My appointment was with the haematology department which is downstairs in the main building. I found the signage to be adequate and was able to locate the department without getting lost. I had quite a journey to get to the hospital (2 hours) and arrived half an hour early. Despite this I was seen promptly and was back in my car before I should have even been there. The doctor I dealt with was friendly and explained everything to me and listened attentively to my concerns, which is more than could be said for my GP! I had to return the next day and again found the experience to be a stress free one. Parking is pay and display but it's fairly reasonably priced and there are plenty of parking spaces.

And most…read moreof my grandchildren were cared for here Yes I used to see the same drs back in the years but as the nhs has suffered over the years staff shortages etc are happening and it's sad.but I found I was always looked after from this practice. I now suffer from copd and asthma and I'm always called to see my specialist nurse who is brilliant. I find all the staff pleasant and helpful and the new my gp app is brilliant no more phone calls to get a appointment just do it all myself. Well done Eden medical group for all your help over the years . I myself work in the nhs and I sympathise with all the cut backs drs being moved around every 3months it's hard for them too .drs and patience not getting to know each other like the old days but let's help each other if you can't make a appointment you've booked then cancel it then drs may have more time with you instead of having time wasters .

Almost every member of staff have been rude, our current doctor has no care in the world for my wife, who has been diagnosed (privately) with a serious illness. We had no option but to go private, as she was not taken seriously here. Now we are looking for treatments for her and we are still not taken seriously, the doctor doesn't look up from his screen, doesn't even remember her when she goes. And refuses her basic scans with no communication back to us, we have to chase after weeks of waiting. We are completely unable to speak to our GP within a week, even a telephone appointment is a week away! Noting gets done, nothing has been kept on file from our last visit, it is just diabolical. Please do not subject yourself to such a place, go somewhere decent (as we will now be doing) where the doctors actually care about people, life is too short.

However we felt the lunch options were a little unimaginative. I had crayfish w jacket potato - the crayfish being a mound of tasteless mushy stuff. There are additional treatments available at an additional charge. I had the Elemis resurfacing facial which was very relaxing, lasted 1hour 10 mins and cost £55 Best day to go for the day spa is changeover day - monday or friday - apparently less people around Overall a fantastic day in a wonderful relaxing environment, slight downer was the lunch. My eighty year old uncle is here at the minute and it is definitely the best home he has lived in…read more All the rooms are singles which is great as there is no sharing unlike other places. The rooms are really clean and each one has it's own wash basin. My uncle's room is huge so there is plenty of room for us all to sit when we visit. Most parts of the home have recently been redecorated and the colour scheme and wallpapers they have chosen are really modern. The communal living rooms are very spacious and all seats have a great view of the television. The food is really good and is all homecooked, with a few different choices available each mealtime. Outside a lovely new garden area has been created which will be lovely for the residents to use when the weather warms up a bit. A hairdresser visits regularly and the resident's pay for this out of their own money, it is really handy as they don't have to go out. All the staff treat the residents with the upmost dignity and professionalism and you really can't fault their dedication.

There are more dentists employed in this practice now and I am very happy with the level of service I have received. My children are quite at ease coming here too. The radio is on and there are toys for them to play with so gives it a relaxing environment. On the occasions I have needed an emergency appointment they have been very accommodating however they do close for lunch between 1pm and 2pm. they offer teeth whitening too and sell electric toothbrushes and other dental products.
