I like the pizza here a lot, but the service needs some serious improvements. I waited 5-10 minutes for anyone to even acknowledge that I had entered the restaurant and then an hour for 1 pizza, which is ridiculous. The waitress, who conveniently avoided my table the whole time, said nothing more than a quick and insincere sorry. She then took another 15 minutes to ask if I needed anything even though she was just standing around the whole time. I'm really disappointed in my experience at The Cabin and will take my business to one of the other pizza places in town. Definitely don't plan on grabbing a quick pizza here. read more

I ended up here with three hungry teenage boys on a Monday after a long day touring campus. They have ridiculously cheap pizza on Monday. I think it was $6. It's a nice fun spot, but the fact that I lived right across the street from it, I had to deal with the racket almost on a nightly basis...therefore it was never my first choice as far as going out was concerned. But dining there, I liked the pizza and the Cabin sticks. Those are probably the only things I've ever ordered there. Their drink selection and specials are pretty good and cheap. We've done most of our celebrations there and they always ended with a bang. Sometimes it's good and sometimes it's bad. I will say the trashy does get trashy in all of their trashiness here. read more

Second time here. The draft beer that I ordered seemed a little flat, and the pizza wasn't that great. The crust on the pizza didn't have much flavor. The pizza sauce was too sweet. Great atmosphere, service was good. I had asked for a non-spicy Bloody Mary and it was the best of ever had. I normally don't like thick crust pizza but this pizza was great. The pizza is fantastic. It is located close to many apartments in Mount Pleasant and they allow people to leave their cars in the parking lot, so they help fight people drinking and driving. Service is really good even when they are very busy. The Cabin Stix are the best item on their menu. read more

Like any other bar in town, good drink specials and decent food but it gets obnoxiously packed at night! I like the "cabin" feel of the place and all the woodwork, makes for a nice atmosphere. Looked up reviews to go here for some good pizza. Pizza was not out of this world good like others seemed to make it out to be. In fact, we ordered ours well done and the waitress didn't know if she would be able to accommodate that request. When we got our pizza, it was definitely not cooked enough and had nearly no sauce on it at all. Seemed like a college kid hangout and not the quality we were looking for. If your looking for a good college bar the cabin is what your looking for. The cabin has affordable food and good drink specials throughout the week. The bartenders are friendly and the wait staff is very good. Pizza is the cabin's go to food on the menu. There is better pizza places in town but for the price cabin's pizza is decent. During the night hours, karaoke is always a good time at the bin. The one down side of the Cabin is it is very loud at night. When the music is playing you can't hear any conversations you are having. Or you can't hear the games that are being played on the t.v. So if you are going there to watch a game the cabin is probably not the best choice. But overall cabin is a pretty good bar with a pretty good location. read more

Pizza workmanship is very poor and a rip-off. Say you ordered a pizza the relative size of a 50 cent piece. The toppings would equal the size of a dime on top of the 50 cent piece size pizza. So, consequently, you get gobs of crust on the outside and very little in topping goodies. A little crust on the outside circumference is typical and ok. However, at the Cabin the outside crust factor is excessive. It's happened more than once - seems to be a trend. At least they should give you some pizza dipping sauce along with the pizza so you could dip the outside crust in it for a better experience. Not sure if it's a case of poor workmanship or a deliberate attempt to scrimp on their costs at the expense of customer satisfaction read more

Pretty solid nothing special. Cheesy Jalapeño bread is great. The Ranch is good for everyone who still dips with it. Salads are Great really large and then you can pile some drinks on top of it. Your biggest issue here will be the servers. Sometimes they are good sometimes they are not. This is a bar and would recommend getting a group together and coming. read more

Have been going to the Cabin for years and was totally disappointed on my last visit Sunday 8-28-16. Ordered 2 grinders and a cinnamon bread and a couple of drinks. It took exactly 1 hour to get the bread only to find out that the grinders had not even been started which took another 1/2 hour, the waitress was totally stressed, upon requesting a manager we talked to the temporary manager who was somewhat apologetic but really uninterested in our concerns he gave us a small discount. The waitress was mortified and offered to pay out of her own pocket, but not seeing it as her fault we declined and took our sandwiches home as it was late. I could not eat my no onion grinder as it was smothered in onions and did not want to run back only to get a new sandwich which would have taken at least another 1/2 hour plus the trip. Poor customer service from the temp manager maybe that is why he is a temp. We have been going to the Cabin for years but will not recommend it going forward, you might have enough student trade to not worry about your customer service but this local will not be coming back anytime soon. read more
