It's a little hit and miss with the staff some are really nice and friendly whilst other are just plain rude and can't be bothered to give you the time of day. I understand that they have to deal with many people many of which are wasted but that's not everyone! If you are a smoker then it's marvellous. The actual theatre is a very good size, housing about 150 people in cinema life seats in a tiered setting. the stage is a flat foor at the bottom of the tiered seating area and is fairly large and deep, allowing for a lot of scenery. the backstage area is very nice, however everyone needs to be very quiet as it is housed right underneath the seats above! each dressing room can hosue baout 10 people getting changed and is complete with bathroom, tv to see what is happening on stage and reasonable wardrobe space. there are two large dressing rooms, two smaller ones and one up a flight of stairs. Very good use of space in the theatre and is always clean.

Pub snacks are available also. The Lych is an oasis of calm away from the bustle of the city centre. There are no TVs here, or fruit machines. Just good old fashioned talk. The bar staff are efficient, the drinks are suprisingly reasonably priced and its quite easy to get served even though the place gets packed. There is a small entry fee of about £4 or £5 but is worth it for a good night out and the place is open until the early hours.

Its very modern and comfortable inside , lots of TV's !!!! Good range of the recognisable real ales at a very decent price £2 for a pint of Cumberland . Place is very popular .
