I've eaten off this truck a few times. They came to my work place and they where serving their chicken sliders and the cheese burger sliders with tater tats. The food came out fast and the tater tats where cooked perfectly. The chicken slider had gravy on them and the chicken is fried. This is a slider so they are small but the flavor Its big. The chicken has a nice coating. The cheese burger has grilled onions on them. They are so good.

Mini gourmet sliders on the go. Great execution by these group of entrepreneurs. An American & Asian fusion cuisine that is perfect for lunch. Their K-BBQ slider was sweet and savory. Thinly sliced bulgogi meat that has pickled veggies to cut out the richness of the steak. The fried crispy pork belly slider had a nice crunch. The fatty belly was accompanied by freshly chopped green onions. Overall, the price was good and the taste of these two sliders would give me a reason to come back to try the other sliders.

A well established food truck. There are numerous food trucks that post next to our office to catch the lunch crowd and The Burnt Truck is always a reliable choice! There are a lot more misses on food truck foods due to the saturated food truck market, trust me, I've had many food truck purchase regrets. (Tip: check Yelp first!) What I appreciated about the Burnt Truck is there easy mix n match menu of sliders, which are reasonably priced. The cheeseburger slider wasn't dry and had great toppings and you can never go wrong with some tots- takes your memory back to a childhood snack. Love me some tots!

This is the ultimate food truck when you are the mood for sliders! From regular cheeseburger to fried chicken to PBJ to Chinese bbq sliders just to name a few! As for sides, they have French fries and tater totes. I ended up getting the combo which I chose cheeseburger and fried chicken with potatoes and gravy sliders with tater totes and it comes with a can soda. It's a bit salty for my taste or else it would have my full 5 stars! Definitely worth trying, you won't be disappointed!

My boyfriend and I went to this food truck gathering in HB, and we went to three food truck - this one being one. Out of the three, this was our least favorite. Just...Eh. Wasn't overly impressed. We got three sliders: Fried chicken: this was lacking flavor. It was pretty bland with the bun and mash potatoes. The chicken, though not dry, also didn't burst with flavor. The spam and egg: this was beautifully done. The quail egg was perfectly fried. I had high hopes for this one after the fried chicken but...it was sweeter than I expected. When I think of spam, it's salty and savory and not sweet. So..mixed feelings about this one. Fried mozzarella: this was the best of the three. It had a tomato sauce and an aioli of some sort. Good flavor, and the breading for the mozzarella was that of a mozzarella stick - with spices. To be honest...for $3 a slider, we most likely won't be going to this food truck again when there are other options.

OMG THESE SLIDERS ARE SO DELICIOUS!! Had to write about them right away!! :) My friends have been raving about the Burnt Truck and for years I've been meaning to check it out. I LOVE sliders!! So I was really excited when I got a text message informing me that they would be at a really convenient location!! The workers are SO nice. I was being indecisive... Sasha recommended the Vietnamese Pork Sliders ($3), but I just felt like the pickled carrot and daikon taste is too mundane. So instead I got the Pulled Pork Slider (3) in the Chef's Specials section and also the Sloppy Joe Slider ($3). The sliders tasted perfect. The bread was lightly toasted and the sliders had great flavors to them. I really like the banana peppers in the Sloppy Joe cause that's really original!! My only complaint is that they're SO SMALL O_O' They're smaller than regular sliders which are small to begin with. This kind of explains why she kept insisting that I got something else too. Overall, I really enjoyed them and I will definitely come back. They're just a bit overpriced relative to their size... Next time I definitely want to try the Carne Asada Fries ($7) if I have a friend to come along and share it with me!!! ~~ Editing my review cause it was so delicious, I walked back in two hours to try their Fried Chicken Sliders ($2.50). My friend and I were texting and he said those were his favs so I was like, I wanna try that too!! And OMG good thing I was a fatty and came back!! KFC sliders got nothing on these!! They were SO NICE!! Cause since they recognized me, they also threw in the PB&J sliders (usually $2.50) just so I could try it!!! It served as a nice dessert to my 'dinner' :) Thank you Burnt Truck!! I love you guys!!!!!!!!!

Where can you find MaryAnne W.? In line at The Burnt Truck of course! I got to OC Din Din A Go Go a little late tonight thanks to traffic. I couldn't track down my food truckin' buddy but I should have known better and just headed here. Tonight I got to sample some more of your specialties - the fried chicken, the BLT slider, and PB&J. I loved the fried chicken. What a great combination of country gravy, mashed potatoes, fried chicken, and garlic spread. Yum! However I think the BLT is my favorite. I'm quickly becoming a fan of bacon and I loved the fried tomato. I'm wondering if I should try this with a quail egg. My tots were a little undercooked though. I definitely prefer them a little crispier than they were but that's OK; the PB&J was just brilliant.

I got to try the Burnt Truck when I went to the Sugar Rush: cupcake extravanganza event. This was one of trucks there and there was a fair amount of folks in line. Luckily the line moved pretty quickly and we were able to place are orders quickly too. Unfortunately because of the amount of people at the event, the Burnt Truck sold out quickly a majority of their items. They no longer had the meatball sliders or the Vietnamese sliders and those were the two I wanted to try. They also ran out of bottled water. Another sad thing was though they had bags of tator tots and fries, we were told they weren't going to cook those anymore =/. I ended up ordering the fried chicken sliders and the chicken katsu sliders. I may have gotten the last fried chicken slider because they soon posted a sold out sign for those too. Though they took our orders fairly quickly, the time for the orders to come out was another story. There was a long wait and I couldn't quite understand the order of how the food came out. Some folks who came later than my friends and I, got their orders quicker even though they had similar orders to us. It was kinda weird. When I finally got my order, the guy at the truck gave me a warm smile and a hello...hmm perhaps to appease the long wait? Lol! Price-wise, the sliders were decent. $2.50 is not bad but then again these are small sliders so maybe $2.50 is not really that cheap. Taste-wise, I found it decent as well. Between the fried chicken slider and the katsu slider, I liked the fried chicken better. The fried chicken one was buttermilk fried chicken with garlic potato spread and country gravy. It was a little bit messy to eat but I liked how it wasn't dry. They piled on that gravy! The katsu slider was the opposite. I found the katsu slider to be a tad bit dry. The katsu was their special of the day. It had panko breaded chicken, Japanese curry and pickled radish. There wasn't that much curry in there and this may have contributed to the dryness of the slider. Hehe too much gravy on one and too little curry in the other. I think both sliders would have been a lot yummier if they were a bit warmer. I think with the amount of folks waiting in line, they may have rushed the orders a bit (hmm but I waited long so who knows?) and ended up serving the meals kinda cold. Anyways, it was a decent food truck experience! My friends raved about their cheeseburger slider and I was tempted to get the peanut butter and jelly with banana slider. If this truck comes my way again, I'll probably end up trying those.

After The Counter…read moreclosed nearby, I really needed a new local burger place when I had a burger craving, and The Cut delivers. I either order The Cut (yes, the $40 burger and fries) or I make my own bleu cheese burger depending on my mood. I'll cut to the chase: is the $40 burger worth it? If you've got $40 to spare and you like burgers, I think it's definitely worth it. I mean, I've had it probably three or four times now, and I'm not some kind of moron who likes setting money on fire (I hope), so it must be good, right? What's unique about it? Basically everything, but obviously the patty of meat is the star of the show, with a unique taste and texture that makes it stand out from a normal ground beef patty, and the cheese is no slouch either. The only negative is that my wife bullies me into ordering it so she can steal a few bites. The regular fries and sweet potato fries are also great. My wife got a steak with her caesar salad one time, and that was delicious too. We usually have the same waiter since we come around the same time/day every time, and he's always great. They also always have a great selection of beers on tap, today they had three different West Coast IPAs and I felt like a kid in a candy store... yum! Normally when writing a review I can come up with some sort of complaint to balance things out, but not really in this case. I mean, I could whine that the burger is $40, but no one is forcing me to buy it (except for my wife). All in all, I think this is one of the best places in Irvine to have a pint of beer and a good meal.

But the Caesar dressing for the salad was amazing with homemade croutons. So let's discuss sauces. Three thousand island - yowsa- and house the cut sauce - my blue cheese sauce - and the ranch dressing! I want more things to dip in the sauces. Next time we will dine in and try more. Definitely a smash hit for a Friday night.

Checked on us multiple times in addition to letting us know additional specials not listed on the menu and checking on us before social hour ended. We got the short rib croquettes and the slider flight. All were excellent tasting. The short rib was tender and the potatoes were well seasoned. The burger was my favorite sandwich on the flight. It was tender and juicy and very flavorful. The pork belly sandwich was also nice. The Nashville hot chicken has a kick to it in case you like a bit of spice. The pricing was very reasonable as the flight was only $13. The food was so tasty that I will definitely be back for the social hour but I also want to try their usual menu as well. To the Management Team at Hangar 24, I wanted to share some…read morefeedback regarding the recent changes to your live entertainment format. For years, Hangar 24 has been a place where families can gather, enjoy great food and drinks, listen to live music, and allow their children to safely play and have fun. It has created a welcoming environment that appeals to a broad audience, and that family-friendly atmosphere is one of the reasons so many people continue to return. Last night, however, I noticed a significant change that concerned me. Instead of having the live band perform earlier in the evening, a DJ played first and the band performed much later. Many people, including myself, came specifically to enjoy the live band, and the new format seemed confusing to much of the crowd. As I observed throughout the evening, very few people were dancing during the DJ set. Most guests remained seated, looking uncertain about the change. In addition, some of the music selections and volume level felt inappropriate for a venue that attracts so many families with young children. I noticed several children covering their ears, and many parents appeared uncomfortable. From my perspective, Hangar 24's customer base is largely made up of families. Those families purchase food, drinks, and often stay for several hours while their children enjoy the outdoor space. By scheduling the live band later in the evening, many parents are forced to leave before the performance begins because their children are tired or it is simply too late for a family outing. If the goal is to attract a younger nightlife crowd, a better approach might be to have the live band perform earlier in the evening when families are present and then transition to a DJ later at night for guests who prefer that atmosphere. This would allow both audiences to enjoy the venue without alienating the families who have supported Hangar 24 for years. I am sharing this feedback because I genuinely enjoy coming to Hangar 24 and want to see it continue to succeed. I believe many guests share these concerns, and I hope management will carefully consider how these changes may impact the loyal family customer base that has helped make Hangar 24 such a popular destination. Thank you for your time and consideration. Sincerely, A Concerned Customer

I wanted to share some comprehensive feedback regarding a recent experience, aiming to highlight both your successes and areas where further refinement could elevate the customer journey even further. First and foremost, I must commend your team for their exceptional warmth and hospitality. From my initial phone call to the moment I picked up my order, I felt genuinely welcomed and valued. This level of customer service, which often feels lacking in many establishments today, truly sets American Grub apart. It creates a welcoming atmosphere that significantly enhances the overall experience, and I sincerely hope this commitment to friendliness remains a cornerstone of your operation. However, I encountered a couple of points that, in my personal opinion, warrant consideration for improvement. Regarding the payment process, I felt a degree of apprehension about providing my credit card details over the phone. While I understand the operational need to secure orders and prevent potential losses, particularly for larger transactions, for a single item like my bacon cheeseburger, priced at $17.24 including tax, this practice felt somewhat disproportionate. I also noted the 99-cent fee for online payments, which, while minor, might deter some customers who are seeking convenience without additional charges. Perhaps exploring alternative secure payment links for phone orders or adjusting the fee structure for smaller transactions could enhance customer comfort and streamline the process. My primary concern, however, arose upon returning home. Despite ordering a bacon cheeseburger, I discovered the burger completely lacked bacon, as well as any form of sauce or mayonnaise. This oversight had a significant impact on the meal; the absence of these core components rendered the burger quite bland and far from the experience I had anticipated. When ordering a single item, the expectation for meticulous attention to detail is particularly high, as there are fewer variables. Consequently, the overall value of the meal, given the missing ingredients, was not quite met on this occasion. I did reach out to the owner privately via email to discuss these points, and I appreciate their responsiveness and transparency in addressing my feedback, particularly concerning the rationale behind the phone payment policy. It is reassuring to know that your business is open to customer input. My hope is that these observations can serve as constructive input, allowing American Grub to continue refining its excellent service and product quality. I remain a supporter of your local endeavor and look forward to seeing these aspects addressed. Thank you for reaching out. To clarify, all my reviews and communications are crafted solely from my personal experiences and genuine perspectives, not AI. Every word and insight you read is authentically mine, driven by my commitment to provide honest feedback. Even though the review was long..(lol) I wanted to make sure the details are accurate and understandable. Plus I think you and your establishment are great and I wanted to detail that as well Kimberly.
