    5/5 Veal Lorraine the best!
    Poco P.

Been back since my last review a few times & outstanding! I got sick from the shrimp before but gave it another shot & everything has been phenomenal! Stuffed Mushrooms 5/5 perfect proportion of sausage & sauce. The Veal Lorraine 5/5 It'll be hard for me to try anything else for a while on the menu now! It is absolutely delicious! As always the bread & marinara divine! They should sell it by the jar. Ambience with the music & video poker if you just want to sit at the bar great or the dining area is superb. After coming back multiple times I have to say that I am so glad to try Bootlegger again.

On suggestion of our hotel receptionist, and a free appetizer coupon, my husband and I decided to try Bootleggers as our last date-night dinner in Las Vegas! I definitely wasn't hungry enough for Italian food, but that's what he wanted. The moment we opened the door, I instantly felt underdressed! The staff was dressed to the nines in black suits! The lighting was very low and sultry. At check-in we were told that there was a 20-30 minute wait because there were reservations in front of us. I wanted to try somewhere else, but my husband was insistent on staying there. Much to our surprise, our table was actually ready in just about 10 minutes. Once seated, it took another 10-15 minutes before our waitress realized that we were seated in her section. Thankfully, the person in charge of filling water had noticed us and already filled our water glasses. There was an entertainer not too terribly far from our table that was playing piano and singing. The piano was too loud for the size of the area he was playing in. It was so hard to hear the person seated directly across from you at the same table! It became more than annoying by the end of our meal. After a few questions about the menu, I decided on bruschetta and some soup for my dinner. My husband ordered the veal plate. We both ordered our beverages. Three times the waitress brought him the wrong drink or no drink at all! When asked for the check, it was incorrect when given to us. After correcting it, it took her a while to come pick it up to run the credit card. Aside from closing duties, we couldn't figure out what she was doing. She only had 2 other tables aside from ours, at that time. The food was good! Just not sure if we'll visit Bootleggers again when we return to Las Vegas.

I love this place! The food, the service, live music and the atmosphere is great for a date or just a meeting with friends to enjoy a drink and appetizers. Started the meal off with stuffed mushrooms (a must have). Mushrooms are cooked in a white lemon sauce which gives a great contrast to the stuffed mushrooms. Main course was Chicken Saltimbocca (sorry no pic) which was simply delicious! If you are looking for a great restaurant for a date night, then Bootleggers is for you: food, music, atmosphere with incredible service!

Our friend brought us for my mom's birthday, we sat in one of the historic bar booths and Brianna was our server. Knowledgeable, charismatic and friendly. The bread and tomato sauce is perfect garlic/acid balance. We did calamari and sparkling water. Our friend and I did dinner portions of lasagna, I did a salad as well, mom did the seafood fra diavolo. You come here for the ambiance, history, delicious food and service. There's no one rushing you between courses, you can just enjoy. I appreciated that til I got too comfortable and had to rush out for a client, but up until that time I was in a slow paced heaven. The calamari marinara is fabulous. They do make dressings in house and they can't be beat! In between the food, Brianna was chatty, funny and made it a wonderful experience. I've obviously eaten here before and thought I'd go lasagna. I was also looking at the baked penne but ended up making my own a couple days later. When the lasagna came out it looked almost like a steak covered in cheese! And I will say of all the times I've been, it was my least favorite. It just wasn't as flavorful or hearty as I would've liked. I love a couple inches high of noodles, cheese and sauce. On the fra diavolo, I don't think I've ever seen prawns that big!!! Brianna said it was spicy but not hot. That blurred for woman. Bc I don't do spice or heat I didn't try it. They brought her a cannoli for her birthday, nice hearty way to celebrate. Service was great, only once did I fill my own glass. Obviously I'll be back, duh. It's legendary!

This place gets packed for good reason. It's a large, vibrant spot with plenty of seating options, including a bar area that looked perfect for drinks and appetizers. The atmosphere is lively yet comfortable, and the staff was genuinely attentive and polite throughout our meal. The food was fantastic. We started with the bruschetta, and for the mains, the grilled steak was a standout.Perfectly charred on the outside with a juicy, flavorful interior. It came topped with a big, crispy onion ring and was served alongside creamy mashed potatoes and tender asparagus. The grilled vegetables were perfectly seasoned and full of flavor. I also enjoyed an old fashioned to end the evening. Overall, everything exceeded expectations. We'll definitely be coming back soon!

With a name like Bootlegger, I was expecting a saloon/speakeasy-type joint--not a classic Italian bistro with a Mama Maria at the heart of it all. Over the kitchen door, where servers come and go, there's an awning that reads La Cucina di Maria. I loved that detail--the reverence for the culinary matriarch is unmistakable. It wouldn't surprise me if there's a full-on shrine to her back there, quietly reminding everyone who runs that kitchen whose standards they're upholding. Our server, Rich, has been there for 16 years, which tells you a lot. He steered us right all night, starting with the Funghi di Maria (because "Maria's Mushrooms" just doesn't have the same ring). A perfect opener. We debated the highly-lauded lasagna but didn't want to fill up too quickly, so we went with the Prawns Scampi Linguine (and yes, the "shrimp" were basically small lobster) and Spaghetti with Meatballs. We'd read that Anthony Bourdain had raved about the spaghetti, so we figured we'd test the basics--and they absolutely delivered. 10s across the board. We wrapped with cannoli, featuring a pastry cream with a hint of orange that gave it a really authentic Italian feel. This place came highly recommended by family members who make it a must-visit every time they're in Vegas--and after this meal, we've been passing that recommendation along. That said, one couple we sent came back with a "good, not great," so there may be a bit of inconsistency. Still, we'd absolutely return and start working our way through the extensive menu. We were also delighted by the live music. I requested a Bing Crosby cover that the pianist, Doug Taylor, didn't know--but he looked it up and played it on the spot with real enthusiasm. Such a great touch. Pro tip: make a reservation (highly recommended) and request the "main room" if you want to enjoy the music and ambiance.

I visited The Bootlegger Italian Bistro in Las Vegas, NV [7700 Las Vegas Blvd S] on Tuesday, 03/24/26, around 11:30 AM. For lunch, I had the following: * Zuppa Di Minestrone * Meat Ravioli with Rose Sauce (Alfredo/Marinara) * Complimentary bread with Marinara Sauce The Minestrone Soup was super delicious and comforting in every spoonful. The Meat Ravioli dish was beyond delectable, especially paired with the Rose Sauce. I loved that I also had the option to the dishes with Parmesan cheese, being a cheese lover after all. Lastly, the complimentary bread with the Marinara sauce was the icing on the cake. My minor complaint was with the Ravioli dish. Though it was incredibly flavorful, the actual dish itself was quite small, smaller than anticipated. The plate only included a total of five raviolis. My server during my dining experience was Aimee. She was pleasant, kind, and attentive. The inside of the restaurant had a vintage, yet inviting feel with all of the decor and dim lighting. The dining floor was spacious and had many options available for seating, whether on the main floor or in the bar area. The downfall was that I discovered that this restaurant doesn't offer to-go cups. When I visited the restaurant, it was on a hot day, and I desired to take my Raspberry Iced Tea with me. Aimee indicated that the owner always had the "No To-Go Cups" policy in place. That was extremely disappointing to hear, as I've never heard of any restaurant doing this. With Las Vegas historically known to be hot in weather, it causes a lot of thirst for people. I was just quite shocked as a customer. Overall, I'd give this restaurant 3.5/5 stars. The food was delicious and the service met expectations. The downfalls were the small portion of the ravioli dish, no offerings of to-go cups for customers, and the price points were a tad high.

Our family friend, who lives in Henderson, brought us here for lunch yesterday and we couldn't believe the size of this place! You can bring your family (of any size) here and if you want to have a wedding, or any other type of banquet style event, they have you covered. They have lunch specials between 11am and 3pm, and it's an old school, call it 'out of date,' sort of Italian bistro decor. I didn't mind at all because it reminded me of the good ole' days. There are a bunch of black and white family photos scattered all over the restaurant, along with good Ol' Blue Eyes, Frank Sinatra. Our waiter was polite, but he was meh. I liked the hostess in the front of the house much more. She was really personable and friendly. I ordered one of the house specials, which is lasagna, that came with a small side of Caesar salad. Now, the best lasagna I ever had was in New York, but I must say... this is the best lasagna I've had... in Nevada. We'll definitely be back for dinner, so I can hear live music and play footsy with my husband in dim lighting.

I liked the piano live music. It was my birthday dinner. I love Disney. The pianist played my favorite Disney song Beauty and the Beast and Part of your world. I had a great time. The service was good. I got birthday dessert. I always order cannolis when I go to Italian restaurant. Seafood pasta was so good. The shrimp was huge. Wedge salad was good portion for two people. Foods and drinks price were respectable. I recommend here.

I have heard many people rave about this place for years so finally decided to give it a try. The building is huge and it's got such an old Vegas vibe inside. I loved the vibe. The old booths, the chandelier, the piano and the pictures of all the celebrities that had been there. We started with garlic bread. It was alright kind of hard and not a lot of garlic flavor. The marinara sauce was good though. We ordered stuffed mushrooms and mozzarella sticks for an appetizer. The mushrooms were decent, not a lot a of flavor. Most of the flavor came from the sausage. The mozzarella sticks also didnt have a lot of flavor. The breading was just breading, the marinara sauce tasted like maybe it had red peppers in it? It was different from the marinara served with the breadsticks. I wouldn't get them again. My husband got the veal pasta. The sauce was very good and the veal was very good but the pasta itself was not. My daughter got the chicken alfredo. She also didnt care for the pasta nor did she care for the alfredo sauce. It lacked any flavor at all. Not really any garlic or parmesean flavor. She did enjoy the grilled chicken, though she said some pieces tasted like a dirty grill. I got the lasagna. I was disappointed the cheese on top was so hard you could hardly cut it and the noodles were crunchy like it'd been reheated a few times. It was not the freshest pasta ive ever had. Not good. The sauce was decent. We ordered a creme brule which was the perfect consistency but tasted mostly like cream. It needed more sugar and vanilla in the custard and a bit more of a thicker sugar topping. If it had those minor adjustments it'd been perfect. Our waitress was great. The staff were very diligent in keeping the water glasses full and empty plates cleaned up. Service is beyond 5 stars but the food your paying for just wasn't worth the cost taste wise. They give you a large shareable portion however they charge you a fee to split a plate. It was a neat experience but it didnt have anything that wowed me to much to want to return.

We have been wanting to try this place for a long time. This restaurant is definitely better than Olive Garden or Buca di Beppo. But I wouldn't consider it fine dining. It's an affordable place to bring the whole family. The food was very delicious. My steak came out at the right temperature. The prawns were enormous and of great quality. My wife's seafood mix was delicious. Complementary garlic bread for the table was good too.. Our waiter was very attentive. He checked on us every 10 minutes and made sure our drinks were full.. The restaurant was a very happy place. We definitely enjoyed the music from the pianist..

Friends were in town and we decided to try out the Bootlegger. A staple in the community for years it seemed like a safe bet. We had reservations for 6 people at 630 and everything was on time and ready. We were greated at the door when we arrived and sat promptly. We had a nice table in the corner with plenty of room and the volume was just right. They had live music playing and it wasn't an interference at all. Our waiter was prompt and attentive and he entertained our questions and got us going. Appetizers and bread came out along with our drinks in a timely manner. The bread was good , almost like garlic knots. Some had salads and we had the caprese and it was good. The tomatoes and cheese were both fresh. Once we placed our food order it did take a little long for that to come out and the gap between salads and meals could have been better. I ordered the lasagna with meat sauce, as you can see from the picture there was really no meat in the sauce at all and the way it was made was weird to me. They used sausage and rolled it up on one side and all the cheese was on the other side, not what I was expecting at all. It definitely could have been better and I would not order it again. Everyone's steaks and other meals were cooked to order and everyone really enjoyed their meal. Overall it was a nice place and I would definitely return to give something else a try.

The wait was long but definitely worth it! Our waiter was amazing. The osso bucco was the star of the show. It was perfect! The cocktails were good and the staff was attentive. My favorite part was the ambiance, old vegas charm at its finest. Live piano music and all of the classic oldies you forgot you knew every word to. We had an amazing time and we met Rich Little, of course my 18-30 year old daughters didn't know who he was but it shows they are truthful when they say it's a celebrity favorite. I spent about 230 on 3 of us including a dessert and several cocktails. Get reservations ahead if you can, its very busy...lots of locals. I highly recommend The Bootlegger for the old vegas vibe.

There's so much to see and do. My mom and daughter and I all of us got in the train ride, which was so much fun!!! Honestly, I think everything is pretty reasonable price. They do sell drinks, food, honey, eggs, even duck eggs. I think they do birthday parties, which is awesome. I also seen for the summer. They do rent out the pool area so that sounds fun. I'm considering doing that. It's definitely a hidden Gem and I can't wait to go again!!! my daughter absolutely love love love love this place that she can't wait to go again too. Make sure you follow directions how to defeat the animals it took my daughter a few times to get the courage to feed the horses, but after that, she just wanted to feed all the animals over and over again.

Found this hidden gem in Las Vegas on Facebook and finally decided to check it out with the family…read more We went on a Sunday around 1 PM after church, and while we still had a great time, it was definitely HOT outside. I would highly recommend visiting during cooler weather or earlier in the day so you can enjoy it longer without the heat draining you. The farm itself is a little hidden away, but they do have signs posted for parking, which made it easier to find once we got close. One thing I really liked is that admission is completely free, although they do have a donation box at the entrance if you'd like to support the farm and the animals. There were quite a few animals to see including horses, donkeys, goats, ducks, and pigs. The highlight for us was feeding the animals. Make sure you buy a bag of carrots because the animals definitely know visitors come with treats and they'll come right up to you expecting snacks. The goats especially were very eager and entertaining for the kids. I also noticed they host events here and offer pony and horse rides, which would be really fun for birthday parties or family gatherings. Even though it's a simple little farm, it turned out to be a fun and relaxing activity for kids and families looking for something different to do in Las Vegas away from the Strip. Overall, we had a good experience and would probably come back again when the weather is cooler.

I highly recommend the Hyatt Place Las Vegas at Silverton Village for anyone looking for a modern,…read morecomfortable, and quieter alternative to staying directly on the Las Vegas Strip. Located about 6 miles south of the Strip, this newer 3-star hotel offers a more relaxed atmosphere away from the airport flight path, making it noticeably quieter than some other Las Vegas locations. It's also a great value thanks to its free parking and no resort fees. The staff truly make the experience stand out -- everyone was friendly, welcoming, and attentive throughout my stay. A unique touch is that the reception desk staff also serve as bartenders at the hotel's 24-hour bar, creating a relaxed and personable atmosphere. The rooms are spacious, modern, and thoughtfully designed, featuring Hyatt's signature Cozy Corner sofa sleepers, mini-fridges, and swiveling HDTVs. The amenities were excellent, including a heated outdoor pool, jacuzzi, 24-hour fitness center, EV charging stations, and complimentary hot breakfast every morning. Another major advantage is the location. The hotel is only a short 5-10 minute walk from Silverton Casino Lodge, where you'll find restaurants, Bass Pro Shops, and the famous 117,000-gallon aquarium. Plus, the Las Vegas Strip is only about a 15-minute drive away, making it easy to enjoy the action while still returning to a peaceful hotel at the end of the day. Overall, this hotel offers an excellent balance of comfort, convenience, value, and service, and I would absolutely stay here again.

Our boys were also disappointed by this. Especially since the hotel says the pool area closes at 10, but it's like they did this to start closing things down by 9pm. It was nice having the restaurant, pizza spot & cafe on the premises. Food was decent, but service was exceptionally poor all around. We got a room with a bed & pullout sofa, which the boys used, but the blanket for the sofa had a gross stain. They were quick to replace it, but we noticed stains on multiple towels and other blankets too, which gave a major ick factor. In addition, our little one was walking around the room barefoot and his feet were black with dirt JUST from the room. That was especially gross too! We had to call down for service multiple times too. From no body wash in the body wash dispenser, no liners for the ice buckets & no spare toilet paper for a 4-day stay. They were always relatively quick to respond (10-20 minutes). Just frustrating that those things aren't part of a regular room reset checklist. Overall, I'll give them credit for wanting to create a nice, family-friendly environment, but I just feel like they've missed the mark for overall service.

Very disappointed with this place…read more I booked the 3-night promotional stay that included attending a timeshare presentation. I was genuinely interested in purchasing because I live in Oregon and have family in Utah, and I thought this could be a great place for family vacations. I invited my daughter to meet me there because I wanted her advice before making a $15,000 commitment. We arrived late the first night and attended the presentation the next morning before we even had a chance to explore the property. The presentation itself felt overwhelming. The initial presenter spoke very quickly, making it difficult to follow, so I had several questions afterward. We were then moved to a dining room with loud music playing while they tried to answer those questions, which felt strange and made it even harder to concentrate. After I expressed my concerns, they moved us to a private room and brought in a second representative who was much more knowledgeable. I was interested in purchasing, but I wanted time to think about it and discuss it with my daughter. I was told the offer was only valid if I signed immediately. I found it very concerning that they expected me to make a $15,000 decision after a two-hour presentation without even allowing me to sleep on it. When I declined to make an immediate decision, they brought in a third representative who lowered the price to $10,000, but I still wasn't comfortable committing on the spot. After our presentation, my daughter and son-in-law arrived for their own scheduled presentation. We met briefly in the lobby while they handed their children off to us. Staff immediately objected to the fact that we knew each other, refused to allow them to attend their presentation, and informed them they would have to check out or be charged $700. I found this extremely confusing and unprofessional. Later, we heard from other guests that different pricing may be offered based on income levels. Whether that's true or not, the entire experience left us feeling uneasy. Wanting to resolve the situation, I spent over an hour on hold to speak with a manager. When I finally reached the reservations manager, Mitzi, I explained that I was still interested in purchasing but wanted my daughter and son-in-law to be able to attend a presentation so I could get their input. Unfortunately, the interaction was so rude and dismissive that it completely ended any interest I had in becoming an owner. I was genuinely shocked by the lack of customer service and concern. My daughter and son-in-law initially wanted to leave immediately, but after spending some time away from the property, I convinced them to stay in my upgraded suite for the night. We took the kids to the lazy river, which was enjoyable until sunset, when we noticed roaches on the ground throughout the area. We then went to the beach pool area, only to find it being evacuated due to a fecal contamination incident. By the end of our stay, I was relieved that I had not purchased a timeshare. The tap water had an unpleasant odor, the beds were uncomfortable, our room overlooked a crowded parking lot with very limited parking availability, and the property itself felt overcrowded and difficult to navigate due to the long hallways. What started as a serious consideration to purchase ultimately felt like a blessing in disguise. Based on our experience, I would not recommend this property, whether you're considering a timeshare purchase or simply looking for a vacation stay. The sales tactics, customer service experience, and overall condition of the resort left us deeply disappointed. Thank you, Mitzi, for saving me $15,000.

I called him three weeks before my event to ask about the food. Which first of all it should've been him reaching out to me. When I called him, he was in a very bad attitude, and he said that my event was not the only event he had that he had multiple events. It's very disappointing because planning a wedding should be something special and exciting. The Chef made my experience terrible. He wasn't even humble enough to reach back and apologize for any miscommunication. Honestly, I would never recommend this place to no one because of the Chef. Now, if the chef was not part of this team, absolutely it's a good place to have an event. It's beautiful and everyone else is amazing. My end result was that I had to lose $2000 of my deposit to change Banquet Hall. I took this decision because I was not gonna leave the food in the hands of someone I did not trust. So three weeks before my event, I had to move everything around.

This is bad business and we have been told they are looking to sell the business. I for one will be keeping an eye on this corporation and the officers involved. NO bride and groom should have to go through this while planning their wedding and the damage caused emotionally and financially is unforgivable. Get an ACTUAL attorney to do your work instead of a sales girl hired by daddy. Bad business practice that will follow them.
