If you could turn a Chuck Norris karate chop into an establishment, this is it. A dive bar among all dive bars: old, historic, cool architecture, great live bands, sick jukebox, solid bartenders, respectable beer list, boozey, salty, with hideous bathrooms.

Service was good and friendly. Ambiance was old school bar scene. Live music was good the night we came in

The acoustics seem to be good, seating is reasonably comfortable and concert prices are fait The concerts we have seen have been really good - Beach Boys Tribute Band, and a couple of others. Tickets are easy to buy online - including seat selection. Food and drinks are fair food stand in performance area, to really good - bar/restaurant. I would recommend this place for both concerts and for the bar area which has live music, and, so far, no cover or minimum. This was my first time at The Clyde, and while the drink from the bar missed the mark--zero flavor and nothing like the picture on the menu--it was the only hiccup in an otherwise smooth night. I couldn't bring myself to drink the "Easy Tiger" (the only reason I bought it was because it was Ryan-themed, honestly) because it was sooo bad (deduction of star for this reason). When the lights dimmed and Ryan Adams took the stage, the sound wrapped around me, filling every corner of the space with his signature, aching voice. I won't go on too long about the sound, though--it's a Sweetwater Sound building and a Ryan Adams collaboration. The sound had no choice but to be tight, clean, and alive. Security was present but relaxed, letting the night unfold without being a distraction, something I have seen security be at other venues. Parking was easy--probably the closest I've ever been for a Ryan show. Like literally right outside the front door. What is this!? I can't leave out the art in the bathroom--unexpected and quirky, a small touch that speaks to the venue's attention to detail. I'd return to The Clyde without hesitation. It's a space that supports live original, soulful, introspective, haunting music with ease. Next time, I just hope the drink tastes as good as the show sounds.

Fresh jalapeño cheddar loaf and sourdough were brought to the table before the meal and were both excellent. The star of the night was the porterhouse, cooked perfectly and topped with a Gouda bacon scallion butter that delivered one of the best flavor pops I've ever had on a steak. This steak now holds my #1 spot in Fort Wayne. The sides were also well executed and complemented the meal nicely. Service was friendly and knowledgeable, but timing felt off. Cocktails took longer than expected and there were noticeable gaps between courses, which made the experience feel rushed. Atmosphere is attractive with a rustic industrial vibe. However, being seated next to the piano made conversation challenging. Overall great experience and I will be back!
