I don't know if you will ever find yourself in Lusk, WY but if you are, stop in and tell 'em I sent…read moreyou! It was early in the morning and we had to hit the Port of Entry to grab our permit for the oversized load. I attempted to make coffee while he was driving but all I made was liquid grounds and a huge mess! They recommended the 3 Sisters at the permit office so odd we headed to grab some Java. When we walked in it was empty except for one table and she greeted us with "Are ya here for breakfast?" Well that wasn't our plan but I immediately responded yes because I wasn't going to try to cook after the coffee fiasco of 2023! Hubby was hesitant because he isn't used to enjoying his time while working but went along with me. He is Ssssssuuuuppperrrr glad he did! We ordered 2 eggs and had browns and toast ($1 extra for the sourdough and worth it!) and biscuits and gravy (2 full biscuits) and home fries. He raved over the home fries. Says they are the best he has had. Service was so personable and she honestly asked us about our morning and where we were headed. The decor was hometown midwestern and they are recently under new management. The coffee was amazing and the food went above and beyond. I made certain to thank the Chef for making us an awesome breakfast that we weren't expecting to get when we stopped. Further it was all cooked fresh and to order. I'll be back! I already told hubby I want to winter in Lusk! He says we better arrive in October and plan to stay until April, I'm down for it!

The best place to have a delicious & proper tea ;)…read more The owner & hostess is not only lovely & kind, she's also but ridiculously talented in the kitchen. Everything she serves is makes from scratch & it's all fabulous! If I lived nearby I'd be the size of a house :D I got the 'sweet & savory' (I think that's what it's called) that includes sandwiches, scones (best I've ever had), coffee cake (to die for!!), other pastries &, my favorite, lemon curd,,,,,, ohhhhh myyyy, lol. She has a wide variety of teas & my first choice is the Laramie Lemon Creme tea. The home is decorated in Victorian style. It's tasteful, interesting & creates the perfect ambiance for a long leisurely tea with friends. If you're ever anywhere near this area do yourself a big favor & stop by for brunch :) You won't regret it! Currently the hours of operation are Wednesday through Saturday, 9 am - 12 noon, but I would call ahead just to make sure they're open. Also, if you have a larger group you can call ahead for reservations & the days & times are more flexible.

It was our anniversary and we wanted to do a tea luncheon so we made the trip down to Ft. We went with the rose tea and it paired magnificently with the fresh out of the oven scones and the creme and lemon curd was exceptional. The second course was a tortellini soup, cucumber sandwich and pineapple cream sandwich, followed by chocolate mini bunt which is my hubby's favorite. The teahouse itself is just darling ...its a must if you are in the area and teas are your thing...thank you for making our anniversary so special!;)

This review is based on only one dish and one visit, so take it however you will. but based on this…read moreone dish, I believe everything would be excellent I got the "Wyoming Fries" and a Horchata. To me, the Horchata was super sweet, but it was a good counterpoint to the fries. But oh my gosh, these fries...... Thin crispy fries, piled on the plate with guacamole, pico, cheese, Carnitas (you have a choice of meats), and sour cream drizzled on top. They also brought three varieties of hot sauce, which I tasted (all good), but did not actually put on my fries (didn't feel like it needed it). The Carnitas was delicious and tender, the fries were perfect, and there were generous helpings of guacamole, pico and cheese distributed pretty evenly over it all. This thing was huge. Enough for two people. But did I eat it all by myself? Yes, I did. Almost all of it. I didn't want any of it to go to waste! Service was fast and friendly, the whole place, including the bathroom, was clean and I would definitely stop there again if in the area.

First, after looking at my receipt (in my email afterwards since I was only shown a total on the screen when paying at the table) I saw that all 3 of our food items rang up higher than the listed prices in the menu. I hate it when this stuff happens. Just seems shady. The next, is that I ordered the garden burrito that the manager said was the best vegetarian option. The menu literally starts describing it as "no meat" but afterwards I felt sick to my stomach all day. I looked through the Yelp reviews and someone else said the refried beans have lard in them (pork product). I wanted to fact check so called the restaurant and sure enough there's *bleeping* lard in the refried beans!! Ugh I'm so upset!!
