Dill pickle pizza and cheese sticks

Ambiance was on point for what they are going for, service was very good, food was fresh and very yummy, karaoke was okay... not the best. Cleanliness was fair for what it is. Overall I think 5 stars and the food really hit it out of the park on this one.

Pizza and service was outstanding. Was visiting Campus and The Cabin was even more fun than when I went to school there in the mid 90s.

    The classic!

It's has a classic cabin interior feel. The wait staff was extraordinary, quick and attentive. The pizza here was great. Flavorful dough with just the right amount of chew, great sauce and the toppings were plentiful and delicious. If I had to pick something wrong it would be the crust could have cooked another 90 seconds it was slightly doughy but still among the top 20 pizzas I've had!

Not the same old Cabin. The service was slow and took forever for food to come out. Food was not made as ordered and the bottom of grinder was burnt. The bathroom didn't have any soap in it. We did complain about the sandwich not being made right and got an "oh I'm sorry". Overall bad experience. It's a typical college bar, lots of graffiti everywhere. I most likely won't be back, it was good back in the day but gone downhill considerably.

    Graffiti

MIGHT be good if you're already drunk or stoned!! First off, we realized too late that it was a college bar and went in with an open mind.. but the graffiti that they allow all over the walls and ceiling was off putting!! Their bathrooms are not clearly marked and are gross and graffitied just like the rest of the bar!! There's a design that looks like the wonder woman symbol upside down and right side up for the men and women's bathroom... there's not enough booths and a ton of tables. I would've preferred a booth seat. The waitress comes. She's nice she's polite gets our order. We ordered a beer and a martini and they were good. We got the cabin chips and a pickle pizza. But our appetizer didn't come out till the pizza did!! which took forever.!!! The cabin chips are literal lays chips with bacon and cheese on them. Your standard stoner nachos you eat at 1 AM in your Dorm.. these chips were the only saving grace they were The only thing that had flavor !! The pickle pizza had no taste or sauce. We had to dump the ranch from the chips on it to get any sort of flavor !! P.s the ranch was the best part of this meal!!! The waitress kept checking in on us to the point of being obnoxious till we actually needed her! she never asked if we wanted more drinks, even though they were completely empty!! She wouldn't bring us our check or ask if we need a box for our food.. we could not find our waitress. Finally, we spot her she has joined what are the parties and was socializing with her friends instead of doing her job!!! I tried to go talk to the bartender nobody was there either!!! After a while the bartender came back, so I walked up and I said I've been waiting at least 20 minutes for our waitress to bring us our check. Can you get her to come serve our table we don't even know where she went. Oh wait, never mind she's right behind me socializing instead of doing her job!!" I do not agree with or condone, dining and dashing but if I did, I would've definitely diner dash on this meal ticket!! we paid in cash down to the literal last penny, and did not leave a tip and will not be back !!!

I had intended to try pasta Alla Norcina which I noticed last visit but the told me it's on the winter menu (I think that they were on the Spring menu). I spoke with the manager and he said to come back in two weeks and they will switch to the summer menu and that it contains his favorite pasta dish. We started talking about the Pasta Alla Norcinia and I told him my relatives are from Norcia Umbria and that I've made it several times. I told him I use Italian sausage and the manager said that the chef uses actual wild boar sausage. He said the chef has amazing connections for ingredients like this. They also have a full time pastry chef on staff and all their deserts are home made. I was informed that the chocolate ganache cake has had the longest run on the menu and never seems to come off so I tried that. It was delicious There are several items on the menu that I have to try. I took a few pictures of the Spring menu and I've added them below. The gulf shrimp is on my radar and I need to try the venison burger. I just need to get past the gyro lamb burger with tzatziki. It's just so good.

They were also doing a deal on their mocktails for dry January, which I thought was cool. The menu is pretty varied with lots of options for meat-eaters--I wouldn't come here if you're vegan or vegetarian. Entrees get a bit pricey (their steak frites is $49), but sandwiches are around $15-$18 and come with fries. I ordered the pesto chicken wrap with a side of mac and cheese instead of fries. My friend got the chicken and chorizo nachos and we decided to split them half and half. Our food came out quickly and looked really good! The wrap was tasty but I couldn't really taste the pistachio pesto. The mac and cheese was incredible--super cheesy, perfectly cooked cavatappi noodles, and very flavorful. I'm really glad I upgraded to that and would even consider getting the full entree size in the future. The nachos were pretty loaded, and a generous portion. I liked all the toppings but didn't really taste much chorizo. These would be a good starter for a group. Overall a very good experience and I would come back.

The staff was very friendly and on top of things. Our waitress was warm and welcoming with just enough attentiveness without being overly intrusive. She was also accommodating to my beverage choice dilemma. Thank you! The food was all delicious. We split the Ruben with onion rings ($3 up charge). The Ruben might be one of the best we remember. The flavor was great, it was not greasy or soggy from too much toppings. The onion rings were also very crispy without being burnt. The coating was thin and fully covered the onion. We also shared the Ruben egg rolls and they were delicious as well. The only thing is they were two egg rolls cut into 6 pieces, which seemed a bit pricey. If you want a Ruben, you might just want to do the sandwich. The beverages were reasonably priced with a good variety to choose from. The inside was clean and they have plenty of seating. They have some unique seating arrangements and a small game area. They also appear to have an outdoor area, which was only used for the patrons who smoked as it was too cold to sit outside. We are definitely going to be going back. I would recommend this place to anyone.

We met up on a weekday around 5:30 and it was pretty empty so we were seated right away. The booth we sat in was comfy and spacious. The menu is pretty typical brewpub fare, with sandwiches, salads, pizzas, etc. We started with the Hunter's sticks, which are cheese stuffed breadsticks, served with ranch and marinara. These came out first and I liked that they were cut into pieces for easy sharing. The breadsticks were a bit harder than I might have preferred (I was hoping for something closer to a soft Bosco stick) but they were still tasty. The ranch was particularly delicious. For dinner I ordered the steakhouse salad, medium rare. Nate got the Cajun chicken club sandwich and our friend got a crispy chicken wrap. The sandwiches and wraps come with either chips or fries, and our server told us that there's no up charge for fries, which is nice and not that typical. This is also a brewery so Nate tried a couple of their beers and seemed to like them. They also have a full bar. The food was quite tasty! I liked the salad although it was pretty salty, probably the bleu cheese dressing. There was a generous amount of steak and it was cooked nicely. I had a couple bites of Nate's sandwich and I thought it had great flavor. Overall this is a nice neighborhood spot that I'd come back to, since their menu is pretty large and it seems like there's something for everyone.
