I haven't updated my review in a while and I still like the Jamaican Black Pepper Shrimp but I thought that I should mention some of my other favorites here.... The Buffalo Blasts appetizer is one of my new favorite things here and love their cheesecakes. They are some of the best you can find anywhere and they offer a wide variety. Well then, you ask why the downgrade from 5 stars to 3 stars? Well after my experience last night I don't plan on going back again. They were out of the black beans for my favorite dish and there was a misunderstanding, apparently about what I had ordered and it took more than an hour for me to get my entree. I won't get into all the details, but it was a very bad experience and I still paid a lot of money. The manager gave me a free piece of cheesecake, but I don't feel like I should've paid for the entrée. read more

This is a review purely for a new cheesecake flavor, as we dine here several times a year. The food is good on average. However, the new peach cheesecake with raspberry drizzle is the most delightful, summery and fantastic cheesecake they have on the menu. We shared one slice and have been reminiscing ever since. Got seated right away in this huge building, music was just a tad to loud for the scene. The bread that was the started was mid, the brown being ok but the white bread was hard as a rock but somehow undercooked and chewy inside. Got waited on immediately but there was hardly anyone here. S'mores cheesecake and the carrot cake were so good it was just dumb. Basically perfect. The bacon bacon burger cooked perfectly and tasted fantastic, it had a special sauce on it which was really good. The salad had ranch on it and the ranch was probably 5/10. The chicken and biscuits was only ok. A strange flavor in the sauce, kind of like a breakfast sausage flavor. Definitely not your typical flavor, almost sweet. The sprite , something off with it. The rootbeer was fine and so was the water and coffee. Sadly even though the burger and cakes were so good this isn't a five star joint. read more

This is so far one of the best cheesecake factory I've been to. I want this specific salmon made the way that I wanted it to be made, and it was my birthday so when I talked to the server, the chef came out of the kitchen and he came to talk to me and I told him I wanted it and he delivered. Had a wonderful birthday dinner here. Came at 7:45 on a Thursday, and was very empty. The lighting was lowered while there which made it hard to see, but it was romantic to say the least. I had wanted to veer from my traditional chicken Romano so I went with the Chicken Bellagio which was delicious. The basil cream sauce complemented the saltiness of the procuitto quite well. The chicken was crusted perfectly. Had enough for my fill and a full meal of left overs. My partner got the Cajun chicken with angel hair instead of bow tie pasta and he really enjoyed it as well. We had started with small bites. (Not pictured) which was delicious Brie, marmalade, and truffle oil and I devoured those. He had two meatball sliders, which I thought were small, but he enjoyed them. I also had a grapefruit spritz which had a very lovely floral taste and was evenly balanced. Let me say that the server was great! He did a good job with what he had. However most of the rest of experience was not great. My wife got the Brulée French toast. It was French toast. There was nothing special about it. Lightly golden at best with no "Brulée" or anything. We thought the menu was very misleading. Especially because it was highly recommended. (See Picture.) Plus we had ordered the chicken sausage and the gentleman who dropped off our food said " let me bring your sausage right back". He never came back. Prob 10mins until someone else actually brought it to us. I ordered the Steak and Eggs for $30. Now I get beef prices have gone up, but that was the smallest ribeye I have ever seen. (See picture). I mean just say it's a 4-5oz ribeye on the menu. Let people know what they are actually ordering. It was the size one of my eggs. I ordered it medium it came almost Well done. The server did get another one fired. It came out rare. However I like rare steak so it wasn't bad, I'll say it was tender. I also ordered an unsweetened Arnold Palmer but it came with a sugar rim. If I wanted extra sugar I would have gotten a sweet tea. Yes it looks pretty but the sugar runs, the glass gets sticky and again it's supposed to be unsweetened tea minus a little lemonade for flavor and sweet. All in all it was a disappointing meal. The server did get our drinks taken off the bill. Which he said was $11. For a black coffee and an Arnold Palmer? Are drinks $5.25 a piece? Or do Arnold Palmers not have free refills? read more

This was the worst meal I've had in Lexington. I'm sorry to say because in the past Fish&Chips, for example, was good, big pieces of battered cod but today was simply fishsticks from frozen. Wow. Where do I start. My boyfriend and I came in to eat and sat at the bar area on a high top table which is first come first serve. We wait for about 20 mins and I ask a server where our server is at and she points in another direction to say "she will be with u in a second". We waited for another few minutes with no introduction from a server but the same manager but with bread in her hand. I tell her again look we still haven't even been spoken to from said server. Second to the manager, after getting a complaint like this and seeing ur server not able to do her job that's when u take over. You should have taken it upon urself to take our order. We came back in and were talked to the side with Jacob. If it wasn't for Jacob and his attention to detail and his quick to solution antics this review would be a 1/5 stars. After 50 minutes I checked and they mentioned that many tables were eating dessert and would be leaving soon. During our wait we noticed they seated many about 4-5 large groups, bigger tips? Needless to say we were hungry and frankly we all know the meals there are mediocre at best, so we left. We drove across town, and when we were seated at another restaurant with drinks and appetizers we finally received the text that our table was ready, exactly one hour and twenty minutes after checking in at Cheesecake Factory. I will never go back. Management needs to seriously consider catering to groups of all sizes and not prioritize seating just large groups. PS. Came here to eat for Valentine's Day and everything was delicious. I love the portion size and also the bread and butter to start. They had happy hour because we sat next to the bar so I got a bunch of different appetizers to try. The only thing that I would say is the that the fish and chips We're not the best. It came out really fishy and usually I'm not the one to send things back but if it's really an edible, we did end up sending it back and got a smokehouse burger. I'm a lover of Asian salads, so I had to try the Thai Chicken Salad with satay chicken strips. Let me tell you, it was gargantuan! Two people can easily share it. It was loaded with a variety of goodies: lettuce and a bit of red cabbage, bean sprouts, cilantro, shredded carrots, radishes, peanuts, cucumbers, and a few rice noodles. this place is phenomenal. i have never had a bad meal here. the salmon was cooked to perfection and the lemon sauce they put on top is addicting. i did swap out the asparagus with broccoli and it did not disappoint. my boyfriend got the herb crusted salmon with the steak and he said it was just as good as mine. the cheesecake was obviously delicious. we were so full after our meal. the crab dip was also amazing. our server was fine. and the place is so pretty inside. i love this place and i will be coming back for sure. read more

The last two times I have been here with my boyfriend our plates and silverware have been dirty, as well as his cup two times in a row on the same visit . Decided to give it another chance today and my boyfriend had a hair on his plate and all of our silverware was dirty with old food on it. The bread they bring to the table is also very good. And, I can't leave without getting the Lemon Raspberry Cheesecake. We also like the Tower of chocolate cake.
