The food was great service great as well the only thing that is well ... a stickler is parking .. it truly on a corner so if u can't find a spot in the lot out front u can usually find one close within the neighborhood.. clean well lit and good food couldn't ask for anything more

Three Little Piggies - Granola & Banana Pancake - side of potatoes and OJ

I was amazed how fantastic the food was at the Breakfast Corner in South City. It's definitely is now one of my new favorite go-to places for breakfast and brunch after this first visit. I ordered the three little piggies plate that came with a biscuit sliced in half underneath the layers of pulled pork, chorizo gravy, a couple slices of bacon, and two eggs your way that for me were scrambled and went on top. I got an extra side of potatoes and my brother and I split a granola & banana pancake that tasted killer. Coffee with free refills was good, service is pleasant and the restaurant is a pretty cool space inside and out. I hope to be back soon.

Food was good, we had to ask if they had Bloody Marys or mimosas because it wasn't on the menu. The waitress was nice enough and it was a great space!

Can't wait to come back here! I loved the look of the inside - nicely done and a relaxing color scheme with nice light fixtures and a nice color of leather in the booths. The booths were spacious and comfortable, as well. The food was delicious and we got a great amount for our money. We had wonderful service. Even when a glass was accidentally broken by a waitress at our table: they made it right immediately.

Amazing service, amazing atmosphere, amazing food. Came here on a crisp Sunday morning with my girlfriend for brunch. When we arrive, there was like a 20 minute wait, which actually was 20 minutes. The lobby had plenty of seating for us to wait in. Once we were seated, we were greeted and our server was so sweet and pleasant. She was so patient while we figured out what we wanted to order and was really helpful in helping us decide. I opted for the Smashburger with soup of the day, which was White bean and chicken I believe. My friend got a waffle, eggs, bacon, and a fruit cup. The waffle was delicious soft and buttery, the bacon and potatoes were perfect. The potatoes were hot in season two perfection! However, my friend said her eggs were not good. I don't eat breakfast eggs, so I can't even give my opinion. Another small (huge) con is that they don't have alcoholic beverages! Our server said they're working on their liquor license. Either way I'll definitely be back.

For a breakfast spot this place did really well. As others stated the outside is a little deceiving as it's rather large inside. I got there about 10:15 on a Saturday and it was busy but my table was ready fairly quickly. Since they were busy the kitchen got backed up so it did take about 30 minutes to get my food which I don't believe is typical for them. The service was good and attentive, the space is open and bright and they have a good amount of seating. The food was great. I got the breakfast sandwhich which comes with a side, I got potatoes. They were cooked well, the potatoes had onions which i love. The sandwich had delicious buttery bread , egg cooked perfect and crunchy bacon, not fatty or limp! I also had a caramel macchiato, which all came to under $20. Honestly such a great spot and will be back .

    The country sampler so good!!

This was my first visit to the breakfast corner. And it was well worth the drive from Lake St. Louis. I asked the server for recommendations and their most popular country sampler at everything I went with scrambled eggs, potatoes that are perfectly seasoned. Classic French toast and chicken sausage. It was amazing. Literally the best breakfast I've had. This is also a very nice restaurant inside not like a typical diner, comfy boost, and chairs at the tables. Great service food came out fast and hot. Everything was outstanding and delicious even if you don't live in the area. It is worth the drive.

Yes and Yes! I'm super excited to have located a new favorite for Breakfast! From the outside the space looks small, but it's not. Quoted a 30 min wait for 3 around 11a on a Sunday and it took maybe 15 min. Booth seats, very comfortable. Space is super clean, friendly staff and the bsck/white photos of StL landmarks was a nice touch. The Corner Breakfast with Waffle add Harvest toppings, crispy bacon, eggs scrambled with American and potatoes. Potatoes are my favorite food and when I tell you at the first bite I was hooked, you best know it's true! Crispy bits, onions and balanced seasoning! The waffle was amazing! Slightly crispy outside with soft middle, thr banana and strawberry topping with a little syrup was a wonderful delight. Perfectly cooked eggs and bacon rounded out the meal. At under $15, this was a huge value!!! Excited to try other menu options!

I came here early this morning to check this place out and it didn't disappoint I'm not sure what the place used to be before but it looks really nice inside and you can tell it's new. I sat at the bar (per usual) and was immediately given water. After a couple mins, I decided on the pesto chicken bowl and a piece of toast (surprise surprise). I get the bartender was making drinks but even when I tried to make eye contact to let her know I was ready to order, it took forever. Once she did put it in, the wait was minimal and they finally brought my food. The pesto and chicken combo were clutch. While the potatoes were good, the dish probably could have gone without it. The piece of bread I had was good as well. The dish itself is filling and I certainly enjoyed it. They've got a lot of great things to choose from, which gives me an excuse to go back!

The food was delicious. It couldn't been service a bit hotter and the omelet a bit softer, but it was good. Roomy, clean dining room, friendly staff, and fast service.

This place gets pretty packed on the weekends, but I love to see it! While waiting to be seated during my most recent visit, I ordered coffee at the bar area, and it was great having something to sip on before getting sat at my table. I had a brown sugar shaken espresso, and it was so yummy. Staff is so incredibly friendly and hardworking. The inside is so bright, clean, modern, and trendy. Such good vibes! I feel like you really can't go wrong with anything on the menu. Highly recommend the avocado toast. The bread is fresh and soft but still has a nice little crunch. All of the fruit I had in both my side dish and on top of my waffle was perfectly ripe. The chocolate chip pancake is HUGE. In my opinion, it could've used just a few more chocolate chips on top, but that's only because I'm a chocolate enthusiast and can never seem to have enough! But out of all the food I've tried here, the POTATOES... oh my gosh. Cooked to absolute perfection. I'm definitely going to check out some of their lunch menu next time I visit since I've only had their breakfast items!

I've been wanting to come here for a minute and so happy I did. Great attentive service. Such a spacious, bright and cheerful place. Awesome menu. We ordered the Classic Benny and Chicken Pesto.that Chicken pesto Skillet was the TRUE STAR of the table. Tender potatoes and seasoned with plenty of pesto, hands down a winner!

3 little piggies had great flavor just wish it would have been hotter
    Jennifer E.

We decided to give them a try. We were told we would have a 15 minute wait but it was really less than 5 minutes. We were seated and looked over the menu. Husband decided on the 3 little piggies and I decided the get the BLTE. Service was great. When the food came out it was barely warm. We dont like to complain. We told the our waitress that the food was barely warm. She told us that she wishes they could turn the lamp on higher. Cute little set up for a breakfast place.

Well, I no longer live in STL and I am finally checking it out. Now that I have, I am pissed at myself that I didn't try it sooner. I stopped by for lunch and enjoyed a Nova Gyro that was served with a side of fries. For a minimal up-charge, I had them add Feta Cheese to mine. When the Gyro arrived, it was super huge. It was so big, I could hardly pick it up to take a bite. I ended up eating part of it as a salad with a fork until I could finally pick it up and eat it like a true Gyro. The gyro meat was well seasoned and tender. It was smothered in their house made tzatziki sauce and wrapped in a warm Pita. The toppings were plentiful and they were; sliced red onion, shredded crisp lettuce, cucumbers and vine ripe tomatoes. Adding the Feta Cheese, was a wise move. It added, an extra Greek kick to the Gyro. My glass of Pinot Grigio was a perfect accompaniment to my lunch. With it being super huge, I took a third of it home and made a salad out of it for dinner. The only negative, is their take home vessels are styrofoam and not eco-friendly. The service was attentive and friendly. My server was training a new gentleman and think he's going to do a great job. I'm already thinking about a return visit, because I need to try the baklava. Decor is great, rustic brick with plenty of plants, pops of red on black with a classy black leather booth sitting area -- very cozy -- and a patio outside. I've seen reviews lambasting the smoke and some stating there's no smoke smell at all. My experience here is somewhere in the middle. If you've ever been out of country to a small local cafe, it adds to the atmosphere, but if a whiff of tobacco ruins the feel, be aware that some patrons do smoke on the patio, and the smell does drift inside. Service was very quick. I swung by because my fiber cut out at home and I wanted a place to game on a Sunday night. Don't know how relevant this is to anyone else, but the wifi here is great -- 180 MBPS and stable. Barista was very friendly and told me to get comfy with my setup. Owner peeked in to say "Oh we have a DJ!" Seems like a charismatic guy, he was out there entertaining the regulars for quite some time. Otherwise didn't bother me, which I appreciated. Over all a great local place. $8 gets you a quality drink and quality company if you're for that, and quality wifi if you're not. 10/10 introvert recommended, would come back even without my fiber going out.

I'd just done a training run that began and ended at the shoe store across the street. At the conclusion, I was given a Paloma-flavored non-alcoholic beer, courtesy of one of my running group's sponsors, but what was I supposed to do with that? It was decided that we needed coffee. (How ironic, by the way. Receiving a free beer from your sponsor.) We seem to have gotten there just in time. There was already a healthy crowd of people who apparently weren't runners, based on their physique (lol jk), and several people from our running group arrived after we did. People apparently like this place. The vibe is quirky and independent, with a lot of random decor, including a Blues Brothers poster and a sign declaring that the Teletubbies are welcome, and a lot of local-interest signage and artwork. People in the City love to remind themselves that they're in St. Louis. You never see anything like that in my native West County. Truth be told, I wouldn't even go into a coffee shop unless someone else suggested it. It costs less at QT. But I figured when in Rome. I wasn't about to get a sandwich, in part because I wasn't hungry, and in part because I'm always wary of food from places that specialize in coffee, but I figured I'd try one of their fancy coffee drinks instead of just a regular coffee. I went with something called a Zippity Do Da, or something to that effect. It was a latte, served hot or cold (I of course went with hot), with... if I'm not mistaken, peanut butter, honey and mocha. I liked the idea that there was a peanut butter element, in part because I couldn't imagine what that would be like. Peanut butter, even the welfare version you get at Aldi, is at least somewhat viscous. Was this going to be more like a milkshake? That could be gross, and grossly caloric, canceling out any benefit of my training run. Of course I was going to drink it anyway. Turns out that the peanut butter was the element that was least prominent in the overall taste of this drink, though you could in fact taste it. I found it impressive that, if you concentrated hard enough, you could detect elements of peanut butter, honey and mocha. It's like when you purchase a fancy bottle of wine, from, perhaps, the aforementioned Aldi, and you really can taste bits of oak, vanilla, campfire and a slight nuttiness. No Diddy. These people are true coffee artists, the cafe equivalent of people who work at Subway. I'm at the nearby shoe store every once in a while, so maybe I'll return. I might even cop a bagel.

I was also given a taster of their apple crisp with my first order, which was very delicious and will be a great addition to any holiday meal. The maple glazed doughnut was soft, a perfect classic. The cranberry ginger jam was delicious and punchy, but could have used a little something on the actual doughnut to balance out how strong it was. I enjoyed both kolaches; the everything seasoning one is well reminiscent of the classic bagel and schmear with its cream cheese center, and the three cheese bacon had good sized strips of bacon baked in.
