So happy to have found this church upon moving to Warrenton. Vibrant youth group, solid connection groups, and true biblical preaching.

We visited The Bridge Community Church on 3/10/24 for their 10:15 AM service. This is a large church with a beautiful facility. As with many large, contemporary churches, the service conveyed a kind of "polish" and "production," though everything was offered with sincerity and passion, and the very full crowd responded with enthusiasm. The music was professional level, and the audio/video system is top-notch. The message (on John 9) was given by a guest speaker, and it was terrific -- a clear and compelling look at scripture, focusing on the biblical content without an effort to be "clever" or formulaic. Announcements were conveyed by video, and they indicated a lot of upcoming opportunities to be involved in various activities. Our impression of the kids' program shows an attention to safety and engagement, and this is clearly a priority for the church. Similarly, it was great to see a few rows in the front of the church filled with attentive youth who clearly enjoy connections to one another and to their church. It would be possible to remain fairly anonymous in the crowd here. In fact, other than the Greeter at the door, nobody in the church spoke with us during our visit. However, the church seems to have done a great job organizing small Connect Groups and relationship-based activities that would make it possible for anyone to plug in socially. There was also an information table that was handing out gift bags and information about the church to first-time visitors. Coffee was offered in a space off the lobby, but there were no lids for the cups (and a sign outside the sanctuary said that drinks couldn't be brought in without a lid, so we skipped this). Parking was a bit of a challenge because people were exiting from the previous service just as we were arriving, but we were fortunate to find a space in the front lot. Leaving was more challenging because cars were lined up to exit the lot, and it took a while before someone waited and allowed us to back our car out. read more

My wife and I attended services at The Bridge this morning for the first time, looking for a Church after recently moving to Warrenton. Facilities were fresh, new and contemporary. Walking into sanctuary, music was upbeat and musicians accomplished. Pastor Hackett's message was exceedingly thought provoking and instigated immediate introspection. We will be back. read more

The Bridge is a warm and vibrant church with preaching that speaks to real people in simple language. The pastor holds a doctorate degree in divinity and is a certified life coach, which seems to result in a deep understanding of scripture that is conveyed to the congregation in simple real life language. The newly constructed church has a warm and intimate feel - unlike the "big box" churches that often look like a gymnasium with a makeover. The children's wing is decorated with bright colors and hand-painted murals. The teens meet in the "white box", which is a room specifically designed for multimedia presentations on 3 walls. The youth pastor is passionate, alive, cool and absolutely loves kids. He is also the leader of worship. The worship music is upbeat and lead by a group of about 6 to 10 singers and musicians, which include drums, electric guitars and keyboard. One of the unique aspects of the church is the cafe' and lobby area. The cafe' serves fresh coffee before, during and after services and the lobby is laid out with "living room" areas furnished with sofas, chairs and tables (similar to a fine hotel lobby). This combination cafe'/living area encourages personal interactions before and after the services. Another unique tool for personal growth and fellowship is the dozens of "connection groups" within the church. These are small groups that meet in homes and other places that target specific interests and needs within the congregation. Groups range from in-depth Bible study to motorcycle riders to Celebrate Recovery to a group of guys that just want to hang-out in a garage and play pool and ping-pong. Overall, The Bridge Church is a place where you will be loved as you are, encouraged to grow into what God wants you to be and have fun along the way. read more
