What a hidden gem! Did not really plan to come here but randomly found it online when looking for a place to have lunch for our group of 7 on a Saturday. It was just us at the time,so service was super quick as well as the food delivery. All the meals were super delish - and huge portions,so make sure you come hungry! My chicken skewers were so good I simply devoured it :)

Cheeseburger - comes with fries, 2 onion rings and extra "special sauce".

We stopped for lunch on NYE at around 2pm. We ordered the soup of the day (cream of vegetable) and burgers. Did not disappoint! I took ALL of my fries home and half of the huge cheeseburger! My only negative comment is the name of the soup! The soup is not creamy and does not just contain vegetables (contrary to the name 'cream of vegetable' soup). However it was absolutely delicious! Would definitely get it again!

We had a delicious meal here celebrating my sister's birthday. She had the seafood boat (more like a tanker!). I had delicious lamb chops. Everything was excellent! Amazing service!

Stopped here based on the reviews. Hate to say it but it was not the best. The eggplant was pretty good and smoky with good bread. The Due Fratelli wine was also good. The lamb chops and salmon were both over cooked and lacked flavor and seasoning. The cream spinach was ok but the mashed potatoes were uninspired. Would not recommend.

Great service at the cool little place I just discovered near us. Started with the Calamari with a homemade tarter sauce. Calamari was solid and, although I am not a fan of mayo based sauces (Mayo is the Devil's condiment), this sauce was excellent. We had a Cabernet that they just started serving yesterday ( appears you can only get it by the bottle) which was nice. It paired well with our meals. I got the Ribeye , which was cooked to order. It was super tender and had good flavor. The side of Mashed Potatoes were good. My wife got the Spaghetti Bolonaise, her go to meal when we available. She loved it. Not too sweet and very hearty. I snuck one bite and agreed that it was good. They have a limited dessert menu that only has items with Pistachios in them. The two we got were great! Nice light endings to a good meal. We will definitely return!

On the way to miners museum we saw this little restaurant on the intersection and decided to grap lunch. Its a cute place and just opened last week. Food Presentation is great and the food was really tasty. Its a mix out American Staples, Mediterranean and European Cuisne. Would 100..% recommend this restaurant and we will be back ...

Food was excellent...Service outstanding & very attentive...Quaint country setting...Menu was combination of German, Middle Eastern, Mediterranean cuisine...somehow they included a bit of Italian it there too. Price is fair.

Was thoroughly impressed with this little restaurant. Came during weekday lunch. Both wife and I had the Chicken Schnitzel. Super good. Lunch menu included soup, salad and eggplant appetizer. Finished off with baklava. Great service from a Turkish young man. Place looked very clean and had a nice view.

Once in a while you walk into a restaurant with no expectations and come out thoroughly surprised. The Butchers Grill is an outstanding Middle Eastern inspired restaurant that really has no business being in this location. The salad and the steak were spot on. Fresh and well executed. The Labne was subtle and almost tart. Great flavor w warm pita. The mac n cheese was good - I'd likely go mash potatoes next time. The interior is an eclectic mix of random tables and chairs that look like they could've come from a swap meet. But very comfortable and perfectly fine. The food was prepared quickly and as ordered. I will be back here many times. So glad to have found this spot.

Wonderful cozy find! Best breakfast-for-dinner ever…read more We stumbled upon this absolute gem on a freezing, rainy evening after an outdoor event, just looking for a warm bite to eat around dinner time. My partner found this spot while searching nearby, and oh how happy I am that he did! I had been craving blueberry pancakes for days and was so excited to have a rare breakfast-for-dinner treat. From the moment we walked in, the warmth of the place completely melted the cold away. We were greeted by a wonderful, incredibly kind waitress, and the atmosphere inside was just so cozy and comforting. There was a lovely mix of people having their supper, including a sweet family of seven eating dinner together at the table next to us. It just had that perfect, welcoming community feel. The menu was seriously impressive. My other half ordered the southern chicken sausage gravy dinner, and it was phenomenal! I got my blueberry pancakes- my absolute favorite - and they completely exceeded expectations. I also tried the lentil soup, which was packed with flavor. Honestly, I don't think you could have a bad meal here if you tried. Our waitress (the same lovely woman who greeted us) chatted with us for a bit and was just so delightful and attentive. I even spotted a rice pudding with strawberries and whipped cream on the dessert menu that looked right up my alley, but between my pancakes and stealing a few delicious bites of the chicken dinner, I was far too full this time around! As we left, I noticed the pretty flowers and the outdoor picnic tables. I'm sure this place absolutely hops on weekend mornings, but it was the perfect rainy evening escape for us. Thank you so much for your incredible hospitality-we are officially adding this to our regular rotation when we are in the area.

Inside the place has a western or settlers theme (mixed in with a bit of random clutter and lots of dog photos). There was also live music which was great. For appetizers we got the guac (very fresh - recommend), wings (also quite good with a little crisp to them), and the frontier onion (which was just okay, a little more done than I would have liked, with a bit of an odd signature sauce). For dinner I had the rodeo chicken and I highly recommend it. It was very tasty. As a side note, I had ordered Russian dressing for my salad and what came was not Russian so I'd avoid that if you're a fan. It was mostly ketchup. I will say that service felt a little slow (for instance getting the check) and if you've read any of my other reviews you may know I also have a pet peeve about being without a drink for too long and I felt it took too long to fill waters. Also our table was a little sticky and I'm not sure why and don't really want to think about it too much. All that being said, I'd go again. It wasn't a bad experience and the entrees were quite good.

So together we decided to try it for an early Friday night dinner. We ordered French Onion soup, a burger, potato skins, and chili with chips (I really was excited about that, since I used to LOVE it). First, there was no internet or tvs. Not a big deal for us but definitely noted (credit cards not working, etc). Next, there were not a lot of people here at 5 ish on a Friday. There was a guy set up to sing and play guitar-he was fine (a local guy who was talking with a worker about where they live, so def local). The server comes back, no French onion soup. So we ordered mozz sticks as a replacement. They came, a plate of 3, with a pretty crispy coating (so crispy they were tough to eat). I didn't like the sauce but my husband said it was ok. For the price, 3 mozzarella sticks seems silly. My husband said his burger was ok, not something to rave about like the old Homestead reputation leads you to believe. The potato skins were great in the middle, edges were burnt, but great in the middle. My chili was the most disappointing. The chips on the side were covered in jarred salsa, jalopenos, black olive pieces, and sour cream. I was under the impression those things would be ON the chili and the chips were there to dip and scoop the chili. However, the metal crock that the chili was in was hot for the entire time we were there, the issue being that every time you tried to get chili on a spoon/chip, the crock spun around in a circle on the plate. You couldn't grab the handle because it was seriously at a molten lava temperature. Needless to say, not what it used to be, overpriced, and just not a contender with other restaurants in the area. Go a bit further on route 94 and surrounding areas each way for something better, fresher, & maybe priced for the product quality.

I braced my stomach and mentally apologized to my digestive system. Once inside, they seem to be guiding people to the self order kiosks. If I wanted a register, I'd have to maneuver around the ropes - but luckily I didn't need to. We ordered, took a number, and sat down. All the tables looked like they weren't cleaned in the last few hours, so we picked the cleanest looking out of the available options. The 'food' was out fairly quickly. The one who dropped the tray off was friendly. The 'food' was what it was. Those of you who know the menu for McDonalds already know what to expect - and no, they still didn't look like the pictures or the commercials. The only thing redeeming here was fries as always. You have to pour your own drinks, as they only give you the empty cups. I still can't grasp why places allow customers to do it - 99% of the times, the drink areas are a sticky, disgusting mess. Most customers simply can't be trusted to maintain the areas or clean up after themselves. This was no exception - stickiness, discarded litter, you name it. At the very least, someone should be cleaning up the area every 30 minutes. I get it, someone out of touch in the corporation thought it was a brilliant idea to let the customers get their own drinks - but it's a fail most of the time. It's a fail because customers are typically uncaring messes and employees barely maintain the area. Anyway, we finished the 'food' and left. The parking lot is decent and sizable. Overall it's McDonalds and all that comes with it. In an area with plenty of other eating options (including McDonalds' competitors), you could do better than here.

Now it isn't all that uncommon to see guests wearing worn out tee shirts, sweat shirts, flip flops, cutoffs, etc. Nothing crazy, but a collard shirt and no flip flop code would be a fair.
