    Hidden sign very small print

    BEWARE. Deceitful parking signs designed to generate revenue. $40 ticket. Plus an additional $1.99 for online processing fee. Avoid these parking spaces if at all possible. Not city owned.

    They are not helpful at all. Give tickets to handicapped people that never go downtown and was in a handicapped spot but still gave a 40 dollar ticket and won't dismiss it at all. Won't let you talk to any supervisors. Had one person say she could dismiss it then the call disconnected and when called back was told that was not going to happen. What happened to compassion for handicapped people. In Idaho, vehicles with a disability placard or license plate can park in any public parking space, including metered parking, without paying a fee. They can also park in restricted areas for unlimited periods of time.

    I arrived at their lot at 4:52pm. Their sign says after 5pm, evening rates cost is $7. The sign also says 12-5pm is day rates 1hr $2, 2hr $5, 3hr $8, & 4hr $11. I arrived 8 minutes prior to the evening rate charge of $7. I knew I would be at least 2hours maybe 3hrs at most. I knew in 8 minutes it wouldnt matter because after 5pm its evening rate charge is $7. However, trying to be fair in paying the 8 minutes I went ahead and paid for 3 hrs, thinking "Im covered" all night anyway. I come out just over 3 hours(8:30pm approx)later, to a ticket at 7:59pm. For what? So I go and dispute it. Not only did they deny my dispute, they ignored my disputed explanation, ignored my suggesting that their sign is misleading and ignored my easy suggestion so others dont have a problem. I wrote several emails, requested a number & name to contact,....still ignored. On top of all this, they double violated me so now they claim I owe $120??!! So apparently if you pay or try to pay for 8 minutes prior to 5pm, youll be charged day rates after 5pm. Which their sign does NOT clarify. Its misleading, and your dispute doesnt matter anyway, because you the customer doesnt matter!

    There are 27 signs in that parking lot explaining the rules to park there. You literally cannot enter or exit the lot, in a car or on foot, without seeing and being able to read the parking rules at least 3 times.

    Apex Parking is not professional to their customers…read more I have had multiple parking services and they are kind and understanding. They are doing their jobs while being respectful. Their staff are friendly and personable, they walk you through the situation and execute good customer service regardless of how the Customer acts towards them. In these situations it helps me understand and pay my fine, or if it was a mistake they work with you to get it fixed Unlike APEX. APEX does not, they fight with you on the phone, give personal attacks to callers. Say they have to deal with customers 100 of times a day, when this is the job THEY signed up for. Super disrespectful, Accuses customers are lying just because "Other customers lie" says things like "I'm not your bro" then continues to call the customer bro. Apex doesn't try to figure out the situation and work with the customer they will escalate the situation and put you down as a person to a point where they hang up and you have to pay or you will get towed. I understand being in the wrong, I understand doing your job but they are doing their job in the wrong way. They have many rules in place that are misleading and only benefit them. They get so niche that a simple human mistake costs you, and they don't care about you. say "but you signed them when you moved in" Instead of explaining them. They took a photo at a specific angle to show there was no pass but when you put the device on the windshield it was impossible to miss. Instead of providing a note saying to put it on the rear view mirror which another tenant said happened to them where they left a note they just make you pay even though you have a pass. I provided the photos below but the guy on the phone says "Im lying" because other people lie. Yes I can understand that the pass isn't on the mirror and that's in the rules. I just find it hard to believe the attendant "didn't see it" He was arguing that he didn't see it and that he doesn't look into cars rather then more then explaining that it wasn't in the window. I'm not trying to dispute it anymore but rather sharing this to show they could have treated me better or left a note like they did with another tenant or even tried to work with us but instead they attacked us and made us pay with no other option. Another experience I had months ago there was a parking spot that had the number faded away and in my complex where there are other random spots between number spots which are in numbered and allowed to park in without a permit. I told them there was no number clearly visible and they argued with me and then a couple days later they horribly sprayed a number in that spot, I'm assuming because they knew I was right. I'll include a photo below as well. The purpose of sharing this is just to show how scummy and rude they are. Again I understand making a mistaking and paying the consequence which I have done before with a previous company at another complex when I parked in a covered spot "briefly" hoping they wouldn't notice. But with this company if it's not perfect even if they know you as a tenant with a pass, which they did. As well as another time the guy on the phone had complimented my car saying "I see your rig all the time" before proving they know but still not caring and being rude towards me. Treating someone this way is NOT ACCEPTABLE from a business. Regardless of if the costumer is in the right or wrong. If a customer is frustrated it does not give you an excuse to be rude back and attack them. The manager at apex likes doing that. In Customer service you have to learn to defuse and treat a customer, Apex likes to do the opposite. I am deciding to post a review not because I don't like their rules or "mad at their rules" but because I have had it with their lack or respect If I were a business this would not be the parking service I would choose to represent my management company. My reviews is not misleading as there are others similar to mine, as well as this is not slander it's intent is to provide accurate information for others based on real experiences.

It was designed by NY architects & opened in 1925. However it was closed when we arrived Monday at 10:30 we came back in the afternoon and walked inside. We took the elevator up to the bell tower for city views. The Great Hall is a 3,542-sq ft multi-story atrium that once was the stations waiting room. Ten original benches line the walls of the Great Hall holding 300 standing & 165 seated people.. hours are limited because this venue is rented out The original 1925 Barkalow Brothers Newsstand is featured on the west wall. The newsstand has been slightly restored but remains in its' original form. This area is great for a buffet or display. The Great Halls' ceiling is lined with Spanish trusses, each imprinted with antique locomotives. The famous Platt Gardens are here.

    I NEVER leave bad reviews, but I just can't understand how I was treated by this company. We parked…read morein their lot, paid for parking through their app (which is the only way to do it, at least in this specific lot). I came back out and had a ticket. I called at least 10 times, left at least 3 messages, emailed numerous times to all the email addresses I could find - and no one ever got back to me. I have screenshots of the paid-for parking. I finally went to pay for parking on their website just so I wouldn't get towed in the future, and we had a ticket in there from a different day too - a day we didn't even leave the house - and we had definitely not received a ticket on our car considering our car was in our own driveway all day. To this day, they still will not return any of my messages. We are downtown at the ICCU Arena a LOT, and spend a lot of money in this specific lot - and I will now walk blocks rather than giving them any money.

    Two family members and I received parking tickets in an unmarked lot where we've parked…read moreoccasionally for more than 10 years, at 9th and State, on a weekend morning. I contacted Republic Parking immediately and Dee replied saying there were "several permit parking only" signs in the lot. I went back to the lot, took lots of photos and sent them to her. They showed the lot entrance, and every single parking space with no signs anywhere. She repied with two photos of faded, small signs low to the ground and not near the entrance or any of the parking spaces, and the signs say nothing about a permit being required. Dee wouldn't budge, so I filed a complaint with the BBB. They closed the case without making a decision. (Thanks, that was a big help, BBB!) In the 4 months since our tickets were issued, neither Republic Parking nor the client (Global Travel) has updated any signage in the lot. You think that after seeing my photos, from a driver's perspective, they'd make a good faith effort to mark the lot.
