It was a welcome breath of fresh air, and you were guaranteed to find something quirky and cool. The clothes were a bit on the pricey side, but they had frequent sales and 10% student discount. The good news is that it's a chain, and there are still Joy shops scattered around the country - you just need to know where to look for them.

They have some lovely dresses in for Christmas at the moment and one in particular has caught my attention and at £60 at this time of year I think I will get my moneys worth if I do buy it. The downside in this particular store is the fitting rooms, they are located at the back of the store and are very small and not at all accessible if you either use a wheelchair or have a buggy. Very frustrating as you have to go up steps to access this area.

The quality is great and you do pay a fairly high price but my mum has a coat we got her from Plant last year and she wears is loads and it still looks new! I was pleased to find they sell clothes for ladies aged twenty to forty who have modern lifestyles. I have a keen interest in fashion and after seeing their collections a few times I can see they keep their trends up-to-date. I found out that they spend eighteen weeks every year buying clothing for niche collections and these clothes aren't available online or in department stores. So you can get an individual look, isn't that great? Like I said earlier I avoid places like this because of their high prices and even when this shop had a sale on the prices were still way out of my budget!
