From my panic call to his reception at 9.30 am in the morning to leaving his garage later that same day the service I received was first class. My telephone enquiry was dealt with speedily and on my arrival a few hours later (I dont live particularly close) I was greeted by someone in the know and was able to leave my car for inspection regarding the problem. I spent an hour or so enjoying lunch in town to then receive a call with both an update and a time to pick up my car. The cost, time and service were outstanding! I would thoroughly recommend this team, they are all very friendly and certainly the impression I got watching them speaking with other customers is that this level of customer service is the norm, how lucky for us all. I would recommend 100% to any other car driver!

I realise also that during an MOT you can expect to pay a certain amount of money, I don't have a problem with this. However if I had gone to Alan Day VW on Finchley road my bill would have been half what I have paid today. only a few miles away. When asked why they couldn't price match they said 'we are only a small business and not very busy' I'm not sure this is a valid reason to hike up the prices and overcharge customers. I feel completely scammed, if I hadn't had my Dad double check what they were asking for (I'm 30 just not very car savvy) I would have paid £750 for a cam belt, rather than £450 at Alan Day VW on Finchley road. Please don't make my mistake, shop around, go to a garage that actually values you as a customer rather than trying to get every penny out of you that they can. its not worth the one star I've given it.

My normal garage said I had to get my car to them; how? I had used an associate company of CB Motors years ago and when I contacted them they sent CB Motors to help me. CB Motors did a good job and returned the car to my road when it was finished. Only one slight problem, they returned my keys to the wrong house but quickly discovered the mistake. They retrieved the keys and brought them to me and handed them over in person quite late at night. So I have been back there ever since.

As it happened the particular item I needed was no longer available, but the chap in the shop made one up for me to fit and didn't charge me for labour. The shop is not particularly clean and shiny, but it's what you expect from this type of place. And at least they are helpful, know their stuff and don't try to rip you off if they think you don't know any better!

Turning up and seeing taxis waiting for works seemed a good sign and I think it was. The car passed its MOT with a list of recommendations I cant argue with. The owner ran through what I need to do and when and said to do it in pieces as and when I can afford it, zero pressure. Nice guy, seems genuine and honest - wish id used him all along and not Kwik Fit. Very good opening hours, polite and knows his stuff. On a selfish note I hope others keep using him so he remains open so I can keep using him!

I went to Taj Quick Fit Hounslow a Week ago and the MOT Tester really p***** me off when he Took…read morealmost 2 Hours to check my Car and at the end it failed the MOT and tried hard to force me to do the repairs from their own Mechanics Who gave me a total of £350 quotation which Included changing of rear fog light bulbs for (£25 plus VAT). Next day I went to another MOT Station Nearby and the guy put the Bulb and re tested the MOT without any problem and charged me £5 for the Fog Light Bulb. All I say is these Peoples in Hounslow are really crooks they try their best to convince peoples that their cars had serious peoblem and need repairs from their own Workshop which is totally a Scam.
Went here to get my car's MOT done, they charged £35 which…read morewas a good price and told me that I needed to have my front two tyre replaced and they can do this for me at an additional charge. the mechanic who was completing my cars MOT was very polite and told me that he will put on the new tyres before performing the MOT, the waiting area/reception is a bit dreary and can do with a bit of modernising and the MOT did take longer than expected, but I was able to work out a good deal with the price of the MOT and two new tyres. Overall a good quality job was done and as an added bonus my front two alloy wheels had been cleaned. Highly recommend Taj Quick Fit.
