We started by sharing a couple of entrees, the pork belly which was served with a quince sauce, and the porcini and béarnaise croquettes which matched perfectly with the capers served with them. We followed with a couple of pizzas, the ham, mushroom, olive and red onion for me and the hot salami for Liz - we were warned that the salami one was hot but the balance was perfect, just a slight chilli aftertaste that did not leave a burning sensation in the mouth. We only ate half the pizzas (they boxed up the rest and we'll have them for supper tonight) as we wanted to make sure we had room for dessert. And what beautiful desserts they were! I had the limoncello pannacotta whilst Liz had the tiramisu - the menu suggested that the tiramisu was deconstructed, but the waitress made sure we knew that before accepting the order - and both desserts were absolutely heavenly. We finished up with a glass of limoncello each and an espresso, and walked out very well satisfied clutching our pizza box for supper. Cost? It's a family run business, and I had Dom, his wife and daughter bring me my meal on this morning. The staff are all super friendly. Meals are all delicious, and great sizes; you won't come away hungry. On a nice day they can open up the bay windows and you get the beautiful sea breeze In the more inclement weather, it's nice to sit safely ensconced inside, nurse a hot chocolate and look out at the weather. Over all, great place to eat at any time of the day, with a great view.

It's actually a 2 part dish of smoked duck breast and a confit duck leg with quince jus. If I remember what I was told correctly, the Sous Chef spent 14 weeks perfecting the jus, which is a reduced wine dressing served separately that you drizzle over the duck as you go. It was like heaven on the tongue, and nearly melted in my mouth. Robbie, the Maitrè de, advised the perfect wines to accompany it. I'll be going back, and taking friends!
