I did the Groupon to give this location a try for 4-5 weeks. Overall, you get what you paid for and…read morewas not terribly impressed. Workouts are good. The location is a bit shady especially in the dark mornings/evenings. The bathroom rarely had soap. I also showed up for a 6:15am class that was all of a sudden cancelled without notice, but was still posted on the board. My first time, the trainer forgot I made an appointment for my intake and he was a bit annoyed. He also later forgot to send me the diet plan. He didn't explain anything about the program or that I had to weigh in... Whatever, I wasn't interested in that as I just wanted the work outs. The workouts are great, only 30 minutes, so don't slack off. It's a VERY small space for 10-12 people so sometimes the work outs were tough due to space. My biggest issue was the amount of yapping/complaining some of the girls made during the workouts. The trainer does nothing to minimize it and just chit chats with them during the workouts. However this is my preference as I like tough trainers who cut out the crap and whiners.

Fit Body Boot Camp is the best 30 minute HIT group workout I have ever experienced. What makes this better than the gym is you have other group members motivating you, pushing through the same workout you are doing. I enjoyed the one in San Bernardino because the trainers are motivating and even though the workouts are quick they are tough, but you feel so good after you can go for a double. I highly recommend this gym !

A challenge is not a challenge if it was easy right? I first learned about The Camp Transformation…read moreCenter Riverside after I've seen a few friends successfully complete the 6 week 20lb challenge. Seeing how it changed their lives, it sparked my interest, but not enough to try. Fast forward 9 years and 35lbs, I finally decided to try the challenge for myself. I will let you in on my thoughts during those 6 grueling weeks. On orientation day, the trainers discussed the program, the diet plan, and the term FTDI, which is short for "follow the damn instructions". They then demonstrated proper form for some of the common exercises and made sure we understood so that we don't injure ourselves. After the orientation, I felt pumped and ready to go! Now onto the first workout session. The first session will always be the hardest since everything is new and unfamiliar. I didn't know what a HIIT (high-intensity interval training) workout was, nor did I know how effective it can be. My first thought after the inaugural workout was "what the hell did I sign myself up for?". After the first week, things became familiar, and workouts became less intimidating and somewhat fun (but still intense nonetheless). The diet was by far the biggest hurdle I had to face. The hardest part was trying to keep up with eating every 2-3 hours in set portion sizes. Also, there are only so many ways to prepare tilapia and chicken breast before it becomes repetitive. Week 5 was especially difficult for me due to a loss in motivation. I'm not sure if it was from the diet or if I was just feeling a bit burnt out from pushing myself. Whatever the case was, I took a couple days of rest and felt like myself again. Overall, my experience with the 20bl challenge at The Camp Transformation Center Riverside was positive. Would I recommend this place to you? Yes. Would I recommend the 6 week 20lb challenge? Yes. Is it easy? No. Will you lose 20lbs? well.. it depends on if you FTDI

I went in to what was a try out, got asked if I wanted to sign in got charged $160 then I called…read morethe following morning to speak to a manager why I got charged $160 they mentions it was an error they were going to re compensate that error I told them that I closed out my residence in Redlands so if I can just get my month back and they said yes I contacted Redlands and nothing yet. And as I see on my card they charged $62 despite me not going. So the fact I wasn't provided with accurate information this is very disappointing I went to one class and got charged over $200 and I can't get addressed Over this matter. Check the hidden fees and speak to a personal in person and not on the phone as you won't get accurate information.
