Alfredo is an honest and genuine person who truly cares about offering the best service to his customers. There are not many businesses around like this anymore. Alfredo gave me excellent advice for an issue with my sons 328i, he looked up details on the car and informed us there was a BMW extension to the warranty for that issue and recommended we took it to the main dealer. The dealer fixed the problem under the warranty extension at no charge to us. Alfredo did not charge us for the time he spent going over the details with us, and more importantly he didn't attempt to fix the problem himself to get the job. He diagnosed an issue with my car and unfortunately it was something only the main dealer could do. Alfredo did not charge for diagnosing the issue and spent quite some time showing it to me with the car up on the rack. Finally I had a pretty serious failure with an engine part on my car, Alfredo had warned me prior that this could be an issue. He repaired the car with all BMW factory parts to a very high standard and kept me informed throughout the repair. It was clear that Alfredo does not take short cuts and does things correctly. He is extremely ethical, knowledgeable and takes pride in carrying out his work to the highest standards. I highly recommend him. read more

Where do I even start with my review? Alfredo answered the phone at the time they closed, spent 45 minutes on the phone with me, ensuring I did everything on my end with a misfire in a 2004 645ci BMW. The call started with me trying to coordinate getting it towed from Temecula to San Marcos. Alfredo asked what was going on. A misfire that won't correct. I knew enough to change the plugs, then the coil on the missing cylinder--which I did. Still, misfire and rough idle. He asked me what bank cylinder was on, described that most likely it was mechanical issue not a computer issue--which was a relief--and then asked me where I got the parts, and what parts I used. He described that even he has had issues with parts that albeit new, may not correct the problem, or they do, but can be temperamental. I reviewed the parts with him, and things I found odd (correct parts, but different gaps etc), so he told me to walk him through what parts I was told match with the BMW from the local auto store. He told me to go with Bosch for the coil and gave me another plug part number since the one I was given was 1 prong not 3 prong. I ordered them, it took a few days, and then I installed. DONE! Amazing relief. Car purrs like a kitten, I've put almost 1000 miles on it since and ZERO problem, no matter the speed. Alfredo is a true diagnostician. He put me first, instead of making a quick buck. He answered the phone at closing time and spent 45 minutes on the phone addressing my concerns because he truly cares about BMW's and his client. Ladies--I'm you--a girl--and I've been raked over the coals with Sterling BMW and Eurosports with double charging or not getting my permission for services performed, or just not fixing the problem and paying, but having to re-spend to get something fixed. Now, I know exactly where I'm going when more serious problems present. The reviews on this page caused me to call Alfredo--and these reviews are not kidding! He is trusted. He is incredibly knowledgeable, and if you have a BMW, go to Alfredo--which has 27 plus years training and experience on BMW's--it shows. These "Euro" car places do other cars including BMW--and don't go there--go to a BMW specialist. With Alfredo, you have a true master technician/diagnostician and mechanic--and someone that LOVES his craft. Recommend without any doubt. You can't go wrong. I am glad to finally find a mechanic who truly helps me with my car. Alfredo is not in this business just to make a quick buck! He will advise you on how to fix your problems on a low budget. I had the catalytic converters failing and 2 separate mechanics (one of them was a BMW dealer) told me to get rid of my vehicle and buy a new car. On the contrary, Alfredo advised to use the SULEV warranty - very few people know that some vehicles are covered up to 150,000 miles in the state of California. We had an issue with our BMW 528i. It was diagnosed as a $2K+ issue by another local shop. I got in touch with Alfredo to get his take and he brought it to my attention that the issue should be covered under the warranty. I took it to BMW and it was an warranty issue - turned out to be more involved and a $6K - $7K. I am so happy I got in touch with Alfredo and I highly recommend. Some coils and spark plugs went down over the weekend we were out of town (in Carlsbad). It was close to 9pm and we randomly found this guy on yelp. He was willing to make a house call with some diagnostic tools to solve our problem. He figured out that this particular issue was still under warranty and recommended to take it the next morning to the nearest dealership to get work done. Can you believe that?! He could have easily just fixed it, charged, us, and sent us on our way. We had Alfredo check out a used 15-year-old BMW before my son bought it to make sure it was in good running order. He did a thorough check on it, and we trust him, so my son bought the car. My son has needed very little repairs on the car, but for tuneups and oil changes, we always bring our BMWs to Alfredo. He is reasonable, trustworthy, and communicates everything that he does, and get back to you in a timely manner. He never upsells nor adds unnecessary, expensive services. If you go in for a change of your wipers, he changes them and doesn't recommendable new brakes as an additional service that you have to have done immediately or else you will die. So many other garages and dealerships do this, when in reality, most of the time the services are unnecessary. But he does make sure your vehicle is safe even if you're only getting an oil change. He even has loaner cars! What other garage has that? Plus, he doesn't charge for diagnosis if you're getting work done with him. Best of all, his work is guaranteed! Alfredo worked with BMW dealerships for over 20 years and understands the business & really knows BMWs, that's why he is half the price! I absolutely recommend him to all my friends with BMW's especially as he is much more reasonable and honest than many dealerships. read more

I want to let everyone know what an honest and knowledgeable businessman Alfredo is. I got a quote for a check engine light diagnostic for my BMW from a foreign car repair shop in Encinitas, for $3770, telling me I needed a new camshaft, actuator and valve cover. A friend recommended that I speak to Alfredo. Over the phone Alfredo told me about a SULEV engine extended warranty that BMW have and that the work might possibly be done for FREE by BMW themselves and to take it to BMW for a diagnostic. I did so - and they found that the electric harness was chewed through in places by rodents and unfortunately was not covered by the warranty but would only cost $645 to repair compared to the $3770 quote I was given by the foreign car repair shop in Encinitas. If it had not been for the knowledge, honesty and integrity of Alfredo - I may well have been 'robbed' of $3770. My 2004 BMW broke done and I had the car towed to my home.. I called Alfredo and within a 1/2 hour he was at my home. He took one look at the car and informed me that there was some sort of warranty on the car and I should go to BMW and get it fixed for nothing . Who does that!!
