I dont believe Mr. Mendez had my interest in mind. It felt like he just wanted to close the deal. This was my first time buying a home and obviously I had a lot of questions. There was an initial situation that I felt needed to be addressed and I communicated to Mr. Mendez. My questions were not being answered and I felt I was not getting the advice that I needed to make informed decisions. I had to read blog and other realtors websites to know what to expect. I felt pressured to select a mortgage company he had "recommended" and rushed to buy. We had only seen three houses and I was already been told that I needed to choose one. Once I selected one, there was no negotiation between the seller and Mr. Mendez. I did not know I had that opportunity. I bought the house at 100% of the value. I could've purchased it at a lower price should I had known that it is common. Now that I am selling my home I am learning a lot of things that Mr. Mendez did not bother to make me aware of. I guess I should've done my homework when choosing my real estate agent. I selected him because he was Hispanic and I felt more comfortable communicating in Spanish. Definitely not a reason to choose a real estate agent.

I was assigned Kyle Collins for the home of my dreams. This was against my wishes, as he was a…read morenewer realtor. Although he had assistance filling out the contingency agreement, he still got the timeframe incorrect. After initial inspection was conducted, two weeks later I had to ask him get the roof inspection scheduled. He never got more than two receipts out of seven repairs that sellers were supposed to have completed. I had to ask him to schedule final walk through appts. None of which he ever attended. He never personally ever went to the home, not once. Oh, but he collected his fees at closing for doing absolutely nothing! Sellers never fixed a few important items, dinged up the place moving, and left it incredibly filthy!! Again, he wouldn't know, he's never been there. I provided the sellers' realtor with 34 pixs of the damage and filth to no avail. It was sad, Kyle displayed no motivation or ambition to better himself or work for his client.
