It's a snooty fashion industry thing that is part of a much bigger story, but suffice to say I used several bad words in that first season. Today things are much different (fabric suppliers approach US - yeehaw!) but I still use Davisha. Davisha specialise in wool, cashmere and cotton, shirt and suit/coat fabrics. They have a gorgeous range and whilst the price can sometimes be high, the totally service justifies it. We use their beautiful range of men's shirt fabrics to line the pockets of our denim shorts and jeans. We've also made cropped jackets and coats from their wool and wool/cashmere fabrics. Davisha are open to everyone from a local tailor to students to wholesale fashion labels. Definitely worth a trip or ten.

Price range is also quite diverse, with the bulk of it sitting at a high price point due to the quality. They sometimes do a table of cut lengths, remnants and discontinued lines for bargains like $3/m! Good for students and toiling. Convenient location, literally outside the station.
