Smoked Old Fashioned. Chose Whistle Pig 10-Year. Whew, quite strong!
    Jenn R.

Sometimes, the best part of losing money in a casino is going to one of their restaurants afterward and indulging in fancy cocktails and desserts. THE FOOD. - Strawberry Shortcake | The butter pound cake is unreal; moist and delicately spongy. And for the record, adding strawberry ice cream and fresh strawberries is not overkill; it's reinforcing its theme. Highly recommend. - Tahitian Vanilla & Citrus Crème Brûlée | Vanilla bean custard with citrus syrup and berries. Another delicious dessert to try out! THE DRUNK DRINKS. - Smoked Old Fashioned | Chose Woodford Reserve and our bartender dropped some cherry bitters. The verdict? Smooth, smoky, and harmoniously sweet. - Smoked Old Fashioned | Chose Whistle Pig 10-Year. Whew, quite strong! - Founders Porter | Campfire smokiness and delicious. - Painkiller | Rumdiddlyumptious. Tropical and pain medicated coconut. What does that even mean? Who knows. THE VIBE. Modern, yet classy affair. Photos associated with the racetrack are hung prominently on their walls. We sat at the bar which had comfortable seats and plenty of counter space. Our bartender was so helpful and a great conversationalist. THE PARKING. Free parking, but it can be a challenge. We had to circle a few times before finding something and it was far away from the entrance. COMING BACK? Would love to return and try out their lunch or dinner menu.

We've been here several times before, the bartender is experienced and conversation is great the food however was typical. This visit howeve,r was alit different. The service was excellent and the food was phenomenal! The chef's pairing on the menu was definitely skilled. We had the seabass, house Salad, pumpkin bisque soup, clam chowder, and truffle asparagus along with any espresso martini and a black orchid cocktail. Everything was excellent . The Bugler bought their A game with service, food and drinks. From the moment we walked in to minute we walked out. Everyone was at your service. They even validated our valet parking ticket and that top of the evening. We'll will be back to my new favorite restaurant in got springs

Great cocktails, food and appetizers. The view of the track is beautiful. Tranquil break from the casino.

Stunning view of the track! We loved our entire experience at the Bugler. Our waitress was wonderful, Jocelyn, was so knowledgeable, gave great recommendations and was just so professional! Our drinks were all great and strong so definitely worth the money! We tried margarita, sangria, old fashioned and one of the local beers. All were great! Now for the food- we started with the small complimentary starter from the chef which was a homemade pita bread with homemade humas- I am not a humas fan and this was incredible!!! It melted in your mouth. The rolls with the two different types of butter was also super good. I got the crab cakes which were extremely good, I always have low expectations for seafood not on the coast but these were very tasty! Other dishes ordered at our table: sea bass, pork chop, creole shrimp & grits, and the special which was a spicy tuna dish. Everything was wonderful! Only negative feedback was the tuna dish was maybe a little too spicy, that there wasn't much flavor. Thanks for a wonderful evening!

We had a great experience at the Bugler. Our service was top notch, the restaurant was clean & beautiful and the food was incredible. I ordered the miso marinated sea bass, my husband ordered the scallops & someone else in our party ordered the pork chop. Everyone loved their food & we will definitely be back next time we are in Hot Springs!

    Truffle fries with Bernaise sauce

My husband and I stopped in for a couple of appetizers and cocktails. Five stars is an understatement. The restaurant is beautiful with enormous windows overlooking horse racing. We sat at the bar and had one of the most delightful experiences with bartender Heather. She is the genius behind the custom seasonal cocktail creations. Her bar is meticulously clean and filled with all kinds of beautiful fresh fruit and perfectly sliced dried fruits and peppers. We especially loved the Fever Tree elderflower bottled tonic. We ordered the French onion soup (some of the best we've had) and Heather recommended the truffle fries to go with it. I think we got around 5 pounds of potatoes for the $11 side. My husband and I could each only eat 2-3. I believe they are baked potatoes, sliced into massive wedges and then fried before being sprinkled with truffle oil and dusted with truffle flake. Drool. I loved the bernaise sauce on the side as a dip--made the potatoes taste like steak. My husband preferred to dip them in our soup. If you are gambling in the casino, stop by to have Heather make you a drink to go instead of getting a standard drink on the casino floor. You won't be disappointed.

Phenomenal service, refreshing ambience, and incredible menu. Everything was presented impeccably, and we'd like to thank our incredible server, Mr. Joel K, for his 5-star performance. Will return.

The ambience is just so elegant and romantic. The menu lights up as you open it and everything on it sounded delicious. The servers, Peter and Emily, were so fun and helpful! They brought out these heavenly yeast rolls basted in truffle butter...what??? I got the market fish special which was grouper, and my husband got the grilled pork chop. Come with an empty stomach if you get the pork chop. It is a very generous portion and is delicious! The grouper was perfection...crispy on the outside, light and flakey inside, sitting atop beautiful spring vegetables and a lovely light beurre blanc sauce. It was topped with edible flowers and micro greens. I regret that I did not take a photo (we were so hungry), but it was just divine. The chef came over to ask what we thought and we told him everything was amazing. The staff were absolutely lovely. We can't say enough good things. This is what a restaurant experience on vacation should be like. What a gem! Hopefully next time we visit we can try the dessert menu! We won't even get into how they make bread pudding out of those delicious rolls...

We happened to stumble upon this gem randomly during our trip to Hot Springs, Arkansas not expecting much but wow were we absolutely blown away. First, you walk into a dimly lit, intimate dining area and seated at a table with very comfy chairs and menus that light up for visibility. Next, your waiter is SO knowledgeable about every item on the menu. I had history lessons about the rice production in the area while learning about which dishes to choose. While waiting for your food, you are served an edgy orange-glazed dinner roll that is simultaneously intriguing and comfortingly familiar. A delicious twist on a classic. The head chef also came around serving an amuse-bouche of another experimental apple dish which was an explosion of flavor in my mouth. Food comes- oh my goodness I cannot explain how amazing the Chislic beef tips were. Every component of this dish was just so thoughtfully crafted and well-blended. Each bite was bursting with flavor and energy. My partner also loved the potato soup. Our mains were equally impressive- my fennel rice in particular knocked my socks off. I have never tasted rice so decadent and aromatic in my life. The salmon was of course great but certainly not the star of the show. Finally, the bread pudding at the end was the cherry on top of the culinary bliss we had just experienced. I would drive 10 hours back to Hot Springs just for this restaurant. So sad it has to be so far. Do not miss your opportunity to come here if you happen to be in town!!

It's a cozy dining room with a small bar (seats about 4.) Not a huge place so reservations are recommended. Staff were super friendly. When you walk into the bathhouse, you can't see the restaurant. Someone at the front desk takes you back to it. The gentleman that took us back was very welcoming. He walked us to our table and gave us information about the menu. If you walk into and no one is at the desk, it's because it takes a moment for them to walk guests back. Be patient. We both had the Vintage Breakfast and it was cooked perfectly. My husband had the Morningrita wish was really good. I had their Classic Bloody Mary. Their mix is made in-house and is great. Delicious, yes... but the body eventually starts asking for a vegetable and a reset. The space itself matches that feeling. Simply decorated, with bright murals, clean lines, and a cheerful, easygoing vibe that feels light the moment you walk in. My husband gave me full ordering authority, which is always a bold move. I went straight into tapas mode because everything on the menu looked too good to choose just one. We ended up with a spread: chicken pot pie (which quickly abandoned any "small plate" intentions), field greens and baby spinach, a shrimp and crawfish cake, and one of each of Rosy's authentic hand-rolled tamales. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and satisfying without that heavy, road-trip food fatigue. The mint lemonade was refreshing and delicious, a little on the sweet side, but it worked. Service, while perfectly fine, could benefit from a warmer welcome and a bit more guidance, especially for first-timers trying to navigate such an inviting menu. A little extra friendliness up front would go a long way here. Our only real regret? Not saving room for dessert. They looked very tempting, and we'll be thinking about that missed opportunity. If you're on the road and craving something lighter without sacrificing flavor, this spot is a welcome pause.
