I've used this company.... 3 or 4 times and this time will be the last. It's gotten significantly more expensive to use, but the biggest issue is the lack of communication on pickup. you request pick up and they send you an email that says... thank you. Then you wait. maybe they'll pick it up tomorrow, maybe they'll pick it up in 3 weeks. when you reach out to ask them what's happening and when they are picking it up, they basically tell you to be patient and they will come pick it up some day. then one day as some point in the future they come and take it, who knows when. seems to always take weeks though. for the cost and how long it ends up sitting here it's just not worth it. I have ordered for it to be picked up before I even set it up because I assumed it would take forever for them to get it, and they wont keep you informed of whats going on. No call "hey we will be there tomorrow" it's a great idea, and the bag is a good size for home projects or cleanouts etc. but back when it was $300ish, I would deal with it. But all of that lack of communication annnd it's $550 to pick it up. eh, I'll find an alternative. read more

Easy to set up, just as expensive as a 10 yard roll off and a roll off you can fit way more. Also the roll of company I use picks up the next day. Bull bag can take up to two weeks. Then the $38.25 environmental impact fee on top of it all. Yeah right. You mean the line their pocket fee. How does $38.25 reduce the environmental impact. Guess what it doesn't. I LOVE THE BULL BAG!!! These things are the absolute best, I'm obsessed! I've use them multiple times. I'm always cleaning and throwing things out, I hate clutter! The Bull Bag is so easy to set up and so convenient-I run to Home Depot, buy the bag for 40 bucks, it takes 15 minutes to set up, and it looks nice in the my driveway (it's not some dingy old rusted dumpster that smells). I called customer service to schedule a pick up and the gentleman I spoke to was the nicest guy ever! He and I had a conversation like he was my friend and I knew him forever, he was great! I have used Bullbag on numerous occasions and recently their service has degarded. I used to be able to do 4 - 6 - 8 yard pricing now only 8 yard pricing exists. Even better, my last pickup they were told to replace the bag as it was torn and corner supports broken and all they did was roll it up and leave it broken and old even though the pickup order said to replace and reset. Calling them up they tell me I can go buy a new one and they will credit my next pickup instead of giving a price refund so I can replace it on my own. No more for these guys. read more

I used this service twice. Both times the pickup was delayed. The second time they did not show up to pick it up, so had a third party bring the trash to the dump. Bull Bag did not return my $ 527.25, and offered me a credit, which I may never use. I have requested a refund and have yet to see it, 2 weeks and counting... I did get this bag from a Home Depot, and will let them know of the situation, it reflects poorly on Home Depot and I know they don't want the negative publicity. read more

We have been waiting for more than 2 weeks for a prepaid pickup service. Yesterday, when we finally got someone on the phone, we were told that they had emptied our dumpster. When we questioned that, since we actually watched them empty a neighbors bag on the day they claim to have emptied ours and ours was never emptied, we were told that they had done the work and then the representative accused us of refilling the bag. The customer service person stated they had photos of our bag and our house from the date of service. After discussing details of our house and our bag location, the representative finally agreed that they had serviced the wrong house. She then stated that she can't do anything to get the truck back out to our house until a manager reviews the complaint, the driver's information and the photos. That manager will likely be out all next week as it is thanksgiving week. So, we are left with the bag full and no way to empty it as well as no way to continue our demo work during the holiday break. There is no avenue for escalating our complaint until someone higher is back from vacation. So, we will be stuck with this full bag for 3 weeks instead of the initial 2-5 days quoted. We will definitely be using a different service for the remainder of this project. This is our second time using bull bag. First time was easy with quick prompt service. This time, we are so disappointed at the sheer disregard and disrespectful treatment of our time and our money... they require payment upfront for the pickup. So, we will be looking into our options for filing a fraud claim based on services not rendered through our credit card company. read more

We had to clear out our basement which we somehow failed to realized acquired more junk than you see on the opening credits of Sanford & Son. After realizing what a rip off some of the other options were, we decided to try the bull bag. My only critique is we couldn't completely set up the bags properly as the PVC pipes that came with it- which one installs in the corners to provide support- simply would not fit. But we were able to put most of the pipe in. We filled it up twice, scheduled a pickup online and boom! Clean basement. Great customer service as well. They made it a point to squeeze us in before yet another impending blizzard, and the phone staff couldn't have been nicer. Overall, a very smooth process. At first I was very satisfied with the product. The bag was large, strong and instructions were straight forward. However, when the driver came to pick up the bag, the bag ripped when loading onto the truck. Prior to loading I inspected the bag with the driver in person and he confirmed the load did not exceed the 4yd line and that I was good to go. The instructions clearly state I cannot exceed the 4yd line if I have concrete waste. Because the bag was half full with concrete, I remained at that line. Once the bag ripped, the driver said he would speak with the office to request a bag on my behalf. He confirmed a sales person could swing by to drop a bag off, likely a used one. I agreed and waited. Nothing happened so a couple of weeks after I inquired by sending an email to their support staff. I received a response but I was told that I needed to purchase another bag to receive a credit to be applied to the fees for my next pick up for the cost of the one that was ripped. I was not ready to schedule a pick up any time soon and would prefer to keep a bag on hand since I paid for it, and the product's appeal is that you can keep the bag. I could go on for a while here because this issue has been going on since October 2021 and here we are in March 2022 and there has not been a resolution. I also received a message from their Chief Administration Officer who offered the credit that I later refused because I instead would like the bag that I paid for. I have been asking for a response since Nov 2021 and no one has gotten back to me. I ended up calling support and received confirmation a bag would be shipped to me but nothing arrived. I called to have the bag picked up-- it was picked up 15 days later. Every time I called they said it was scheduled-- great! Then my tenant would tell me that it was still at the property-- not great. The company never took responsibility-- they continue ti say 'we have no control over the MAJOR flooding' but that isn't sometime I wanted them to have control over-- I just wanted them to reach out to ME to let me know what was going on and when I could expect them. Pretty standard customer service-- keep me in the loop so I don't have to call you 17 times a day to have one conversation with someone. The flooding in Houston did delay service for my pick-up but it didn't jump into their office and cut the internet-- they chose to not communicate. Our driver was at your neighbor's house a couple of days prior to you calling in an order. You declined, now after a major storm and flooding hit the Houston area, we were not able to service for many days or even get out of the town due to roads closed and MAJOR flooding. Eventually yes longer than expectation your bag was picked up with no trouble. You spoke to customer service multiple times, they assured you were still on schedule but could not give you a day and time, this was not a lack of communication, this was a lack of knowledge when mother nature would allow us to start running normal times again. Bull Bag of Killingworth arrived at our door to pick up their bag from another business that did some remodeling for us. The guy with the truck was a jerk. He didn't introduce himself, didn't say hello, just "move your car". He backed up, took the contents of the bag, then drove off. Then we noticed our entire mailbox was missing. It was there before he came. Couldn't find it in the street. We surmised he hit the box and knocked it off the granite pedestal and instead of admitting to it, he scooped up the box with any of that day's mail in it and high tailed it. We called but he refused to admit he was at fault. We reported it to the police and the US Postal Department. We took money off from the remodelers' bill to purchase a new box, and I sure hope they subtracted that from BullBag's bill. What a creep! read more

This morning on my way into work I passed a "The Bull Bag" truck and realized I could probably use them to get rid of an old kitchen I had just demolished. A bit later in the day when I was driving across state I called to see what the prices were and how the bull bag thing works. The woman who answered my call was very professional and very helpful, taking the time to explain how everything worked. I told her what area of the state I was driving to l and from and she took the time to look up locations where I could purchase the bag on the way. Unfortunately I didn't have time to stop but I called back later in the day. A different woman answered the phone this time and again was very helpful as I told her I was headed from New Haven to Middletown she looked up stores I could stop at that were on my way. I also asked her where to locate the bag and she looked the house up on google earth and told me the best spot to put the bag in the yard. After I purchased the bag and brought it to its destination, setup was a breeze! Took me about 5 minutes. Crooks took my money and denied receiving payment even when I emailed them a paypal receipt! I ordered and paid for a bullbag using paypal. A few days later I received an email stating my order had been shipped. The we got a phone call saying we were out of their service area and that our order would be canceled and the money would be refunded. No problem so far. After a period of time went by, I had forgotten about the order as I order alot of items online. One day while checking my paypal account I saw that the money for the bullbag order had never been refunded. I contacted Victoria vjacobs@thebullbag.com by email then called her. She tried to say they never got the order and the money was taken out of my paypal account. I even sent the paypal receipt proving it. She continued to argue that accounting didn't receive the money. Here is her email response: The accounting department researched this and found that although you have a paid receipt, the paypal payment never posted to our account was returned to yours. Therefore no refund directly from us was necessary. I called her on the phone and explained the situation and she still refused to return my money. Then I mentioned I was deployed to Afghanistan and she couldn't appologize enough and said she was going out and the money would be in my account that day. As you can guess, the money was never sent no phone call received, nor any emails. She even asked for my bank account information and routing number. Buyers beware of this company. I've had a good experience and told others of it. I found out about the Bull Bag from friends that are contractors and recommended I try it. My project is cleaning our large basement and garage. We've lived here for 30+ years and, honestly, I have way too much stuff I'm going to "use someday". Sorting is taking a long time. I had the bag emptied in December before the snow came. I called and they were there the next day to pick up. This past weekend I decided I could set up again as we will not likely get a big accumulation now. I had not noticed the bag was ripped from when they picked up. I called and they are shipping me another bag, no charge, today. The customer service person was polite and solved my problem right away. I'd make sure you are in their service area first, but if you are then use this product. Purchased our first Bull Bag per recommendation from a Home Depot employee. Got close to filling our first bag, got on line to schedule a pick up, and heard nothing by noon on Monday. Called in and was told, "yes, you are on the list for tomorrow." Tuesday rolled around, and close to the end of the day, called back in to be told "it takes 48 hours to get picked up." Explained by the time these guys got to us, we would have TWO FULL BAGS! On Wednesday, got charged for a second pickup, and received a call at 11 am the driver would be there in one hour. Three p.m., still no driver, and out of room in our TWO BULL BAGS. Attempted to talk to management which had just left the building. He did call back, and apologized, and offered to pick us up at 6 a.m. Thursday morning and refund the cost of the THIRD BAG, NOT A REDUCED RATE FOR PICK UP! We were told multiple times that they were "coming today" to pick up the bag. 3 calls and a week later they finally picked it up. When they did, the driver drove over my grass/garden almost taking out my lamp post, it had been raining that day. Left huge tire tracks on the grass next to my driveway and smushed the border surrounding my garden so far into the grass I'll never get it out. I sent an email right away complaining and it has gone unanswered. My contractor called to see if he could get a response because he was equally frustrated and the driver and his supervisor said the tire tracks did not belong to their truck and it wasn't them......I was home and watching the entire time. Very disappointed, will never use or recommend this company again. If you mess up, don't deny it like a coward, any decent company would make it right or AT LEAST apologize! read more
