They also had a good selection of flavored oils and vinegars as well as a nice selection of local products. I loved the variety of spice blends. The airy, rustic vibe of the store was perfect. It was cool to see locals coming in for oil refills. We purchased many things including a customized tea box for our daughter.

It was a blast. Everyone was so nice, it was fun to meet people and enjoy the experience with them. The instructors were awesome! Fun, friendly and informative. The food was phenomenal. We had reverse seared chuck steak with chimichurri, flavorful roasted potatoes, not your average roasted cauliflower, a light and tasty fennel/celery salad and an amazing roasted onion hummus with spicy chickpeas. For dessert I learned to make cream puffs and it was accompanied by an awesome in-house tea. I can't wait to book my next class with more friends. This place is awesome, can't recommend enough. Such a fun date night or friends night out. Heck, something fun to do yourself! Learn a new skill and get a great meal out of it. It comes with a store discount so I racked up before leaving. Big fan.

There's always a small line at this gas stations deli, so you know they got the goods. These dude's sell fresh seafood, you can get it boiled/fried, or fresh. I always go by here on my way home from Louisiana. When I'm talking about a road trip snack, I'm not talking about slim Jim's, day old burger, or chips. I'm talking crab legs, shrimp, crawfish pies, fresh fried juicy catfish! Boiled shrimp was cooked perfectly, wasn't overcooked swimming in that seasoning. They were frying shrimp and catfish when I walked in. $10 for a box of 5 catfish filets, and 10 jumbo shrimp, it was nice and crispy, needed a tad more seasoning, but great price! Catfish was big, and it was flaky juicy goodness. Giant Turkey wing for $2.49 so why not? Add that to my cart I wasn't a huge fan of it, but it wasn't bad. This is my snack before dinner 1 crawfish meat pie 1/2lb boiled shrimp 5 fried catfish filet 10 jumbo fried fish 1 giant turkey wing's a little under $20 after tax.

This is a huge gas station store and "restaurant" (it has two booths). The seafood looked and smelled delicious (and my husband is cajun so we are picky about good boil). We were super tempted to eat but it was only like 10am so we weren't ready for lunch. The store was clean and well stocked. Bathrooms were very run down and beat up, but they were clean and had toilet paper (though only one soap dispenser and it was out). Definitely the best stop within 30 miles either way. It's attached to a Chevron and I have no idea how the tired-looking Texaco will survive if ppl want anything more than gas. They just can't compete.

The Florida Boulevard location is the mothership though, where the baking and making occurs, and where the biggest selection of products can be found. I think they have a fine line of their own branded vitamins, supplements, and even preserves. I take their vitamins and a supplement on the daily, and I know they are the right formulas because these folks pay attention to the products that bear their name. You can find whatever vitamins, minerals, herbs, and other supplements you might want, in various brands and formulations. Then there are the groceries and food products, it is a full-fledged old-school health food store. You can buy everything you might need here, in a nice small local store, run by friendly and helpful people who want to connect you with products that are good for you. It seems a better place to buy things that you need. But that's not all folks! Remember the name is Our Daily Bread, and boy do they have that as well as other baked products to enjoy. They have healthy hearty breads, from sweet to savory, in various forms from loaves to po-boy buns. Then there are cookies, muffins, and carob bars! So much baked goodness to choose from. And in recipes that are good for you, without all the additives and preservatives. Then there are the prepared foods. These include a soup of the day (roasted root veggie is my favorite), sandwiches made with their breads, and salads. Other options are also available, including healthy juices and smoothies, for those who prefer their nutrients in liquid form. Go shopping around lunch time and have a meal while you are there, you'll be glad you did!
