Pretty sizable restaurant. Servers were really nice and attentive I ordered the country fried steak. It came with two eggs, I chose the hash browns, and also chose the coffee cake. The portions here are definitely quite large (just see the picture of my steak). My coworkers couldn't finish their meals, and if I wasn't such a big back I probably could have taken some home as well. The country fried steak was nice and crispy but lacked flavor in my opinion in both the gravy as well as the steak itself. My sunny side up eggs were cooked beautifully with a runny yolk. Hash browns were average, nothing crazy. That coffee cake was incredibly delicious though. Not crazy sweet, and you can taste the notes of cinnamon. Would definitely order again. I'd rate this experience a 7/10. For about $30 after tax and tip, you get a good amount of food, much of which is delicious. It was just unfortunate that the steak wasn't super flavorful. Had an interesting visit here last month. It was busy as usual. We were running late and the rest of our party was already there. The was a bit of a wait to get a server to come back. Once we got one things got better. Food was great. I love the chicken and waffles. Their gravy really sets them apart from other places. However when we were going to leave there was an issue with the bill. They asked if we already paid but none of us did. We were stuck until they figured it out. A manager came and asked us the sane thing again. My in laws stayed to figure things out. I guess another table paid their bill but it was for our table. I was so excited to have a new brunch place in town. However, I've been here three times. The first time, I left feeling so disappointed. I didn't think I would ever go back. The first time I came the service was 1 star. The server was extremely irritated, which is funny because it was 10 AM. I was asking her questions about the food and her answer was I don't know. She seemed so annoyed. I felt so disappointed that the server was not helpful and she brought us our check immediately after she brought the food. I wanted more coffee and needed napkins, yet she barely checked on our table. I wouldn't have come back but my friends wanted to try it, too. My second time here was the opposite. I had a wonderful server who also worked at Yolked. She was so kind, friendly, and attentive. The hostess had forgotten to give us a coloring page and a kids menu, and the server immediately went to get one. She was phenomenal at bringing coffee, asking how the food was, letting us eat before she brought the check, and she brought a box for my baby's meal. The place has pink chairs and comfortable booths. It doesn't look anything like Yolked- it's actually quite lovely. The prices are high compared to other breakfast places in town. Nevertheless, customer service is a contributing factor and I don't want to roll the dice on whether or not the server will be welcoming and attentive. The third time I was came here was because I had a meeting and Betsy's was closed. There was no wait at all. They add a bunch of fries to the sandwich- it's basically fries with a sandwich. I go to this breakfast place on a regular basis with my wife, so I'm familiar with the food and wait staff. Today I ordered the crispy chicken sandwich, one that I get every once in a while. It says it's coated with butter milk bread crumbs, it's usually a descent size relative to thickness, on today's visit, the chicken was totally flat and the breadcrumbs was not butter milk as described. Although the server was a nice gentleman, he was also the bar person making drinks. I didn't call him over and tell him that this sandwich was not as described because he was busy most of the time making drinks. He took forever to get us the check as I tried to flag him at the bar to come to the table. I'm disappointed because for some reason they think it's okay to serve a sandwich that was obviously different than the menu indicated. I don't think the establishment should have a bartender serve a table that is a far distance from the bar. If you do go there, don't have the bartender serve you at the table, ask to have another server. You will enjoy your meal much better. read more

The outside of the restaurant is also well manicured and clean. The service is at times slow but for the most part friendly. I did enjoy the bloody mary's here but the horchata was an absolute failure. It was as if they're out of horchata and mix cream, sugar, and cinnamon together. We usually come here for breakfast after dropping off our cars for maintenance at the nearby Honda. I don't think we've had a bad meal here since it opened up. Today, I ordered the Popeye Omelet and my husband the Lo Carb Scramble. My Omelet was such a generous portion that I only ate half. Definitely stuffed with advertised ingredients. My husband's Scramble was perfectly portioned as well. He opted for chicken on the side and they listened. Their toast are big slices so one was plenty for me. Stopped in for breakfast on our way back home. Have to say the omelette here is really good. My GF and I wanted to validate it from last time we were here. We got the veggie omelette and added ham to it but forgot to say cheese as well. Although we forgot the cheese it's till was really good. GF and I shared. I also got side order of sausage links. That was disappointing as it seems it had been cooked prior sitting in a warmer. It was just dry. I also order side of waffle that too was disappointing as not crispy and expensive. $17 for 1 plain waffle they did add a small cup fruit but didn't ask for it. Had I known I should have just order a normal waffle dish and got more for my money. Lastly had to say our server was not so good. Our coffee never came. Finally came when we asked again when food was delivered. We ask the bus person who gave us water and the server when he took our order. But no coffee. Till food came. here at breakfast club again for you guessed it breakfast. They've been open for a few months now and service is getting better and they're really trying their best to work out all the kinks. Our server gave great customer service and she was attentive to our needs and filling our coffee is needed. I'll be on with casual and laid-back. Ordered the chicken and waffles, which are always pretty consistent with taste. The chicken is fried perfectly with that golden crust and a crunch at every bite. The waffles were good and tasted even better with the butter and that warm syrup. I don't know what they put in their gravy, but that gravy is really good. The hubs ordered the ribeye which was a bit bland. We needed to add salt and then it made it OK. Hashbrowns were a bit blonde also but we added salt and then they were OK too. We were quickly seated and the server took our order right away. The food was brought out quickly. The hash browns lacked flavor, had to add a lot more salt and pepper. The sausage was dry. The steak was ordered medium rare however looked more rare. They were able to substitute my hash browns for extra beans. The ribeye steak was medium rare and was very flavorful! Food was not good- the pancakes were dry, plates were hot but the food was lukewarm, overnight oats were soupy. Service was and slow and not very attentive- had to ask twice for napkins because my little one spilled the big glass full of milk she was given (no kids cup). Also charged $3 more for one of the breakfast items ordered and had to get that sorted out, but to the waiter and restaurant's credit they amended it right away and apologized for the error. Great breakfast stop on our way to 17-Mile Drive! We stopped in with our small dog and were happy to find pet-friendly outdoor seating on a lovely patio. The place is beautiful inside and out, with a charming outdoor area shaded by big trees and plenty of tables. Our entrées were generously portioned, arrived quickly, and were absolutely delicious. Came here this morning with my bf for a quick bfast before heading to Big Sur. There was no wait at 9am! I got an extra hot latte (they don't have almond milk but they do have soy), but the latte was only ok. Their fresh squeezed oh is really good though! I ordered the eggs Benedict combo, I got their carnitas bene and their linguica bene! I liked their linguica one better, but both were good! However my food was cold!! (Hence only the 3 stars today) My bf got a 2 eggs combo and then a single of their peach cobbler pancake! I def snuck nibbles of the pancake, it comes dusted with powdered sugar, garnished with a graham cracker and then a bunch of yummy peaches!! Last dish needed a few more minutes which was annoying but prob due to size of our group. Ambiance was fine. Biggest complaint was two people in our party ordered salmon toast which was presented on the menu with smoked salmon. Dish that was served had cooked salmon that was very bland and not at all smoked. When I asked waiter, he said something to the effect of " oh I guess we are out of smoked salmon..." My brother's salmon was dry according to him. Presentation was fine but flavor was very blah. I was racially discriminated against at this location. I walked in with my 18 month old son and they sat us in the corner of the restaurant. We sat there for twenty minutes and nobody ever came to take our order. We watched three other tables get seated after us and get drinks before anyone even looked our way. Then when I went to ask the hostess for the manager, I had to wait another ten minutes. A guy by the name of Martin Pacheco walks out and identifies himself as the manager. He was dressed in waiter clothes and was very unprofessional in his demeanor and mannerism. I informed him that we had been waiting for twenty minutes and were not even so much as greeted. I expressed that I felt like I had been racially discriminated against and he began to laugh in my face like it was a joke. Not only am I African American but I am also 8 months pregnant. He did not apologize for the lack of service, did not offer me food, and he refused to get me the manager. I asked him to get me someone in charge multiple times and he declined my request, stating the manager was not available. I then asked for a business card in which he denied that request also. I have never felt so disrespected and discriminated against in my entire life. I walked out of that restaurant in tears and feeling so low. I will not be returning. Not a single staff member addressed the issue or enforced any rules regarding animals in the dining area. I can understand allowing dogs in an outdoor patio area, but inside where people are eating is completely inappropriate. We've been to the popular San Jose Breakfast Club once awhile back. I remember the food and the ambiance was great. Unfortunately the wait can be long so we haven't been back since. The Breakfast Club now has a location in our town of Morgan Hill since late last year. I was excited because I know the restaurant has a great reputation and they're literally 3 minutes from our house. We went here for brunch on a Sunday morning after church. Parking was packed but they do have their own parking lot. The area is nice and it's close to the highway 101 freeway entrance. We did not have to wait too long before we got seated. They had a nice little bar with bar stools all around. Definitely a great spot to watch games at. The flowers decor inside was vibrant and went well with the restaurant. We ordered the Crab Cake Benedict, French Toast, kid's French Toast with sausages, Mimosa, and Bloody Mary. The drinks were refreshing while the food was tasty and delicious. The staff was friendly and accommodating. Overall we enjoyed our experience at the Breakfast Club Morgan Hill. Since we're a few minutes away, we'll be back. read more
