A bartender greeted me and gave me water. For my drink, I took the chocolate old fashioned (13 dollars). It was strong enough and chocolatly to enjoy. For my main plate, I chose the chicken wings (10 for 17 dollars), half fat rabbit sauce (quite garlicky) and other half siracha. While the wings were not breaded, they were still fried. It was definitely crispy, but still meaty and tender. The sauces were flavorful, and the siracha had the right amount of heat. The ranch dressing was homemade and so good, I ended up drinking it. There could have been more celery, but it was fresh and crispy. They only had one dessert, and unfortunately it wasn't homemade, so I passed. My bartender was friendly, but busy. She had a helper, but lots of patrons to serve. Yet, she was still very nice and helpful when needed. The vibe is social and casual. I would have thought they would have more USF students, but mostly locals who are enjoying a good atmosphere. Outdoor seating is available as well, and it looks like you can bring your pooch too. When it was time to check out and pay, I noticed they forgot to charge me for my drink. When I mentioned that, they told me not to worry about it. It was a very nice gesture from them. Parking here is easy as it is located in the Publix complex. There is also a Don Julio's and Bundt Cakes nearby for dessert too. The Fat Rabbit pub provides great casual bar food in a social atmosphere. The indoor dining is large enough to feel comfortable, and outdoor seating is also there if you want to enjoy with your dog. I am glad I chose this place again as it was near my hotel. Definitely coming back for more great bar food at reasonable prices. Overall: A

I really struggled with how to rate this. I think I'm right at a 3.5. This is located in a plaza…read moreand is very cute inside. We went on a saturday night at 6pm and had reservations. We were seated promptly. It's very small and cozy inside. The chef comes out and greets you, he also helped us pick a wine which was very good and exactly what we were looking for. We started with the salumi e robiola ($45) which was the charcuterie. It was good, but nothing that blew me away and incredibly expensive. I understand that most everything is imported from Italy, but we definitely had sticker shock. We also started with cozze blu alla veneto (mussels - $27). These were very good and flavorful. We ordered two pastas to share and we got the caprese salad and a tomato and gouda soup as a starter. The caprese salad was literally five mozzarella pearls with some balsamic. The tomato and gouda soup was probably some of the best soup I've ever had. Rich, hearty, creamy. I can't say enough good things. The two pastas we got were the funghi misti trifolati ($49) and the salsiccia e peperoncino arrosto ($53). For some reason, and I feel like this has to be a fluke, the funghi pasta had almost no flavor. Not even earthiness from the mushrooms. I don't really know what happened there because even if I have issues with portion size or price, everything had great flavor, something was just off with this one. The salsiccia pasta was very very spicy. We added ricotta which was a good balance and it was cooked to perfection. For dessert we got basically a deconstructed cannoli. It was just okay. it was also their only dessert option. Our server was attentive and checked on us often. Overall, the night had hits and misses. I think the prices don't really match what you get.

No more than 10 tables, ambiance could be worked on - dim the lights add some candles, soft seats. Greeted with a glass on sparkling to start the night. New server, but he is gonna be good. The chef won't recommend anything since it's all good - he changes it nightly. Artichoke app was really tasty paired with a crisp acidic white Lobster bisque - creamy, needs something to elevate Ragu - homemade semolina with beef, pork and veal meat sauce served with a crunchy soft flat bread- Steak- something special about these cows. It was $120, it was cooked MR (more med imo) Gorgonzola atop Tiramisu was deconstructed crisp texture not soft and creamy - port to pair Only disappointment was for no 'extra' accoutrements at any point during the meal. Simple well cooked meal. Hubs was most excited to return to try the pizza

I was so surprised to see before Hang Ten Tiki Bar opened that all the bars at Adventure Island had pre-mixed frozen drinks and I can't buy a Margarita, Mojito, or a simple mixed drink like a Rum and Coke anywhere in the Adventure Island Water Park. Luckily, now I can! As the water park's first full-service bar, the laid-back vibes of Hang Ten Tiki Bar offer an all-new wave of refreshment to guests with hand-crafted signature cocktails, fan-favorite local brews, and a regional and international rum selection! Hang Ten Tiki Bar offers the Hang 10 Daquiri, Surfin' Strawberry Margarita, Beach Bum Mojito, Mahalo Mule, 2 types of Frozen cocktails, non-alcoholic frozen drinks, more than 20 international and local Florida-distilled Rums, a Surf-themed rum flight, a surf themed beer flight, Tiki soft pretzels, empanadas, and local gulf smoked fish dip with a pineapple relish. The Island Lava Flow Frozen Cocktail came with locally made Siesta Key Toasted Coconut Rum, Pina Colada, and Strawberry and was pretty tasty without being too sweet. 9/10 The Caribbean Corkscrew Frozen Cocktail came with Sailor Jerry spiced rum, bahama mama & cherry. 8/10 The Longboard Flight came with locally made craft brews including Free Dive IPA by Coppertail Brewery from Tampa, Beach Blonde Ale by 3 Daughters Brewery from St Pete, Graffiti Orange Wheat Ale by 7venth Sun Brewery from Dunedin, & Big Wave Golden Ale by Kona Brewing from Kailua-Kona, Hawaii. The tiki theming is nice but a little too subtle. There's a love of Tiki bars already in the Tampa Bay area on the water with better theming. Management could go further in adding more tiki theming. Personally, I'd rather have more types of locally made beer than have 20 different types of Rum. The mixed drink selection is pretty nice but could be expanded. It would be nice managment added a pain killer and a mud slide. Pricing is pretty reasonable. If management could add some tacos or more food options, that would be great too! Overall, while there are some areas that could be improved upon, I am very happy that the Hang Ten tiki bar was added to Adventure Island and highly recommend that you visit if you're at the Adventure Island Water Park! I look forward to trying more off their menu soon!
