I was looking for someone to restore a favorite photograph taken on my honeymoon over 50 yrs ago, as it had faded badly -- to the point that this color photo appeared almost to be a black-and-white shot, and I could barely recognize the faces of me and my wife. I was not sure that it could be restored. After inspecting the photo, Mark carefully explained what he could -- and could not do -- regarding the desired restoration (the photo in question was itself a print made from the missing original long ago by another studio.) He detailed the process he would use, and the areas he would attempt to restore within the photo. I appreciated this time spent at the initial visit, so that I had realistic expectations when I left that appointment. When I picked-up the photo a short time later (less than 2 weeks), I was very pleased with the results that Mark was able to achieve -- he exceeded my expectations without a doubt! The colors were restored to their original hue, with much improved contrast, and the faded, facial details were present once again -- I could recognize our smiling faces! My wife and I are very pleased to have this restored photo once again on display, and wholeheartedly recommend Mark Madere and SpectraLight Photography for your photo restoration needs.

It's super clean and raw while still feeling cozy. The studio is located inside a large older warehouse and it's a bit of a maze to get to the actual space, but not a big deal and the directions are clear and easy. I enjoyed viewing the image of Justin Bibb and his mother, then, in October 2021, the mayoral candidate but now the Cleveland mayor who was sworn-in as mayor in January 2022. All images really showed some of the joy, hope, and struggle that many blacks in America have faced and continue to face. From the start, she provided great insight on how we could make the photos better. When the day came, we had to move locations at the last minute, and she was super flexible with whatever I decided. The second location we moved to ended up being even better, and Alicia was able to capture every moment of our proposal. We also hired her video service, and I am SO happy we did. Yep, I selected her thanks to the yelp reviews and she was amazing as our wedding photographer…read more She was very flexible; prompt; personable and professional; and was very fairly priced for 8 hours. We were indecisive on things (where to shoot in between our ceremony and our reception) and she was patient with us and offered suggestions in the weeks leading up. She even scouted our locations before our wedding so she was familiar with them. We had a small unexpected snafu that altered our schedule by 15-20 minutes and she remained calmed and helped us keep on schedule. Her contract was also very clear. We even asked her to stay an extra hour longer (obviously offered to pay her for it) an extra hour the day of our event and she obliged. The turn-around times were very quick (in our case within 6 weeks!). The online setup to view and share your photos was intuitive and also easy to download all of the photos in a batch format. This isn't a fault of her but more of a tip for y'all: make sure to get plenty of pictures of your friends and family, not just posed pictures of you and your spouse and wedding party and family!
