Bootlegger's is an atmospheric red-sauce place, great for a big group or reunion. This is the legit version of what Olive Garden is trying to sell. Our server opened by telling us the story of the owner's family and then handled a table of ten with aplomb. Don't come here for the kind of food you'd find in Italy. Expect hearty American portions of high-calorie comfort. Service begins with what amounts to a plate of decent garlic knots with marinara. The best thing on the hot mix antipasto plate is the juicy, crisp scampi. Too often this dish is just a plate of garlic butter and the shrimp are an afterthought. If I come back, I'll be ordering a plate of that. The calamari and fried ravioli were crunchy, hot, and fresh. Looking for something off the beaten path, I tried the pork neck bone appetizer for my main. The meat itself was tasty and worth the effort of digging, but the broth was so salty I couldn't eat it. It was like eating the brine from the pepperoncini jar. The bolognese had good flavor, but I found it overly rich. I tasted more cream than meat. The cannoli were the stars of the desserts. Nice crunchy shells and filling that wasn't too sweet. The tiramisu was too saturated with espresso for my taste, and the cream cake was a bit dry and lacked the citrus bite I was hoping for. Bootlegger has their formula down. It's a good choice for the right crowd.

Gone are the days of this spot being open 24/7. But it's still serving up fantastic food, great service, and fabulous ambiance. For years, as a local, this was one of my go-to spots. For date nights. For solo dining. For chilling at the bar. For family dinners. And now as a visitor, it remains one of my go-to spots. The ambiance has such an old-school Vegas vibe and charm. If the Rat Pack still existed, they'd be dining here. It's also a pretty large space. The menu is plentiful. There's lots of drinks to choose from. And the portions are significant. I haven't ever had a bad dish here. But my fav is the pappardelle bolognese. The sauce is so tasty! And instead of complimentary bread, you get garlic knots, which are so yummy. Don't miss out on dining here!

Another Vegas Icon! Great Italian Food every time! Claudia is a great server trust me on that! And this is old school Vegas at its best!

Date of visit: July 23, 2026 I love a place that I can make a reservation (Who has time to wait? In this economy?) and some friends raved about this place. Plus, it was featured in the newspaper as one of the oldest continually operating restaurants in the city. With all of my boxes checked, I also signed up for the VIP club after making the reservation and scored a free Ravioli Fritti! Hollie was our server and she had great suggestions and her support staff kept us plied with delicious pillows of garlic bread. While she was very attentive at the start, her interest in us waned after we received our food, extending the meal and while we weren't in a hurry, we could have wrapped things up much sooner. Thankfully the main courses were excellent. I am a sucker for carbonara and their Bucatini alla Carbonara was excellent! My friend had the Filet Mignon and while he wanted it cooked a bit more than it was, he didn't complain and thoroughly enjoyed it. The feel is very old school Italian, from the vinyl booths to the tablecloths and the live music. That evening it was a harpist, and we weren't close to them, which I didn't mind but it did add to the ambiance. Being close to home, I will definitely return!

Bootlegger hits every time! The service is phenomenal. We have multiple servers checking in on us every visit. The ambiance is old school Vegas, which I love. The food, wow the food. The osso buco is the best in Vegas, maybe the best I've ever had. Best bites: Osso buco - the bone marrow melting into the risotto is worth the next few days of dieting Diavolo pasta is really good The papardelle and all the fresh pasta Bootlegger is in my regular rotation, as I can't go long without another fix of their osso buco. If you've never been...I'm sorry, but go fix that

A four generation restaurant that welcomes everyone like family! I have been coming to the Bootlegger family owned restaurant for over 25 years and it is always consistent. Today for lunch I ordered the Pollo Bono Chicken Breast Topped with a Creamy Dijon Rosemary and my friend ordered the lasagna. It's fun being able to sit in their lounge booth that had been previously sat in by famous people such as Frank Sinatra, Johnny, Carson, and Marilyn Monroe. Now that would've been a party! I always come for the food, but stay for the entertainment!

Just had another amazing dinner at Bootleggers! It's always one of our favorites when we visit Vegas. We had the best service from Rhonda, she was very attentive and kept the perfect flow. We were craving grilled veggies and were so happy to see them as an actual appetizer on the menu. We started with those and then shared the iceberg wedge salad, chopped. It was so good and plenty for two. The bread rolls with the marinara sauce are always a big hit too with just the right amount of garlic and butter. For our main course we chose the chicken Marsala and the lasagna. Both were so flavorful and amazing! The Italian cream cake was the perfect light dessert to have at the end, so yummy! And having this delicious meal with live entertainment was just the icing on the cake, literally! We have dined here many times and highly recommend! The food, service and vibe is always spot on!

On suggestion of our hotel receptionist, and a free appetizer coupon, my husband and I decided to try Bootleggers as our last date-night dinner in Las Vegas! I definitely wasn't hungry enough for Italian food, but that's what he wanted. The moment we opened the door, I instantly felt underdressed! The staff was dressed to the nines in black suits! The lighting was very low and sultry. At check-in we were told that there was a 20-30 minute wait because there were reservations in front of us. I wanted to try somewhere else, but my husband was insistent on staying there. Much to our surprise, our table was actually ready in just about 10 minutes. Once seated, it took another 10-15 minutes before our waitress realized that we were seated in her section. Thankfully, the person in charge of filling water had noticed us and already filled our water glasses. There was an entertainer not too terribly far from our table that was playing piano and singing. The piano was too loud for the size of the area he was playing in. It was so hard to hear the person seated directly across from you at the same table! It became more than annoying by the end of our meal. After a few questions about the menu, I decided on bruschetta and some soup for my dinner. My husband ordered the veal plate. We both ordered our beverages. Three times the waitress brought him the wrong drink or no drink at all! When asked for the check, it was incorrect when given to us. After correcting it, it took her a while to come pick it up to run the credit card. Aside from closing duties, we couldn't figure out what she was doing. She only had 2 other tables aside from ours, at that time. The food was good! Just not sure if we'll visit Bootleggers again when we return to Las Vegas.

Been back since my last review a few times & outstanding! I got sick from the shrimp before but gave it another shot & everything has been phenomenal! Stuffed Mushrooms 5/5 perfect proportion of sausage & sauce. The Veal Lorraine 5/5 It'll be hard for me to try anything else for a while on the menu now! It is absolutely delicious! As always the bread & marinara divine! They should sell it by the jar. Ambience with the music & video poker if you just want to sit at the bar great or the dining area is superb. After coming back multiple times I have to say that I am so glad to try Bootlegger again.

I moved back to town. It was during the closures of Covid. The Las Vegas strip was like something out of the dystopian movie. During that time I had gone to bootleggers a bunch of times for to-go orders. Only part is I had never been to sit down to a dinner here until tonight. They are definitely a step down from Ferraro's and Nora's as far as upscale menu choices, but they do have a great ambience and a lot of great things on the menu. On this evening, Juan Carlos was our waiter. The service was top-notch. We started with a Caesar salad, then went into the mussels that were small, but very tasty. I went with the baked penne and she had the Pappadelle Bolognese which was the star of the night. We got dessert afterwards and everything was really good.Bootleggers lives up to the hype and once you learn the story of how it came about you will want to come too. Will be back sooner than later.

Our friend brought us for my mom's birthday, we sat in one of the historic bar booths and Brianna was our server. Knowledgeable, charismatic and friendly. The bread and tomato sauce is perfect garlic/acid balance. We did calamari and sparkling water. Our friend and I did dinner portions of lasagna, I did a salad as well, mom did the seafood fra diavolo. You come here for the ambiance, history, delicious food and service. There's no one rushing you between courses, you can just enjoy. I appreciated that til I got too comfortable and had to rush out for a client, but up until that time I was in a slow paced heaven. The calamari marinara is fabulous. They do make dressings in house and they can't be beat! In between the food, Brianna was chatty, funny and made it a wonderful experience. I've obviously eaten here before and thought I'd go lasagna. I was also looking at the baked penne but ended up making my own a couple days later. When the lasagna came out it looked almost like a steak covered in cheese! And I will say of all the times I've been, it was my least favorite. It just wasn't as flavorful or hearty as I would've liked. I love a couple inches high of noodles, cheese and sauce. On the fra diavolo, I don't think I've ever seen prawns that big!!! Brianna said it was spicy but not hot. That blurred for woman. Bc I don't do spice or heat I didn't try it. They brought her a cannoli for her birthday, nice hearty way to celebrate. Service was great, only once did I fill my own glass. Obviously I'll be back, duh. It's legendary!

I love this place! The food, the service, live music and the atmosphere is great for a date or just a meeting with friends to enjoy a drink and appetizers. Started the meal off with stuffed mushrooms (a must have). Mushrooms are cooked in a white lemon sauce which gives a great contrast to the stuffed mushrooms. Main course was Chicken Saltimbocca (sorry no pic) which was simply delicious! If you are looking for a great restaurant for a date night, then Bootleggers is for you: food, music, atmosphere with incredible service!

Excellent service by the most outstanding waiter, Juan Carlos! We have been coming to the Bootlegger for years and were disappointed to miss our Robert, but Juan Carlos gave exceptional service making us feel welcomed and valued as family. The food was amazing as usual! I had the filet, perfect! My husband had linguine with clams and red sauce and our grandson had the amazing Marsala pork chop. The Dauo Cabernet was fabulous! Background music very nice, we favor the booth seating in the bar area but highly recommend any seat in this house! Great night thanks to Juan Carlos and his team. Bruno, our English cream service dog, gives Juan Carlos and the Bootlegger team a high paw!

Ask the Community - The Bootlegger Italian Bistro

    Christmas menu available?

One of the oldest Italian restaurants in Las Vegas and its authentic Italian food but I'm not sure if they have different menu for Christmas.

Do they cross contaminate? Specifically seafood.

I'm HIGHLY ALLERGIC to shellfish among other allergens. They tool all my allergies seriously and made sure not to cross-contaminate my foods. Recommendation: I have a card that specifically lists my food allergies. It does let the restaurant/chef…

    Is there happy hour?

Does not mention happy hour on their menu, but I would call to confirm.

Is there a pet friendly patio?

Absolutely not. Keep your pet home!!!

Do they have a Happy Hour?

    No they don't -

What would you recommend from the dinner menu?

This is literally like asking a parent which one of their kids is the favorite. I've been going to The Bootlegger since back in the 80's and I haven't found anything I'd pass on eating again. My wife is partial to the Chicken Parm and no matter what…

Is there any smoking occurring near the restaurant since gaming is near by?

You can't smoke in the restaurant but you can smoke outside in the parking lot.

What time is there live music on the weekends?

If you google Bootlegger Las Vegas and go to their website it shows the music/calendar/dates did you check that first??

Can you accommodate parties of 18?

Of course they can. Ask for the private room in the next building!

I have family visiting next week, with two nieces being almost 4 y/o and 1 y/o, would this place be okay to go to?

Should be fine. Call and ask to be sure

Do we need reservations for a Tuesday night?

    No only the weekend.

Is there a cover charge for music?

    No not at all

Does the Copa Room have a dress code?

I would said cocktail dress attire. Especially if you are seeing a show, etc.

What nights is there live music?

    Friday and Saturday's 10:00pm. - 1:00am.

Do they have a cigar lounge?

    No they don't

    No longer 24/7?

Dont know. There this evening. Place full food excellent, service excellent, bar open. Just give them a call.

How are the portions of every pasta plate?

    Adequate... from a 195lb man...

How late is the dining room area open? I know they serve food 24/7 but there is a bar area and a dining area. What time does the dining room area close?

    They are open 24/7

Are we kinda kid ok here???? 🍼👶🤱

I would say kids 10 and up ok.....not real young.....noise and other distractions

Dairy or egg in your noodles?

    Egg noodles

I would highly recommend visiting during cooler weather or earlier in the day so you can enjoy it longer without the heat draining you. The farm itself is a little hidden away, but they do have signs posted for parking, which made it easier to find once we got close. One thing I really liked is that admission is completely free, although they do have a donation box at the entrance if you'd like to support the farm and the animals. There were quite a few animals to see including horses, donkeys, goats, ducks, and pigs. The highlight for us was feeding the animals. Make sure you buy a bag of carrots because the animals definitely know visitors come with treats and they'll come right up to you expecting snacks. The goats especially were very eager and entertaining for the kids. I also noticed they host events here and offer pony and horse rides, which would be really fun for birthday parties or family gatherings. Even though it's a simple little farm, it turned out to be a fun and relaxing activity for kids and families looking for something different to do in Las Vegas away from the Strip. Overall, we had a good experience and would probably come back again when the weather is cooler.

A unique touch is that the reception desk staff also serve as bartenders at the hotel's 24-hour bar, creating a relaxed and personable atmosphere. The rooms are spacious, modern, and thoughtfully designed, featuring Hyatt's signature Cozy Corner sofa sleepers, mini-fridges, and swiveling HDTVs. The amenities were excellent, including a heated outdoor pool, jacuzzi, 24-hour fitness center, EV charging stations, and complimentary hot breakfast every morning. Another major advantage is the location. The hotel is only a short 5-10 minute walk from Silverton Casino Lodge, where you'll find restaurants, Bass Pro Shops, and the famous 117,000-gallon aquarium. Plus, the Las Vegas Strip is only about a 15-minute drive away, making it easy to enjoy the action while still returning to a peaceful hotel at the end of the day. Overall, this hotel offers an excellent balance of comfort, convenience, value, and service, and I would absolutely stay here again.

Vendors were ALL picked and our international guests were given notice of the date to get tickets. Ashley called us the day AFTER my dad was in the hospital letting us know that the business "might" not be in business or it "might" not be an event center any longer. In an email later, Ashley informs us it's "Force Majeure" and that it would be impractical and impossible for the venue to host our wedding. After I spent about 15 minutes laughing at a non attorney explaining the law to the two of us (two attorneys)and that too incorrectly... I proceeded to freak out. This is bad business and we have been told they are looking to sell the business. I for one will be keeping an eye on this corporation and the officers involved. NO bride and groom should have to go through this while planning their wedding and the damage caused emotionally and financially is unforgivable. Get an ACTUAL attorney to do your work instead of a sales girl hired by daddy. Bad business practice that will follow them.
