My mother's Thai soup resembled nothing close to Thai flavours, so she exchanged it for the Broccoli Cheddar, and was horrified. The ambience is generally quiet and peaceful; there is seating for around 30. Staff are competent and friendly and happy to accommodate. Four stars because five might be more appropriate for a high-end place. The Boxcar does not pretend to be what it isn't, but does breakfast and lunch very well, at modest prices. Definitely worth several return visits. And no, I'm not given to hyperbole...

Surprisingly I've never tried the one back home except on a trip to Las Vegas. But I digress. This location delivered on fresh and delicious food from the pastas, soups and salads. Breadsticks was fresh off the oven. I had the 6 oz. Sirloin with chicken Alfredo. Typically I ask for a steak sauce but this was well seasoned that it was very moist and juicy by itself on medium-rare. As for my cheese preference I have it the same way the great comedian Conan O' Brian had it when he visited Olive Garden - I always "cheese it up!" Experience with my girlfriends family made it extra special that makes a family meal even better. Server was really nice and attentive. Also I'm told it gets very busy if you arrive after 12pm. So get there at 11 to make sure ur not stuck waiting outside in the elements eh?
