The Canadian Brewhouse is a pretty good restaurant with good food and almost always great service. The place has a nice, friendly and welcome atmosphere as well as a being an awesome family-friendly establishment too. I would definitely recommend this place for a calm family dinner, as it isn't too fancy, but will definitely get the job done in terms of the vast menu and overall vibe. Since the brew house opening in Fort Saskatchewan I have been twice. Both experiences have been great ! Once with my children and the other for New Years Eve. I love that at this location as they allow kids until 8pm. they have a kids menu, colouring page and crayons. The meal,drink and dessert are included in the price which was under 7$. The meal was huge for my 4 year old so he had leftovers for the next day! I purchased a ticket for the New Years party ,they offered great deals on drinks and had a yummy midnight buffet which was included with your ticket. I wish I would have remembered to take a pic but I was too busy with the drink specials and it slipped my mind. Lol Our waitress was AMAZING ,she was funny and polite and didn't mind us making asses of ourselves if I could only remember her name The DJ could have played new music but it didn't stop me from dancing as they turned a section into a dance floor. Visiting from the states. Was told to try Poutine. I must say this was so delicious! The atmosphere was pretty cool. Loved the hockey decor. Service was top notch. Everyone was super nice and friendly. Prices were very reasonable and the beer was cold! I will definitely eat here again! read more

If it was possible to give it a zero, I would. This Canadian Brewhouse is discriminatory and fired and girl because of her looks because she 'didn't fit the look'. Which, in my opinion, shouldn't have hired her in the first place if she didn't. This was after a WEEK. The management is terrible and awful to make a girl feel so bad about herself, she's thinking of weight loss surgery. THIS IS NOT OKAY. You do NOT under any circumstance fire somebody after a WEEK because they didn't fit the look. You had so many chances during that week to come up with something better, but just because she isn't skinny or smaller you decide she doesn't fit the look? Absolutely unbelievable. Go here for the atmosphere and drinks. The food was sub par. Two hours later my lips are still salty from the extremely salty potatoes. The New York strip was extremely fatty, and rather tough. Second one I have been to in the last 2-3 years and this one in Ft. Saskatchewan. I am willing to give this one a 2 because it isn't as dark and the drinks are not as watered down as they were at the Edmonton 97th Street location. We were here on 12/27/15 The food, well.... the menu is more "restaurant" like (why, I do NOT know since it is a "Brewhouse"..... why to places like this market a menu that is more than what they can deliver? I guess they want to torture the kitchen). In any case, I went for the "Seasonal Special"...a salad that was mostly arugula. They didn't have it. I order another salad that doesn't have arugula in it and magically, arugula is in it.... My companion's fish tacos (under the Appetizers) were good and our friend ordered the "Pulled Pork Poutine".... It was simply a large laddle full of gravy with pulled pork on a bed of french fries....last I checked Poutine included cheese curds.... Granted, I am not a connoisseur, so if someone out there can educate me on this Eastern Canadian dish, please do. On this note, I will not be going to a 3rd Canadian Brewhouse simply because having tried the food twice at different times in different places, I have the same impression....best for me to not go. read more

I, one time, made a cauliflower crust pizza. I fully forgot to drain said cauliflower of moisture so the pizza came out looking and tasting like someone spilled soup on a baking sheet. That abortion of a meal was 10 times better than the perogie pizza from brewhouse. I would rather sit on the ground, fully clothed, and shit than pay 30 dollars for this "pizza" again. Went on Father's day afternoon, worst service I've ever had. 2nd round of drinks took over 30 minutes, so we ate our entire meals with no drinks. The nachos came out with probably 80% of the cheese unmelted - cold shredded cheese on nacho chips...delicious. Pointed it out to our "server" and she offered no apology only that "it sucks when that happens". No discount or a sorry from her, while we could hear her apologizing profusely to every other table nearby about taking a while or getting something wrong. Decided to try out the Canadian brew house tonight as the menu looked appealing online and they allowed kids! We went on a Saturday at 6 and were seated immediately even though the place was packed! The waitress was there to take our drink orders in a flash and then once she returned we placed our orders. My daughter ordered the pasta in butter, and though she liked it, she said next time she'll ask for half the butter as it was almost swimming in it. Myself and my Boyfriend ordered the spinach dip and potato moccasins. Both were amazing! Those also came quickly and were prepared wonderfully. We were seated, served and out of there in an hour on a Saturday. I will most defiantly be back, as I want to try their beef dip and that spinach dip is still calling my name. read more

Came for dinner around 7. Went and sat at the only booth/table left that wasn't a bar seat. People behind us were extremely rude/ loud. Really don't want to hear a bell ringing beside my head and people slamming glasses down while I try eat. But of course they are "buddies" with the manager. Who spent the whole time standing beside them watching hockey. I asked my waitress if that manager was the only one in. ( he was wearing a yellow shirt) and she said yes. So of course nothing was done about people ringing a damn bell and yelling in my ear. Nevermind they made a baby cry then proceeded to laugh about it. I've been to this location twice and other locations several times ( not by my own choosing). The food at all the locations is terrible. The service at this particular location in my experience was not great. The appetizers came out and our mains came out directly after, we didn't even have time to taste our appetizers before the server asked if she could take our appetizers out of the way.
