I was recently looking through charity shops in Sunderland looking for some new books to read. After looking through a number of shops I found the Children's Society. Once inside the shop it was clear to me that the staff inside who give up their free time to work in the shop all seemed very happy and clearly enjoying working within the shop. Within the shop there is a large selection of products, there are children's clothes and toys, mens clothes, hats, scarfs, jewelery, mens and womans shoes, womans bags, bric a brac, books and a large selection of womans clothes all of which were very well presented. While looking round the shop I also saw a selection of wall paper. As I was in the process of decorating a room I had a quick look through. The roles they have are at £4.99 each and usually are in shops for 2 or 3 or more times that. I found a role that would be suitable for me though 3 were required. I asked a member of staff who was more than happy to help me find more matching roles without a problem. In my opinion this is simply the best charity shop in Sunderland due to friendly helpful staff, good selection of well presented products. read more
