I was able to pick up lovely gifts for friends I would see later in my trip, and I splurged and bought myself a necklace by High Desert Creations. It is a necklace I have come to cherish, and I receive multiples compliments every time I wear it. I also cherished the experience of selecting it in this beaty-filled shop with a very warm and friendly clerk (I can't believe I forgot her name). Anyway, stop in when you are that way. This is one of the absolute friendliest feed stores I've ever been to. They have a bit of everything; if you can't find what you need, just ask. Unlike the big chain in town, they load your hay for you every single time (and perhaps even more than the inside staff, the yard guys are just super cheerful & helpful). Also, instead of leaving items in their container, he will gladly take them out for you... instead of just using scissors to cut out what you're purchasing while leaving it in their own sealed containers. The first time there, much more friendly. A wide range of choices for juices, and is reasonably priced for that. Prices for mods and kits are also good. I guess just for the smaller atomizer he charges double what I've seen on my travels and in smaller towns.

At Gold Leaf we were given an extremely quick run thru of the menu. Then rushed to be given a "one on one" treatment but only to have the salesperson try to get us to decide immediately. This was our first time and while they have a beautiful location with cute deco and handwritten menus and clear displays, their product was almost a year old and not great. The lady at the front entrance was pleasant but once inside, it was not our best dispensary experience.​
