First time checking out this place and it was very kewl. You walk in and there are tables and booths in various stations of the restaurant. TVs placed everywhere and lots of soccer memorabilia. You can also purchase merchandise. There is a full bar towards the side with more seating and TVs. I ordered a burger with fries, which was good even though they missed the bacon I had ordered with it. A chicken sandwich and a hot dog, both with fries and some chicken wings. The wings had a smoky flavor to them. Very different to anything I had tried before. My kiddo did not like her hot dog. Unfortunately, I did not try it so can't comment on it. You order at the checkout counter and they give you a number then you seat. They bring the food to you once ready. The place had arcades so it was great for kids and even had seating outdoors if you want to get away from the noise. Very kewl spot. Would love to check it out for a soccer match without the kiddos.

Vegan Burger with Pimento Macaroni and Cheese. It comes with 1 pickle, the other was my mom's.

I ordered a vegan burger with Pimento cheese Macaron andi cheese, the French onion dip and the Grilled Nutella. If this restaurant has one flaw, it's the lack of flavor. The burger was good, but I added my own flavoring at home. The chips are great, but the dip has absolutely no flavor at all. We could not figure out how to save that and ended up trashing the dip. The mac was really good, but you cannot taste the paminto cheese. The grilled Nutella was delicious! My mom, got a burger with tater tots. She told me it was good, but didn't have much flavor either. This was a solid 3.5 stars!

Yummy food + fun, casual atmosphere! During my most recent visit we had a group of 7 of us and sat in the front area - if you keep walking towards the back they have lots of different sections. My Carolina Cobb salad was great! You just order at the counter, grab a number, and they bring your food to your table. I also like how you can go right into BeerStudy next door to find a fun drink!

A super solid pub-style eatery connected to Beer Study with great service, great food, and a vibe that makes me want to stay all day and watch soccer. Menu has options for all sorts of dietary restrictions and preferences without making you feel like you have limited options, which is always a plus, and in addition to their cans and bottles, you can always walk through the threshold to order a drink from Beer Study! It was honestly difficult for me to decide what to eat because there were so many great-sounding options. I was inspired to order the Virgil (fish sandwich) at the suggestion of the guy in line in front of me and I have absolutely no regrets--delicious!! Parking lot is a bit of a disaster, so definitely plan to come early if there's a game on.

I really like the atmosphere and their rustic pipe tables! Although the staff was nice, the food was mediocre at best. I had such a high hope since the ratings are great but overall the price was high, the quality is mediocre, and unfortunately their pickle basket was a bust.

Dope place with delicious food and fun vibes. They offer a variety of different food. Burgers, salads, bowls, wings and more. Staff is amazing and I love how they sell beer, wine, merch and they have a bar! Prices are reasonable and you get a lot of food. Great place for a fun date night.

I ordered mine on pressed focaccia bread and everything from the juicy crispy chicken to the parmesan cheese and toppings was top notch. Each of the flavors and textures played so well together that it's hard to stop eating after taking the first bite. Came on a Monday around 1pm and there was no line. Inside the shop was a classic deli where you order at the counter and then browse the various goods/merch while you wait. Service was fast and the sandwiches came out within 5 minutes of ordering. There are a couple picnic tables outside to sit and eat but other than that, mostly a to-go place. First timers: get the Uncle Primo's, you won't regret it!

I got half an uncle primos chicken cutlet sandwich ($11). It was a lot of food and was loaded with chicken! Even just the half sandwich was too much for me to eat at once. But if the line were shorter in the future I'd come back and try other yummies from the menu.

"Sandwich shop just off University Dr in Durham"…read more Came here for an evening dinner with a friend. We arrived around 5:45pm, and there was ample parking, but I will say the place was HOPPING by the time we left at 6:30pm. The decor is very cute-- old-style, good seating and a bar area as well. You order at the table, and food comes to you. My dining mate got the Cypriot (Halloumi, Fig, Arugula, Tomato, Pesto) with a side of curly fries, and I wasn't very hungry so I got the Beyond Meat Chicken Tenders kids meal with a side salad. I also got a delicious bottled sparkling lemonade. Service was fine-- food comes after order, but you're mostly on your own once food is delivered, as expected. We got a couple of napkins with the food, but there are more self-serve up in the counter. Just don't expect someone to check on you or anything. The food was GREAT. My dining partner loved her sandwich (commented especially on the fig spread) and fries, and I really liked my meal as well. The side salad was surprisingly delicious, especially the addition of pickled red onion. The place was clean-- I went to the restroom, too, and everything was stocked well. Price was very fair. Overall, I'd happily come back. Easy, priced well, delicious. Not a place where you get a lot of "attention", but great for a simple meal.

I discovered the garden this time around and enjoyed sitting out there for my meal. Came on a Saturday afternoon and it was not very busy. Ordered the mozzarella sticks and the chicken cutlet sandwich (regular). The sticks were amazing with the sauce! The SS which bread was so fresh and soft as was the chicken cutlet. I wish it had more sauce and a little salt pepper vinegar splash would have gone a long way. A good sandwich but the most amazing or most flavorful sandwich I've ever had. Can't stress how fresh everything tasted though and it was huge only ate half.

As you enter there is a sign that tells you to go look at the menu board, pick out your drink, and go back to the counter to order. I grabbed a diet coke, and ordered a Common Cobb. I was a bit surprise when my total came to $18, as my salad was only $14 but I guess I should have paid attention that my bottle of soda was over $3. How much are the fountain drinks, I wonder? I found us a table inside since it was a bit hot that day (there is also plenty of seating outside AND inside if you go downstairs). The table and floor were messy but someone quickly came to clean it for me. They called our names over the loudspeaker and my best friend went to go get our food. She got the MotherClucker. Our food was REALLY good. If you like Cobb salad, you will definitely like this one. The chicken was pan seared perfectly, the vinaigrette was perfectly tangy and the bleu cheese was especially excellent. My friend's chicken sandwich has SO MUCH chicken salad on it. Impressive. There was so many neat items to see in the place. The murals were great, there were some cute retail spaces, a coffee bar up front, a bar downstairs, and ice cream outside! Unfortunately my bestie and I had too much to talk about so we didn't check it out as much as I otherwise wood. I would definitely try this place again!

They make cookies, pastries, breads (pan loaf and hand-formed ones), soups, hand pies, and sandwiches. The variety is amazing. During the holiday season, they offer larger pies and have various seasonal goods to offer. But what's also wonderful is this bakery gives back to the community in many ways. During the height of the pandemic, they offered free bagged lunch to anyone who needed one. They also were (are?) part of the pilot project for Durham's guaranteed income. It looks to me that the owners/company are concerned about being good citizens of the community and that's a great thing. These days, so many companies get bought out by private equity companies. I hope this bakery continues to be locally owned and operated! (Also, generally this bakery isn't offering the very fancy European/European-ish style pastries which is fine by me. The prices are very reasonable, possibly in part because they aren't trying to make their baked goods a "high end" item. There are other good local bakeries that offer "high end" pastries, but they are also much less affordable and for my taste, too rich.)
