Next, they booked me for the wrong procedure and when I got there, said someone in the office would have to call me later to fix it. I missed work and everything due to their error. Not only did no one call afterward, but the office then failed to return MY calls. Lastly, their billing options are limited to you calling a foreign number and paying some man. And there is only one man at this number who can handle payments for them, so if he's in the bathroom or at lunch you're out of luck. The whole thing is just so, so unprofessional. I expect excellence from heart specialists. I got incompetence.

I then met with Dr. Bartholomew. Very personable, through, informative, I was highly impressed with both nurse and doctor. VERY pleased with my visit. Upon leaving another patient had a medical emergency in the hall. Dr. Bartholomew rushed to aid the patient and as far as I know was there until paramedics left with them. This is the Doctors we need, she did not stutter, hesitate, or look for anyone else she was right by the patient to aid them. They seem to focus on quantity of the patients they have instead of focusing on the that are regulars and often to speak for awhile with many issues. One of them also often forgets to refill prescriptions and on occasion ask for you to come back in as tho it's the patient's fault. It would be a great office again they have amazing doctors and at one point had a great Nurse Practitioner but she left and the doctors always seemed stress to the max. It's also a pain to get a hold of them on the phone. I hope it's temporary because they do have what I takes to among the best

Dr. David Underwood told me, from his lips to his god's ears, "we put the wrong lens in your eye". His words, not mine. He then recommended a second surgery which damaged my cornea. (Persistent and irreversible swelling.) I understand that there is some risk involved with every surgery. But "oops, I screwed up" should never be one of them. I would not recommend this clinic to anyone who values their vision.

Dr. Priester actually cares for his patients, you're not just a number. He is willing to take on hard challenges and stick with the patient until the crisis is over. He doesn't just refer you to someone else when a patient is complicated. Instead he says "We're a team, and we will beat this". I totally trust his judgement and have confidence in the care I receive. I have gone through some hard medical issues that lasted a long time. He was there with me every step of the way, going beyond just basic, and treating me as an individual with different needs and treatment than someone else might need. He also is willing to research and talk to other experts in the field to get another opinion, unlike some doctors who think they're the ultimate authority and won't consider anything other than what they've always done. He's a wonderful doctor who goes out of his way to help, doesn't scrimp on care he gives and is willing to give guidance to help the patient navigate through a catastrophic event, including finding out costs if you need to get more care elsewhere, so you aren't surprised. I highly recommend him, as do other patients he treats and there are many. I hope he doesn't get burned out because he treats so many people and cares so much.
