Prices are steep but YOU ARE in a tourist town within Europe so it's only natural that the prices are not Wal-Mart rollback style. I highly recommend this store to anyone looking for Cambridge memorabilia. The staff is very friendly and accommodating as well--I didn't sense nor receive any of the negative attitude (towards non-locals) that I got from other establishments. A rude, unstable sales person. When I was quoted the price for 2 postcards, I spontaneously…read morecommented "oh that's quite expensive". I was buying them nevertheless and was handing the clerk a fiver. My experience with customer service everywhere else in Cambridge so far has been sweet so I was not anticipating a violent verbal reaction from the man behind the counter at all. He first mumbled "Take it or leave it" under his breath, while I was looking at some souvenir pens to add to my purchase. It escalated from there to "You know where the door is" and such. Don't understand why a downtown souvenir shop here would employ a man with an anger management problem. Kind of mars your impression of the city.

When searching for a place to buy whisky, this was the only place I found that sold bottles (as…read moreopposed to going to a bar.) They have a small selection of whisky and bourbon. Not ideal for tourists, as most of what they have is available in the US. Was able to find 2 bottles at a reasonable price (under 70 quid) for souvenirs. This is better as a cigar/loose tobacco shop. Their private label is available only there (a highlands, an islay, and a blend). The others are common (Glendronauch, Whistle Pig, Angel's Envy, Writer's Tears, and Oban.)
