This is not a hidden fact and an occurrence that deeply hurt the members of the church. We now have a different senior pastor, Matthew Williams, and he along with the elders lead the church with amazing wisdom and godly humility. The atmosphere is open and welcoming and the gospel is put on display each and every week not only from the pulpit but also from the congregation themselves. I would recommend to anyone looking for a God-honoring, doctrine-based, and open armed church. This is our family and we love it there.

The contemporary music is upbeat and fun to sing along with. My son enjoys the children's service because they get to do a project in their small groups each Sunday. The old minister was great and that is the only reason we stayed. The church members are very cliquish, which I know is normal for many churches. However, this church is in a higher income area and that changes things a little. We have not attended for almost a year, since we are looking for a new church. We are still considered members until we transfer our membership. During this time we have not received a single call, letter, or email asking us where we've been or how we've been. However, we did receive a pledge card! I find it a little upsetting to know that no one reached out to us. I would think that after a couple of months an elder or someone would of least called to touch base with us. But, I think because of the large number of members, we don't have very deep pockets and did not volunteer for everything, we have been overlooked. That is not very comforting. I am not insinuating that them reaching out to us would of changed our mind about finding a new church home, but the outreach would of been nice.
