They've closed the basement level and are sorting through the large inventory, curating what's on the shelves, and selling most of the used books for only $1-2 apiece. There's no longer a cat there, which is a little sad, but it does feel like a healthier environment and no longer a deterrent for folks with a cat allergy. I'm excited to see what's ahead for this friendly local business.

He loved looking through the books to find something he would enjoy. The lady at the front desk was also very helpful helping us navigate the store and sections. Kids books were about $2 and other books varied in price but all seemed reasonable for good condition books.

The store is clean and has an organized feel you don't often find in book stores. As their name suggests, they also have an impressive selection of handmade goods that would make a perfect gift for anyone in your social circles. I had a lot of fun chatting with the owner as well. Even though I popped in right before closing, I didn't feel rushed out or like I was an imposition (which I was, oops). While some of the items are a few dollars more than what you would pay on amazon, the experience and the atmosphere are more than worth the spend. And the chance to support and local business that enhances the community is absolutely priceless. PS.
