You can still see the salt water pits and insulated storage areas where they kept the ice. The potter, Charlie, is often at work at his wheel and his wife, Holly, manages and also does clay art. They have works by other artists available in their gallery and there is a lot to see. When you drive up you can tell artists work here, They have a succulent garden of found objects that I spent a half an hour looking at and searching for hidden objects. All in all this is a great place. Bought a bell for a gift, a salsa dish for me, and some coffee mugs and a really awesome batter bowl. I'm going back for gifts too. This is a very lovely store full of Christmas decorations and other intricate items. The store is…read morewell decorated and easy to browse with everything from ornaments to estate jewelry. The employee was helpful and friendly and told us about the bed and breakfast that they offer as well. Parking was a bit harder as we had to park next door and be careful if you're sensitive to perfume as we were hit in the face with really strong soaps by the side entrance. Otherwise we enjoyed visiting.

It truly is that charming and wonderful, not to mention the angels who work here are so warm and inviting. After sharing my love for historical architecture, they gave us a tour of the home including the area that is used as a bed and breakfast too ! It truly made my day, and they go above and beyond with anyone who walks in.
