By The Bay was prompt to respond to my request for a tree service in a local Facebook group. They answered the phone right away, and they were here within about a half hour. They had a fair price and their team was very professional. The quality of their work was as good as any I have ever seen and definitely of value especially considering the circumstances and urgency of the situation. They were able to remove the tree without any additional damage to my house and garage, and when they were done, it was like it never happened (well, except for the big hole in the garage). Overall I am happy having worked with this company, but do feel it's important to flag that the…read moreprocess was not completely smooth or ideal. I used them to install a brick paver path in my back yard. When I initially consulted with Chris, it seemed like Rock N' Block had their own team and would complete the install. When the crew showed up, however, they seemed to have been a different, subcontracted company. The path was installed horrifically badly -- inconsistent widths, jagged, uneven curves, not centered on the staircase it leads to. It was truly, really bad. To their credit, they acknowledged how terrible the work was, and agreed to re-install the path when I brought it up. Chris was responsive and apologetic. But, the whole process was, honestly, a pain. I had to fly back into town early to supervise the re-install, it ended up taking much longer and requiring much more of my time than a simple path should have because of the poor initial quality of their work. Hence -1 star.
