These people are legal scam artists. They wont talk to you after you've paid them. My father gave them his credit card info. First, he takes your money, then, you never hear from him again. He doesn't take calls, seldom answers emails, and, just overall, does not communicate. His staff has no clue what is going on. He is late to court, and, in once case, was a no show, which resulted in the other party winning. He is very disorganized and will ask to send him papers he already has. He has no memory of what he talked to a person about. He has a PI in his office that talks to clients. This PI also eavesdrops on conversations. He discussed a case with someone in the open without permission of the client. He pitted my child and me against each other by telling one the other said something they didn't . He keeps the contract, then refuses to give a copy. He has actually had his receptionist meet with the client. He does not seem like he is on your side. Worse, he fails to tell you when the trial is over. He leaves you hanging, then he lies about it. If you have him hired, get rid of him. If someone suggests you use him, run! My friend used Kevin Camp when she was arrested. Her mom had to pay him upfront before he'd represent her. There's no other way to say this but.. he's horrible. I have copies of emails that my friend sent him and how he responded. He only responded to emails on rare occasions and when he did he was very sarcastic to her. Once she was incarcerated he only visited her 1 time in 3 years! He did not return her calls. He did absolutely nothing to help her. I sat in court on 2 different occasions and watched how unprofessional he was. He encouraged her to plead guilty and led her to believe she would probably not have to serve time. Camp Law Firm is a Scam!! I filed complaints with BBB and The Bar Association in of Mississippi. If I could give them 0 stars I would. I paid them to represent me in a speeding ticket case pleading as not guilty. They told me to pay up front and I had to beg them multiple times via email to send me a contract. I finally got it 3 weeks later. My License is in Indiana and I got the speeding ticket while traveling through Mississippi on a business trip. I knew I was not able to come to court to plead not guilty so I called Camp Law Firm to represent me. Kevin@camplawfirm.com repeatedly told me I will not face any fines or consequences until my court date. I got the ticket on 9/4/2017. They just recently sent me a letter in the mail stating my Court date will be in July of 2018. Which made me suspicious of why the date is so far away. I then took the time out to check the status of my drivers license and found out it's suspended because of a "Failure to Comply" I then Emailed Kevin and showed him the screenshot of the Suspended Status and he informed me that my court date is in July and I won't face any consequences. How smart does that sound? My license still remains suspended and there is now way I am waiting until July to go to court in Mississippi to get my license restored. All in All he scammed me out of $250 and I could have used that money to pay the ticket and my license would still be valid! Don't waste your money with them Beware! read more
