I was craving Mediterranean food and told my husband earlier this morning that we needed to get it when I got off work. We're new to the Orange County area and everything closes a lot earlier than LA. But he found this spot and it was perfect cause they close at 11pm and I wasn't off work until 8pm. It was a little difficult to find because the entrance is in the back of the building and my Apple Maps hates me lol but once we pulled into the parking lot you get a nice view of the restaurant. We ordered the: * stuffed grape leaves - $12 * falafel plate - $18 * chicken kabob plate - $25 The food was pretty damn good, ngl the prices looked a little pricey for Mediterranean food but once the portions came out, it all made sense -- it's HUGE. Seriously it was like a platter of food for yourself ha Our waitress Mihri was super sweet and helpful. She even gave us Turkish coffee on the house to try! This is the perfect place to bring guests! We saw that it was new so we decided to check it out and we'll DEFINITELY be back. Every single thing we had was great, no misses. The mistake we made was getting too much food. There was 4 of us and the family meal for 2 would have been enough for all of us. The portion sizes are large, you could easily share a regular entree plate amongst 2 people. This is a great place to come hang out with your friends, have some delicious food and smoke some hookah if that is your thing. If you don't want to smell that, then I suggest sitting inside. My friends and I had a wonderful time having dinner at the Castle. Ambience is clean and chic, food was excellent and abundant, and service was attentive and quick. We ordered the family meal which came with a variety of appetizers and a main platter to share. Appetizers were flavorful and the main meat dishes were cooked well and seasoned. Don't get me started on the desserts though, the Knafe was sooooo good I wanted to take another one home (allow about 15-20 mins to prepare since they make it fresh)--the pistachio cake dessert was so divine it almost knocked me out.
