! Had a great night with family on Saturday September 27th.. Wasnt too packed. We started by eating at their restaurant. Burgers were amazing and alcohol beverages were perfectly made. We wanted to bowl but it was an hour wait so we put our name on the list and played at the arcade while we waited. Was a cool little arcade just wish they had more games but it was decent size. We were bowling and decided on shots so we ordered 2 shots and 2 drinks that was $80 the shots were really small for the price. I will never order a shot here again at $20 each i thought they'd be the size of most bars i believe its a double shot u usually get at the bar wen u order anywhere else but I felt ripped off after I seen the shots. All and all the place was fun, clean and we will definitely come back. The service was good too. read more

Well my coworker friends came for some after work wind down time.. We ordered some delicious shareable's and drinks from Amber our server, as she was looking to serve people in the bowling area. There was an issue with the Happy Hour charge .. we were soon assisted by Aonnie who quickly came and explained the issue and took care of the problem. Decided to go here with a few family members for my son's 3rd birthday and was disappointed that the lane #6 had no oil and our lanes program was glitching. The angry birds theme did not allow us to see anyone's score and would skip a player only allowing them to bowl once at times. The manager was very catering and tried to remedy the situation by switching us to lane #5 and giving us more time. But lane #5 was also not oiled. All in all, the food was fantastic! Went to the Blvd for lunch today and to check out the offerings. Food and decor are outstanding. It's a nice addition to a city that's lacking food options. I booked a private party through the website for work. It was easy and seemed a good value. When arriving we had a large party room with tables and chairs that was clean and not overly decorated. They did have music going and we asked to lower the music since it was loud and the kids i had coming needed less stimulation. After our hour was done it that room we went to the VIP lounge for private bowling lanes that also allowed us to lower the volume on the music. The party host we had was amazing! got us everything we needed and more. If you have kids who need some accommodating this would be a great spot to choose for a party. It is loud when you walk in due to the video games but once in the rooms you couldn't hear any of it! read more
