I booked a picnic for my friend's birthday last week and it's a memory I'll treasure forever. Firstly, Charmaine we very attentive and accommodating throughout the whole planning process, even when we had to change the time on such short notice. She also went out of her way to get the 36 macarons from Honey & Butter I requested! There were times when I was worried I was bothering or asking too much of her, but she always responded in a very kind and professional manner, which I'm very appreciative of. Secondly, while you can pick a spot for your picnic, I went with one listed on the website and HOLY HECK was it perfect for a picnic! I'm so so so glad they have this place little park in Dana Point as an option! Thirdly, the picnic itself was beautifully set up. There's no way I could have done a better job, even if I tried. The pillows were very comfortable and the teepee was fun for taking pictures~ Also they brought flowers in my friend's favorite colors, which was she was more than happy with What more can I say? The food was very delicious - we were even provided with takeout boxes for our leftovers - Big Jena was such a fun add-on, and we were able to play fitting picnic music with the speaker provided. Great service, good idea! Set up location was well chosen @ Pine Park with ocean view. Communication with the business was good. We were 2 adults with 2 kids under 3 with us. Thankfully, we were able to book a picnic for 2 people rather than having to book for 4. Due to that, the whole thing was more affordable for us. The presentation of the food was good, the fruit and veggies were fresh. Some room for improvement is probably there. A couple of the sweet pastries were pretty unremarkable. I also recommend adding a few bottles of water, should not hurt the bottom line and is huge in Southern CA heat in the summer. I would probably recommend to be precise about anything you might want to swap or add. They are good at customizing things so take advantage of that!
